The service is friendly and the portions are generous. This is a family run, BYOB with not much of an ambiance. We came here for lunch with the family and were seated immediately. The menu had a mixture of Vietnamese and Chinese food. We ordered the Pho, Pork and Broken Rice and spring rolls. Dinner at Pho Kitch'n taught me the value of NOT going to a restaurant just because you have a coupon. The ladies' bathroom was very clean, and there was a great sign hanging in there that instructed visitors not to turn off the light. I'll let you discover why not on your own. Also, the server and the hostess were very polite. As for the restaurant experience...hmmm. I came around 7:30 p.m. on a midweek night, and there were two other tables with customers. It took a very, very long time (about 20 minutes) for anyone to take my order (or even drop off some water), and I was actually considering going to the front desk to buy a can of soda to drink. Finally my server came with some water, so no harm, no foul. That said, the slowness of service was par for the evening. Since there weren't that many customers, it's possible that the backup was in the kitchen rather than with the server, or maybe the server had two sets of duties she had to fulfill. (And another table ended up going to the front to ask for their check, so it wasn't just me who got forgotten.) All this would be a minor snafu if the food were good. But it wasn't even close to being good...I was shocked. I love Vietnamese food and was expecting a good dinner, especially because a fair number of Yelp reviews rave about Pho Kitch'n. My mistake might have been ordering something other than pho; maybe Pho Kitch'n is good at pho. But definitely not the other fairly standard dishes I ordered. I had Thai milk tea, an order of shrimp summer rolls, and a pork banh mi. Something immediately seemed off with the Thai tea, usually one of my favorite treats. It barely had any of the usual Thai tea taste, but more important, the milk seemed to have turned or was about to go bad, so I told the server that the condensed milk was going bad. She told me that it was actually half and half, so I drank the rest of it, but it was pretty terrible. The shrimp summer rolls were ice cold... I'd have been fine if they were the usual tepid summer roll temperature, but they were for some reason icy and without much taste. I considered leaving them uneaten, but I was hungry, and poor, so I ate 3/4 of them. (But I will say that they were HUGE, if you value quantity over quality.) The same problem with the pork banh mi...not flavorful, kind of gristly. I have never had a bad banh mi anywhere else before this week. Again, I considered leaving the whole dish behind, but being poor, I decided I can't afford to waste food. I will try to steel myself to finish the sandwich tomorrow. Maybe it's better refrigerated. Anyway, if you look at my other reviews, you'll see that I give nearly every restaurant a 4 or a 5. I'm the queen of grade inflation for restaurants. I ordered the lemongrass steak pho and my bf ordered shrimp pho. I enjoyed the generous pieces of steak, but I was very disappointed by the pho broth. The chili oil really saved this dish. I don't think the restaurant used bone broth, and that's what I was look for when coming here to cure my hangover. The herbs are fresh and plentiful. Service was average, and the ambiance was a classic Vietnamese restaurant. My friend and I dined here for dinner at 6:10pm on Friday night. It was our first time coming here. It was not busy; we were greeted and seated right away. Lots to choose from on the menu! We shared the Chinese Pancake to start, which was just OK. I thought it was a little greasy, could have used more scallions, and definitely needed the dipping sauce. It's a decent portion for two people. For our meal, my friend ordered the Chicken Pho and I ordered the Shrimp Pho. About 15 minutes after we placed our order, our server informed us they were out of the chicken broth, but my friend said beef broth was fine to substitute. We ended up waiting another 45 minutes for our Pho after receiving the appetizer, watching as later-seated tables all received their food. As a gentleman (possibly the manager) was clearing the table next to us, I asked about our food. He went to find out and came back very apologetically, explaining that our Pho was given to the wrong table. The good news was, they had made more chicken broth, and we weren't in any rush. I was just disappointed no one had checked on our table in all that time, and I had to flag someone down. (I'd hate to think how much longer we would've waited had I not done so!) We also needed more water to drink. We were very happy to finally dig in once it arrived. We both enjoyed our delicious, hot Pho, though I felt like the broth was on the salty side. Huge portions, and at the perfect temperature. The gentleman came back out to apologize again and let us know the appetizer was comped, which we appreciated. Our server also apologized for the mix-up and delay and made sure we had enough water for the rest of our visit. After that, we paid, but then no one was around for us to say thank you or goodbye to, so we left. I'd always wanted to try this place and was excited to finally have the opportunity. Com dac biet take away! My only complaint is the plate is smaller than I expected. Otherwise all the flavors are there. The fried egg carried out well and was cooked to my liking (a little runny). They gave me the real nuoc mam to use and it was well seasoned. The pork chop was nice and flavorful. The shrimp was pretty big but plainly grilled. The banh mi bread is crispy perfect and the fillings fresh and not soggy. The pork chop and broken rice dish is so packed with umami goodness and the portion size is hefty. I dare you to finish it. Pho Kitch'n on Ridge Pike, Eagleville, PA, is an Asian fusion restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine taking the lead and Thai/Chinese following close behind. It is in a free standing A frame building, with plenty of parking and nice size dining room. I went with the namesake noodle soup with lean round steak and fatty flank. It was a large bowl for $8.95 and the stock was good with interesting and subtle flavors from long simmering, and a large knot of noodles beneath the surface. Sadly, the side plate of accessories to add to the pho was disappointing, with withered Thai basil and dessicated lime wedge visible with a quick glance. Delivering them to the table was an act of disrespect and slovenliness that is impossible to dismiss as an oversight. The woman serving me certainly put the plate together in the kitchen, and just didn't give a damn, or worse. Ironically, the pho itself was pretty good (even without the basil and lime), and would have garnered a higher score but for the passive aggressiveness served with the pho. 2 Stars read more

A pho place in the burbs...the viet food is way better in south philly but this place is close to where my parents live so I had to try. We got the lemon grass chicken, banh mi, and pho. Lemon grass chicken (~12.95)- Sliced chicken pieces...I was pretty disappointed because I thought it was going to be a whole chicken. It came with onions and peppers but it tasted overcooked to me. Banh Mi ($5)- Pork- Not like you're regular banh mi because they use actual cooked pork and not like lunch meat but the bread is SUPER hard and it was really dry. The meat was overcooked as well. Pho ($8.95)- broth was not that great Thai Iced Tea- Too sweet and not worth $3 I think if you're craving viet/thai food and you really can't get yourself to the city then come here. Started getting take out regularly here a few months ago and at that time it was a 5/5 for us. Everything we got was great. Until middle of January 2023. Maybe they got a new cook? We usually get the lemongrass chicken vermicelli (Bun) which is NOT supposed to be spicy. It was delicious originally and you could really taste the lemongrass. But the last two times we ordered, it tasted like PURE FIRE. A bunch of chili pepper was dumped into it and you taste nothing but burn. I thought it was a once a time mistake but the second time we ordered this week, it was even hotter spice. Completely inedible. Very disappointed. I hope they fix this soon. I really want to love this place. The food is good given the limited authentic Vietnamese food in this area. However, I just can't continue to stomach their fly problem. Every time we go there, there are flies hovering and landing on our table and food. On one occasion while dining with a GF who was a first time visitor, I ended up killing 3 flies. Now I do have mad accuracy skills, but gosh, that is really unsettling! If those are the flies we can see, I can't imagine what we can't see in the kitchen.
