Currently in KOP for work. After traveling all day, just wanted something simple to eat before running some errands at the near by Trader Joe's. Ended up at Pho Wayne a little after 7pm on a Tuesday night. Order pho and fried pork egg rolls. Everything was really good. I am typically a stickler for pho. Must be the Vietnamese in me. I thought this pho was very good. Great flavor. Good ratio of protein, broth, and noodles... and the price was reasonable. The eggroll was really good, also. The restaurant looked new and clean inside. Very nice ambiance. I was the only person in the restaurant and service was good. All the food came out really quick. Overall. Super positive experience. Great service. Great food. Nothing to really complain about. The menu is diverse, also. Definitely lots of non-pho stuff if you aren't into pho. There's also banh mi, rice plates, vermicelli bowls, Pad Thai, and a few other dishes. Easily 4 stars out of 5. But going to give this place 5 out of 5. Seems like a mom and pop small business. Overall pretty standard Pho place. Venue feels modern and clean. Staff were nice and prompt. Had brisket pho. It was good, not exceptional but it was on a weekday special so quality and quantity = price. The shrimp summer roll was good. Peanut sauce was good. Overall a solid 4 pho dinner. read more

I've only ever ordered their avocado banh mi and I think it's excellent. Daughter has had tofu banh mi and boys the traditional with pork. Everyone happy. Bread is perfect, which can really make or break this sandwich. Staff is friendly, place is clean. read more

I was so so excited to see to try this place! My coworker and I decided to try this place out for lunch since we both love Pho. We sat down and were given menus. Prices are pretty comparable to other pho places in the area. The place was clean and beautifully decorated. I believed this place was a hot pot place which was converted from a Wendy's. We sit down and I ordered the bone in beef pho which sounded interesting. I've had something years before and wanted to try it here. My coworker ordered chicken pho. I was really hungry so I also ordered the crispy spring rolls as an appetizer. 30 mins later...we just received my spring roll appetizer. Not sure why it took so long. They were busy but I wouldnt think an appetizer would take that long? Also what is weird is the first one I bit into it was cold. Like its been sitting out for a bit. The second spring roll was warm/hot. Very strange. Both had good taste but it threw me off when one of rolls was cold. 10 mins after that both our phos came out with the appropriate fixings. I'm not sure why it took so long but other tables seemed to have to wait for their food as well. We were given no updates or apologies about the wait (noone came to our table at all to check in on us). The pho broth itself lacked flavor. This was very disappointing. The bone in beef was cuts of fatty meat and was very tough. It had good flavor and potential to be very good. I wish they cooked it longer so it fell off the bone (like how its suppose to). My friend said her chicken pho was okay and was surprised by tomatoes in her pho. She asked a waitress how long this place has been opened and she said 5 weeks. I give this place 2 stars since it is new. Lots of things will need to be improved for sure but there is potential. read more

I came here for a quick bite with my friend and we both liked the food!! I ordered the meatball pho and liked the flavor, there were no issues with our meal and we didnt have to wait long at all compared to other reviews. This place is a family owned business and yes I do agree that the broth needs a little more spices, add some hoisin and sriracha and it's perfect. I still think it's the best pho in the area. Fast service. My boyfriend loves thai tea and this place has the best thai tea ever hands down. There was only one other couple dining, so service was fast. The broth had good flavor, and the beef was tender and cooked nicely to medium rare. Portion size felt right for the special price, though at the regular $15.95 I'd expect a bit more meat or a larger serving. As a lifelong pho eater and enjoyer, I missed the restaurants of South Philly, and was frequently let down by all the options in the Wayne area. But then Pho Wayne arrived and it easily became my favorite option in the area! The bowl size was good and with a decent ratio of noodles to meat, leaning a little more towards having more noodles, and the broth, while not beating any of my old Philly favorites, is definitely a far leap ahead of everything else in this area. The restaurant itself was also very clean and had a nice atmosphere, though you can tell it used to be a hotpot place from the tables and soup spoons they give you . Fast, good, nice people. Weirdly empty but it's Tuesday and the internet says they are closed; in real life, open on Tuesday. Pretty good and an extra star for being in Wayne. Pho supreme equivalent was good. Maybe the soup can be touch hotter with a mild more fish sauce. Viet coffee is refreshing. This was NOT the best pho I have had, but certainly not the worst either. The broth was on the weak side and somewhat bland. Not nearly enough bamboo shoots or Thai basil served with it, but it had a nice amount of other things, the rare steak, brisket and meatballs. The restaurant seems very new. Was quite clean and cheerful so thats a plus. Service was quick and very good. Now I Have never had Pho Before So As a First Timer My Experience and Expectations are Pretty Low Compared to seasoned Pho Eaters lol. Also there is a grand opening Special of $9.95 for a bowl so that as well as it not being busy the place even has a drive through which is extremely unheard of that's what enticed me and my Fiancé to visit So here we go Service was Solid , the servers were very friendly and the food came out relatively fast , they are pretty tech forward and took our orders on tablets which got to the Kitchen at the press of a button, I am a little disappointed in the fact that 2 couples came in after us and they got there Pho and Food before us which I thought was actually unfair but I digress mabye the food we ordered takes longer to make she is also the only server and for that I'll say shame on them for only having 1 server do dinner, But they are hiring so come apply it's a nice spot. But she did great serving 5 tables on her own 4/5 The Food Was a mixed bag, my fiancé wanted her beef to be done more well it was a little to red and the only option was to microwave it. For that I would say they should allow options for customers to choose Rare,Medium or Well done beef/Meats. Also I feel like the portion is a good size and filling as well as flavorful. we got pho, pork rice platter, grilled pork vermicelli (not pictured), and beef banh mi (not pictured). the grilled pork vermicelli dish lacked in flavor and tasted watery. the portion of meat was small and there was a lot of fat in it. the beef in the banh mi was on the sweeter side and it was cold. they also put lettuce in the banh mi which is not authentic. the pork in the rice platter was very sweet and it was almost like bbq sauce. there was more fat and bone than actual meat. it lacks the fish sauce flavor. it also did not come with pickled carrots and daikon. the pho was bland and has too much msg. the server told us that the pictures in the menu are not what the actual dishes look like. the food the came out slow and they brought out one dish at a time over the span of 15-20 minutes after bringing it out. the resturant was clean, nicely decorated inside, and the waiters were kind. it caught our eye when we saw the grand opening sign outside. they have a deal for specific dishes priced at $9.99. it's a nice resturant... but if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food, you will not find it here. read more

