    Chicken Bahn mi
    Edward B.

Great spot for lunch. The Bahn mi sandwiches were delicious and the roll was crispy. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The chicken and broccoli lunch plate was full of flavor and had plenty of food. The drinks were good as well not to sweet. The service was great, we got a table as soon as we walked in. I love pho places that are nice and quiet. I could just imagine what dinner is like. I would definitely come back.

    Nice and peaceful

First time here and I was very satisfied with the service and food. I loved the aesthetics of the place, it was very peaceful and the service was outstanding, very polite young gentleman who really showed care for all the customers. The pho was good and the broth tasted very clean. I did however think the soup was very simple which isn't bad although I enjoy when onions and cilantro are already included I. The soup. The Vietnamese spring rolls were some of the best I've had in Texas. They came with lettuce, cilantro, and fish sauce just the way I like it. Definitely a great pho restaurant.

A hidden gem for sure. Was pleasantly greeted upon entry and everything went upward from there. The dishes I ordered were great as you can see. I'm a huge fan of pho and these folks do it justice. I truly liked this little place and know I will stop by more often. Delish.

Yellow curry with rice and an egg roll

I'm new to the area and I'm making it my mission to visit every restaurant in my area. I tried Pho 32 and I LOVE IT! The day I visited it was slow but the staff was still attentive and punctual. Simple in decor but I don't need all the bling. The restaurant was clean. My yellow curry chicken was spot on and my daughter loved her broiled pork over vermicelli. We will definitely go back.

Stopped by after church on a Sunday and ordered a previously favorite noodle soup. It's been a couple of years since I last had some so I figured I'd try it out again as a take home item, esp. since I just had a procedure on my left elbow. Haven't been cooking much and had to rest the area for awhile as it's been achy. I ordered the Seafood Egg Noodle Soup over the phone which was finished within 10 minutes. When I got home, I couldn't wait to eat some. It had a nice tasty broth which wasn't salty at all. I remember the waitress said they use chicken broth as a base. My actual seafood was a few pieces of shrimp, halved fish balls & Surimi Imitation Crab sticks. There was also BBQ Pork slices which were brownish-grey, old, stale and not fresh. Don't know if it was frozen and added to the soup but it was not good and I ended up spitting out each piece. I was disappointed as the last time I had the soup in the restaurant, it was tasty?? The condiments were fresh--bean sprouts, sprigs of Thai Basil, lime wedges, a small container of Hoisin sauce and Cilantro. The portion size of the egg noodles were perfect and angel-hair size. The chopped fried garlic and green onions added a nice flavor. I don't know if I'd order this again as the quality has definitely gone down. Perhaps I'll try another soup dish or noodle dish but am leery at this point.

I had never been here before but was so surprised at how good and friendly the food and service was. It was so clean and very nice inside. My favorite thing is Pho and it did not disappoint. I'm so happy I found this place and can't wait to go again soon.

I found this spot on Yelp & it was a hit! The pork & shrimp vermicelli with spring rolls & no nuts was so fresh and so were the vegetable spring rolls. Very sweet lady taking orders & checking you out. It was a very peaceful environment. I would definitely come back to try other things on menu.

Hidden gem! Ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and pho with well-done steak--both were flavorful and comforting. The cute little chandeliers and peaceful ambiance made the dining experience extra special. Super friendly staff, and I can't believe I didn't discover this place sooner. I will definitely be returning!! Highly recommend!

Delicious, casual, quick service. Best summer rolls I've had in SATX thus far. It's the kind of place where you walk in and seat yourself wherever you'd like, so I took a small table by the window, where I could focus on my studies whilst eating. The service team was very attentive and full to the brim with hospitality and I love how close this place is to my church! Perfect spot after hanging out again the park in a chilly day! The parking scene isn't the greatest. Most of the spots (especially by Walgreens) have signs over them saying 30 minutes max parking. Be careful of the spot you choose if you're planning to dine in for a reasonable amount of time.

    Beef coconut broth pho!! Amazing!
    Marcela C.

Their Spicy Coconut sate broth is one of the best versions of pho I've ever tasted. I grew up in next to Garden Grove California aka Little Saigon. The hallway of my home was the dividing line where Santa Ana ended and Garden Grove started. I have been eating pho since I was a young child. This is definitely the best Pho place in San Antonio, Texas. The service is fast and the food is delicious. This review is focusing on the food only.

I finally tried this place. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of tables they had - more than I thought. I ordered my food to go. The place was very clean. My order was ready when I arrived. I ordered Chinese food, Kung pao chicken and a small egg drop soup. It came with steamed rice and an egg roll. I wasn't expecting the egg roll. The Kung pao chicken was very good and tasted fresh. I wish it had been spicy as indicated on the menu but I was very pleased. The egg roll was very tasty. As for the soup, it lacked flavor but I was full with the entree. The staff tended to me right away and were friendly. I will definitely be back to try other items.

It is very warm and uncomfortable in the restaurant. The pad Thai beef and chicken meat is tough and doesn't have any flavor.

All wanted Pho. After reading different reviews and based on our location, we decided on Pho Kim Long. Little place right on the corner. When we walked in, place was busy... Noon on a Saturday but we were seated right away. The wait staff was super friendly. We ordered an order of Crab Ragoons and each of us ordered a bowl of Pho. The Crab Ragoons were very good sin size and portion of cream cheese to wrapper. Freshly fried.. Crispy on the outside and soft warm in the inside. I got the combination Pho with Brisket, Rare Steak and Meatballs. Good portion of each type of meat. Broth was hot and so very comforting. Great sense of complex of spices in the broth. Nice portion of the traditional garnishes that comes with Pho. All of us were able to equally share them. Prices very reasonable and all of us left with our tummies full. Not from the San Antonio area but if I was, I'll be making this a regularPhod spot!

I am afraid that I must change my review of Pho Kim Long. I am sad to do so because this was one of…read moremy favorite local restaurants for over a decade. However, my most recent encounter has soured me completely, and I think I will never return. My favorite dish here was something that did not appear on the menu, Bo Tai Chanh salad. Even though it was not listed, they would whip it up at my request. It consists of beef cappaccio on an iceberg lettuce salad with Vietnamese vegetables and a fish sauce based dressing. Tonight they refused my order. What makes this refusal all the more frustrating is that Pho Bo Tai Chanh (the soup version) is listed on the menu and promoted as one of the favorite dishes. All that was needed, to meet my request, was to cut up half a head of lettuce and throw the non-liquid ingredients of the soup on top. Every restaurant should remember the customer is always right. Their only purpose is to meet their customers' requests to the best of their ability. I understand when a kitchen cannot meet requests with the ingredients or equipment they have. For example, I always call 24 hours ahead to order Peking Duck because the traditional methods require that amount of time to prepare the dish. Or I remember being refused a request to have my meat served rare when the restaurant had already cooked all its meat to medium rare using sous vide. I don't expect the kitchen to do the impossible. But every kitchen must be ready to meet special request whether health related like peanuts, shrimp, gluten, salt, carbohydrates, etc. or relate to tastes or ethics like vegetarian, vegans, seafood, etc. To fail one's customers is the first step to being one of the numerous restaurants to fail and become irrelevant. Any restaurant that refuses to meet reasonable requests fails the fundamental test for good service and does not deserve to be patronized. P.S. I end up going down the road to Yaya's Thai Restaurant (another local restaurant) to get something that met my tastes and preferences.
