Food was delicious and it was a huge portion! This meal could easlilt be split between 2 people and for $20 it's a great deal. Our server was very sweet and attentive.

Fast and friendly service. The pho, garlic noodles, grilled pork, and fried egg rolls are good. I don't care much for the lemon grass chicken. The price is average.

Hubby and I stopped by for lunch after church. We started by sharing the PK Lettuce Wraps. The Romaine lettuce leaves were crisp, but it's not the ideal leaf for wraps. I tried to fold it like a taco, but the filling kept falling out. Hubby chose the Xao Dac Biet (House Special) stir fry chicken, beef, and shrimp over crispy rice noodles. What a beautiful and tasty dish! My Pho Oxtail had 2 big meaty pieces and good flavor. The large bowl meant I will enjoy the leftovers over a couple of days. Not busy for lunch and easy to find parking in the shopping center.

This is a local gem my family visits whenever we're craving pho. The food is pretty solid and they give fairly large portions with a lot of meat which I appreciate. I've tried their pho, bun, rice plates, and appetizers and have no complaints! My go-to is their pho tai, very soothing on a cold day! The service, however, is not the best. The staff speaks very abruptly and doesn't seem happy to be there.

The pho at this location is slightly more authentic tasting, the workers were kind and the place was clean. I also tried the curry which was good, but they didn't have any rice since it was the beginning of the day. Overall 4/5

Came in early afternoon about 4 so not much of a crowd. Got our food super fast and pho was good. When I came in the past around 7pm this location used to be super crowded. When you want a bowl of soup to comfort you. This is a great place to go to get authentic pho noodle soup.

I was craving pho but wanted to avoid sitting in traffic, so I decided to try a local spot. Filet Mignon Pho: 3/5 The filet mignon was not as tender as expected for this cut of meat. The broth lacked depth of flavor and the noodles were fairly standard in texture. Service: 3/5 My family and I were seated promptly, but after taking our order the server did not check on us again. We eventually had to flag someone down to address an issue with the water pitcher, which raised concerns about the restaurant's cleanliness. Ambiance: 2/5 The dining area had no music and no air conditioning. The atmosphere felt flat and uninviting, which took away from the overall experience. Overall I would not return based on this visit. The restaurant fell short in three key areas: a flavorful broth, a welcoming environment, and attentive service.

Today is my last day to try this place since they keeping their portion of the meats for noodle bowl. I won't pay $20 for little meat soup ;) again

Amazing food good service right up until we made it to pay for the food there were five people and we split the bill three ways we were trying to be as reasonable as possible but he was getting kinda upset I offered to pay for the whole thing when he was getting stressed and he insisted that we continued to split it then he proceeded to take a step back and crouched down with his hands on his knees and said this is not easy while he was hitting the table and he always had a confused look on his face but overall it was good food just whatever you do DONT SPLIT THE BILL10/10 do recommend don't split the egg roles

They have Vegetarian and vegan options which is greattt. It's pretty good but not amazing. I like the name pho king way

Not a fan of the name. Craving pho, as I always do, so found this last on Yelp. Lots of free parking. Outside seating available. The pho was on, I like my noodles to be chewier, these were just soft. The steak rice was pretty good. The rice is butter rice so very creamy. The stir fried noodles were ok, nothing special. Glad I tried.

Service is very friendly. We tried the egg rolls and pho. Both were very good! The restaurant is very spacious, too. Pretty decent pho in South County.

The food at Pho King Way was solid. We enjoyed our pho. Unfortunately, the service was pho king terrible. The staff seemed uninterested. We asked for ice water and never got it, and overall, the service felt untrained and inattentive. It's a shame, because the food deserves better support from the front of house. As much as I enjoyed the meal the service was so bad I won't be coming back.

It's recommended to get 1 portion and order more as you go since it'll be fresh and not soggy. I tried their recommended dipping so as, the beef and the duck. Both of them had amazing flavors that made me keep wanting more! The soba was nice and chewy with the perfect al dente texture, and it paired perfectly well with the dipping sauce. Also tried the shrimp tempura soba and was pleased with the portion they provided. The tempura itself was also nicely coated, not too heavy on the crumbs. The staff there were all very friendly, and helped guide the menu since it was my first time. Amazing service and great food. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

I don't think many restaurants offers cold soba option so if you never tried it, here is the probably the best place in south OC to give it a shot. This restaurant is located in a large plaza so there are plenty parking. The wait is usually not long at all. I have been here a few times with my family during lunch and dinner and it is never that packed. I think it is located in a pretty secluded area so it is not busy but the food is very good. The decor is simple but clean and has many tables. This most recent visit I ordered the marinated beef hot udon and my daughter ordered the Kakiage cold udon. I didn't know what Kakiage is so the staff kindly educated me that it is a ball of Tempura vegetables. Please don't mix it up with Karaage which is Fried Chicken. They are two different dishes. The broth of my beef udon is deep with umami flavor. The soup base has a legit dashi flavor, not the instant udon flavor. You can tell the difference right away. We also ordered the grill squid. The grill squid is tender and has a unique tastes like the dried squid snacks that I get from the Japanese market. The staff even offered hot water for my daughter's left over dipping sauce. She mixed her dipping sauce with hot water to drink it as a soup. Overall the food is great and we'll definitely be back for more.

They're big, made fresh, and my daughter can easily eat three of them. The restaurant gets very busy and packed, especially during dinner, so expect a wait. The Dan Dan noodles are my husband's favorite, and I really like that they can make them non-spicy, which is a great option for my daughter. For soup, we prefer the big wonton soup over the small wonton soup because it comes with seaweed. The broccoli, however, could definitely be cooked a little longer--it's too hard for our liking. The service is basically nonexistent. You're expected to order from your phone and pay upfront, so don't come expecting much table service. One thing that really bothers me is the water service and sanitation. Instead of emptying and properly cleaning the water jars, they appear to simply refill them with more water and give them to the next customer. Knowing how messy kids' hands can get, this just doesn't sit well with me. I think the sanitation could definitely be improved. Overall, the food has several things we really enjoy, especially the green onion pancake, Xiao Long Bao, and Dan Dan noodles. But the lack of service and some sanitation concerns keep it from being a perfect experience. The 3 starts is so they can look at it and fix the sanitation issue.

The value is quite good considering how much food you get, but as a Filipina, I'm disappointed in the quality and taste of what is provided. Most of it looks good, but everything seems dry, lacking or other. The marinade for the pork/chicken bbq is tasty, however, they are so stingy, much of the meat consists of chewy fat that doesn't break down. Cheap. It also isn't cheap for a stick of bbq. Kaldereta -Stewed meat, usually beef or goat with veggies. Tasty, but once again, the meat has way too much fat, and the meat ratio in the stew is totally not worth it. Adobo - tasty sauce, with the same problem of too much fat, little amounts of meat, and poor quality. Kare-kare - decent, but lacking in flavour, good on the amount of veggies in the sauce. Lumpiang shanghai - dry inside and outside, lacking flavour, like it sat for way too long or overfried. Mind you I have gone when they opened and it was 'fresh ' or newer. Ginataan - Thick coconut stew usually with eggplant, pork, and squash - okay, but the ginataan lacks some flavour. Pancit - Okay, generous portions, sometimes can be dry and I can't describe it, but the taste seems....off. All in all, my experience with cafeteria style Filipino food here in Lake Forest left a lot to be desired and I would rather cook this at home. I can agree the value can be good, particularly if you go on days when there are specialist, but if you get can get past that flavours being lacking and a bit uninteresting. I love Filipino food and am always seeking a warm hug from flavours and dishes I grew up eating.