Hi, I've been to this pho place many times. Every time I come here, the food is consistently good. I always get the weekly special pho and it's great quality. It's fun trying new things in my pho every week, but no matter what, it's always tasty. The service is always great. The staff is very kind and always open to get you whatever you need to make your food tastier. The environment of the restaurant is another thing that never makes me sick of coming here. It's very calm, a great place to come by yourself, with a friend, or with groups. A very inclusive environment. I was there about 3 weeks ago. I have no complaints about this place. The Pho was good. I got the beef rib Pho extra veggies and the roll with shrimp. My rice noodles were cooked perfectly. the broth was just right for me. All delicious. The place was clean. It was on a Saturday about 4:30ish. I got their round eye and tripe pho special which came out to 9.99 before taxes. At that price point, it can't be beat by most if not all the pho places within the suburbs. For the majority of the menu items, it ranged from 15 to 20, which is typically the standard for pho in the suburbs. In terms of the taste, the broth was rich in flavor, but the meat portion was on the medium to medium lower end of what I expect from pho. The service was a bit lackluster as it took roughly 30 minutes for the pho to come out. While I understand that they just opened, the slow service will be a turnoff for working professionals trying to grab a quick lunch. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean and had lots of natural lighting. All in all, while the portions were on the smaller side for an adult male and the service was slow, the environment was clean and the food tasted good. It's better than most places in the burbs but there's just not many places to get Vietnamese out here. Pho street used to be good but they really went downhill after COVID. We went for the 2nd time and they finally turned up the heat here last Sunday so we weren't freezing. Decent crowd of mostly Asians having lunch. The place looks somewhat upscale and is clean, with lots of light (big windows). NO sticky tables here! Unfortunately, the entrees are overpriced but they do run a very limited $10 specials that are more in the ballpark of what the entrees should be. If you want pho with all the goodies in it like you normally would downtown, be prepared to pay $18. Pho broth is decent (but I feel like it's missing a bit of flavor) and portion size is standard. Pho accoutrements (bean sprouts, herbs, jalapenos) are also to what you would expect. Grilled pork bahn mi is delicious. They use good bread with good balance of crispy and chewy. Verdict: it's good but not great. Main line price adjustment. If you want great, drive into the city. My suggestion to the owners: drop the prices and get rid of the specials. Train your staff to smile more and keep the place warm ( figuratively and literally). Some tweaks could make this place much better. read more

The server are lackluster, not enthusiastic to be there at all, don't really seem to care or check up on you. I'm a server as well and I do tip well if I'm getting treated with bare minimum. Today I ordered a vermicelli bowl and it states that it comes with peanuts and spring roll...totally left out my peanuts had to ask but saw the girl walked by to buss a table when she should've gotten my peanuts that was ON THEIR MISTAKE. like there's no sense of urgency at all when they should've check that my food had everything in it correctly before dropping it on my table, this is why as a server it's important to do 2 bite checkup...I once came before that and they never done that too or don't care about getting more basil for my pho urgently. Just the POOR service of this place makes it a bad. The food is okay for the burbs there's no where good to be honest to get Vietnamese food. I had high hopes. Such a shame that the service is absolutely GARBAGE. Had to copy and paste my Google Review here as I was shocked to see some of the low ratings and bad feedback on Yelp. Our initial visit to Pho Wayne was 3 weeks ago and we've been back 10 or more times. It's amazing. Now for the review. We finally went to the new Pho Wayne yesterday. It was DELICIOUS. The flavor of the Pho. Muah! They had several weekly specials, including the Beef Pho, that were only $9.95! Amazing deal. We also got the Crab Rangoon that my daughter devoured. We want to go again today. I've been craving Pho Wayne since I woke up, but they don't open until Noon. . Feels almost impossible to have to wait for another three hours. I could eat this everyday and with the specials, I probably can. I saw the comments on the high prices for "non-special" items, but honestly feel it's in line with what's charged at similar places nearby. We Pho Wayne. *I have not been incentivized for this review, but would happily take free or discounted Pho*. Update. I did go again today and the Pho was as delicious as it was yesterday. I was going to get the grilled beef Banh Mi to go but I made the BIG mistake of ordering the Shrimp Summer Roll. A TON of lettuce, a few smaller shrimp, and noodles. I should have taken Audrey's review to heart. No cilantro or herbs. Flavorless. I am a bit annoyed I spent $9 on this. I could have gotten the sandwich for this. Thoroughly disappointed in this item.
