Today I ordered the regular-sized seafood pho. The shrimp were skinny, dried out, and tasted like they'd been cooked a few days ago. There were also three pieces of squid that were extremely tough--definitely not fresh. And there was way too much imitation crab meat, which tasted like dough and was very low quality. The soup came out lukewarm, and after I added the bean sprouts and other toppings, it wasn't even warm anymore. I mentioned the soup temperature to the guy at the register, and all he said was, "Hot soup for you next time." I left very disappointed--very, very disappointed. read more

Every time I go to Chinatown in Vegas, there's a famous spot where I get vermicelli noodles tofu salad ! It's so delicious. I ordered the vermicelli noodles with vegetables and tofu. It did come with a little bit of salad, but I just added my own spring mix to it to really beef it up ! So good and sweet. I ordered it with extra fish sauce And chili oil! DO NOT ORDER THROUGH GRUBHUB! Tried to order online through grub hub as that is the first option to pop up when you go to make an online order. Tipped 20% and spent $53 and when we go to pick up the food we are told that they don't use grub hub, haven't recieved any orders and they can't do anything for us. Meh... not bad, not great. While, yes, the food is freshly made, and the service not terrible, it's very clear that this will not be your most authentic Vietnamese experience. The egg rolls, reminiscent of the real deal, lack in bringing a balance or a punch; the filling had too much carrot present, and too many chopped mushrooms making it overly textured and overly sweet. The stir fried lemongrass chicken was filling but not as enjoyable considering that there were so many semi-cooked or basically raw white onions throughout that just ended up overpowering the entire dish. It's debatable if I'd return, but maybe understandable if I did, considering it's one of the only Vietnamese spots within the Laguna Nigel and surrounding areas. read more

Came here on a whim for Saturday lunch. The service was attentive and quick. The ambiance was nicer than your average pho restaurant. The bottles of hoison sauce and sriracha on the tables were clean, large, and looked new. All of these things add up to a great experience! We ordered our large phos: veggie and oxtail. The phos were huge and came in really pretty bowls. The broth was savory, and the noodles had a great bite to them. We also noticed that they didn't skimp on the noodles or the veggies :) I took most of mine home because it was so large! We also got a Thai Iced Tea, which came in a plastic to go cup. We would've preferred a glass as we were eating in, but that's not enough to dock a star. They were talking and cursing loudly, making fun of customers inside the restaurant and customers just left the restaurant. It felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. I ate here for the first time today. Keep in mind, it's well over 90° in the middle of summer. There was no AC on... yes, no AC on a hot ass summer day.It was so hot and stuffy in this restaurant with a faint smell of sewage. I wanted Asian food so badly; I went ahead and ate here against my better judgment. Don't come here. The dish I had was ok. I don't think this restaurant would survive if it was placed in Little Saigon: where competition is fierce. To the owners- you are so cheap. Granted you may not even care that much about your patrons but for Christ sakes how could you have the audacity to subjugate your employees to that kind of environment? We have stopped in here twice and delivery once and I have to say the quality is so consistent here. My husband always orders Pho and this time I went with a chicken/shrimp bun. Their meats are always so flavorful. The chicken has a curry taste and the shrimp is charbroiled or something? Really delicious and the portions are so big. We frequented a couple of other Vietnamese spots in the area recently but so far this spot is the best for quality. No shortcuts - no skimping on anything. Really fresh ingredients and an abundance of herbs and veggies which I love. We end up paying more for each dish then We would somewhere else but it's worth it to know you are getting a great tasting meal. We stumbled upon this pho spot out of luck and we were so happy to find it! *we've only done carry-out* *service always friendly* The first time we went there, we were greeted right away - they asked if we were dining in or picking up (we called ahead) my boyfriend got the Pho Special Combination, I got the Pho Rare Steak and we shared a pork bahn mi. I wish I took a photo of the bahnmi because it is beautiful and soooo yummy! The pork was super flavorful, they put the carrot/radish, cucumber, jalapeños and cilantro on the side which I wasn't used to (not sure if it's only for to-go, but they were generous with the veggies!) I was feeling sick and the pho broth absolutely hit the spot! I had leftover broth and warmed it up for breakfast the next morning, still just as delicious. I love how they're consistent with their pho broth as well, we've been to a few locations and some days it was great, and others not so much. But we've been here a few times and so far it's always super flavorful and on point! The bun bowls are delish here as well, I always do the 3 combo (any Vietnamese place I go when I'm craving bun) - pork or beef, shrimp and egg rolls. Can't go wrong!
