I have to give PKW 5 stars, I used to frequent the one in MV, but very happy they open this location in LF. This review is for the LF location since I ordered to-go, they give very generous portions of soup, noodles, and meat. The soup is very fragrant and downright great tasting! The broth is as good as Pho 79, Pho Flavor, and Pho Lover or other GG or Westminster pho places. The location is conveniently close to East Irvine, Foothill Ranch, and Lake Forest if you don't want to drive all the way to GG or Westminster. Definitely will return to try other items on their menu. BTW, their pricepoint is extremely reasonable, and hoping that they don't start to increase because this is the advantage they have over other pho restaurants who charge upwards of 21 for bowl of pho, this place is around 11.50 for S and 12.55 for L. read more

Same restaurant but newer location than the one in Mission Viejo and just as good and reasonably priced. Between the appetizers and main dishes, this place is amazing. I'm surprised at how few people actually eat-in and just do take-out. It's never busy. The service is always so excellent. read more

The prices was fair for the amount of food they give you in the pho bowl. I enjoyed the rich broth and am glad there is a quality pho restaurant not located in garden grove. The workers were very hospitable and even gave extra noodle on the house. Much better broth than Sup in Irvine. read more

I was just scrolling through Vietnamese foods near me while sitting at work wondering what to have for lunch when I stumbled on this gem. I called in to order my lunch, gentlemen there were completely too nice and patient while I figured out what I'd like. I ended up with the Com King Way, the combination rice dish. Upon my arrival, not only was I greeted by everyone there, I was greeted by the smell of Vietnamese cuisine. It smelled fragrant, and delicious, made my mouth silvate at the very entrance of the door. I would give their service and their employees and ambiance in general 10/10. It was clean, it was fresh, it was accommodating. Now let us get down to the food, they were extremely generous with the proteins (more than my rice, if I may add) I didn't even come close to finishing the dish, mind you, I'm a bigger guy and I eat a lot. You had flavorful shrimp, beef, and pork. My only complaint was not enough rice compared to the buffet of meats they had, but that's me nitpicking because there was absolutely nothing to complain about there. I was actually buying a couple Acai bowls next door. After spending $35 to buy 2 Açaí bowls, I asked the cashier for an extra cup or bowl so my kids can split the acai bowl. The Acai place would not give me one. I even offered them money to buy a paper cup, but nope they would not give me one. Out of no choice, I walked into pho king way to ask for one. I am so embarrassed that I am not buying anything and I just told him I really needed a water cup. The waiter was so nice. Without hesitation and gave me one. He offered to give me water or ice thinking that I maybe dehydrated. I told him I just needed a cup. I would return here in the future to eat. Thank you gentlemen. He must gives really nice service. Our server was really nice and the restaurant itself was clean. The pho was okay. We tried the brisket and the steak, I definitely preferred the tenderness of the brisket but it was a bit fatty. The broth wasn't my favorite though, it felt like it was missing something. It was also VERY hot, I understand it's supposed to be hot but we waited several minutes to try it and both of us still burnt our tongues and they're still hurting hours later. Not sure if I would come back because I prefer the broth at other pho spots a lot more. Side note, this isn't the fault of the restaurant but for our entire meal there was a family whose baby was screaming incessantly. Literally the most high pitched ear piercing screams and the mother was just ignoring the child. Later during the meal it was just my party and this family left in the restaurant and two of the children were literally sprinting laps around the dining area and screaming. They proceeded to pull the moss out of the potted plants in the restaurant and throw it on the floor as well as throw the plastic baskets from the tabletops into the air over and over again. There was only one staff member who was serving and he was nowhere to be seen during all this. We really wished a staff member would've said something to this family because the kids were being so destructive and it was jarring how the mother made zero effort to keep her children in line. There are not many good Pho places here and the one by the supermarket is not good at all. Worth giving a try. You get a lot for the price. I got the large bowl and it was super oily. Although tasty, it's from the fatty meat. I started feeling grossed out when it started coagulating. The broth wasn't good to begin with. I had to ask for my drinks 3 times. I noticed they'd rather giggle, sit and play on their phones instead of getting my water and drinks. They started barking at me every time I needed something (like a spoon! Napkins) as if I'm inconveniencing them preparing their restaurant (I was only customer for a long time). customer came and went and had an entire lunch before I got all my dishes and drinks. I was very disappointed with my pho but even more disappointed with my vermicelli bowl. Wet lettuce, bland, thick overcooked beef, and stale noodles. The worst part is horrible sweet fish sauce. That's what could have patched up the entire bowl... good sauce to drown it all out. When I was done with everything, my Thai tea finally came and that was good lol read more

Place is very clean, service is awesome, beautiful dining area, and the food is outstanding.

The food here is pricey, and the meat is so disappointing. It seems like they try to cut cost by cutting the meat as thin and small as possible, and their meat is pretty stale and dry too. It's like chewing on a dry sheet of paper. I rather go another Pho restaurant that offers bigger pieces of meat for a cheaper price. read more

MSG loaded basic pho. Some of their other dishes are decent, but the pho is LOADED with MSG. Literally makes you flush and feel toxic for days. If you want high-quality pho, I would try pholicious or go to Garden Grove. read more
