I work at the plant nursery just down the street and every so often go down to Pho 32 for lunch and I can't help but notice how friendly they are there, genuinely some of the nicest people I've been helped by at a restaurant. Oh yeah, and the food is really good too, everything I get there is perfectly satisfying. If you're in the area and hungry, I'd make a goal to stop by this place. read more

Great spot for lunch. The Bahn mi sandwiches were delicious and the roll was crispy. The meat was tender and full of flavor. I loved the aesthetics of the place, it was very peaceful and the service was outstanding, very polite young gentleman who really showed care for all the customers. The pho was good and the broth tasted very clean. I did however think the soup was very simple which isn't bad although I enjoy when onions and cilantro are already included I. The soup. Stopped by after church on a Sunday and ordered a previously favorite noodle soup. It's been a couple of years since I last had some so I figured I'd try it out again as a take home item, esp. since I just had a procedure on my left elbow. Haven't been cooking much and had to rest the area for awhile as it's been achy. I ordered the Seafood Egg Noodle Soup over the phone which was finished within 10 minutes. When I got home, I couldn't wait to eat some. It had a nice tasty broth which wasn't salty at all. I remember the waitress said they use chicken broth as a base. My actual seafood was a few pieces of shrimp, halved fish balls & Surimi Imitation Crab sticks. There was also BBQ Pork slices which were brownish-grey, old, stale and not fresh. Don't know if it was frozen and added to the soup but it was not good and I ended up spitting out each piece. I was disappointed as the last time I had the soup in the restaurant, it was tasty?? The condiments were fresh--bean sprouts, sprigs of Thai Basil, lime wedges, a small container of Hoisin sauce and Cilantro. The portion size of the egg noodles were perfect and angel-hair size. The chopped fried garlic and green onions added a nice flavor. I don't know if I'd order this again as the quality has definitely gone down. It is very warm and uncomfortable in the restaurant. The pad Thai beef and chicken meat is tough and doesn't have any flavor.

Food wasn't great compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. The pork not sweet at all. Just salty. The bahn mi veggies were not pickled. Just slices of carrots. Never had a bahn mi without radish either. It was as if they just reused toppings for stir fry for their other menu options. I've also never heard of or had a vermicelli bowl with warm/hot noodles. It has always been cold. This restaurant was just so incredibly different from all the other Vietnamese restaurants I've visited so it was quite surprising. Delicious, casual, quick service. Best summer rolls I've had in SATX thus far. It's the kind of place where you walk in and seat yourself wherever you'd like, so I took a small table by the window, where I could focus on my studies whilst eating. The service team was very attentive and full to the brim with hospitality and I love how close this place is to my church! Perfect spot after hanging out again the park in a chilly day! The parking scene isn't the greatest. Most of the spots (especially by Walgreens) have signs over them saying 30 minutes max parking. I finally tried this place. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of tables they had - more than I thought. I ordered my food to go. The place was very clean. My order was ready when I arrived. I ordered Chinese food, Kung pao chicken and a small egg drop soup. It came with steamed rice and an egg roll. I wasn't expecting the egg roll. The Kung pao chicken was very good and tasted fresh. I wish it had been spicy as indicated on the menu but I was very pleased. The egg roll was very tasty. My husband ordered and picked up dinner from Pho 32 on Thousand Oaks. We had heard good things and wanted to try it. Dad and I shared a Pho Tendon. The tendon was softer than most other places. My husband had the Pho Combination and Banh Mi Pork. Dad and my husband had the Shrimp Tempura and Spring Rolls. My husband did feel the meat in the Pho Combination was a little chewy. Came here for lunch with my friend for the first time. We both ordered a pho combination. The essential pho toppings were fresh and plenty. The broth tasted great. We enjoyed the combination of meats in the bowl: sliced beef, meatballs, briskets, tripes and tendons. My favorite was briskets! Menu was mixed with Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai (I think). We were greeted immediately with please sit where you would like. The restaurant is clean and reminds me of the "mom and pops" feels. It's a family run restaurant and we absolutely enjoyed our meals. My husband and I were looking to try a new pho place around our house. We came on Yelp to help us decide and we ultimately found ourselves at Pho 32. It was a great choice! When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeting and told to sit wherever we'd like. As soon as we sat down, someone asked if we'd like a drink and we were given time to peruse the menu after that. The music in the restaurant was soothing. We decided to have some pork summer rolls and brisket pho. The pork summer rolls were fresh and savory. The peanut sauce wasn't as thick as I prefer it, but it was still a great accompaniment to dip our summer rolls in. The first thing we noticed when we got our pho was how much we got! There was plenty of brisket, broth and noodles. The broth had a mellow flavor which I liked because I like to add hoisin sauce. The Thai basil and cilantro were gorgeous and I used as much as I could because it just looked so darn fresh. Neither my husband nor I could finish our pho so we took it home, which, for us, is a testament to how good it truly was. We never bring pho or ramen home. The price for everything was decent. We even saved a few bucks over our old regular pho spot. This is our new place for pho! read more
