You know how you try a restaurant when it first opens up in your neighborhood, and then something happens - - either you don't like it or it's nothing special, or there's something better. That's what happened with me and this place. Well, we tried it again last night and I was like - - YUM!!!! Yes, the vibe could be better. Yes, I wish there was a full bar with fun cocktails. But I gotta get over that. The food is delicious. And they have a big menu with lots of options for everyone. Salad rolls were yum. Chicken satay was so moist and flavorful. They have one of the best crispy crepes I've ever had. Shrimp pho was good but will probably skip next time because we ordered way too much food. Service is quick and efficient. Maybe too quick. All the food basically came out at the same time - - ugh, what do you eat first before things start getting cold? Dining room is big with space between tables. Bathrooms are to the right of the entrance. Parking lot out front with plenty of parking. Definitely worth a try. We will be back.

It's been awhile since I came here, but a friend really liked one of their dishes and recommended to eat her for lunch. The place is nice and clean. The person working was quick to take out orders and made sure we got what we needed. I tried something different this time - Korner Super Bowl Pho, which had a good amount of meat that included beef rib, oxtail, top round steak, lean brisket, tendon, tripe, and beef meatballs. The bowl was good and filling. It was a good choice on a cold day. My friend liked their Bun Mam, a salted fish stewed soup with vermicelli noodles.

Literally the Best Pho I've ever had!!! And for an amazing price ! The interior of the building was full of beautiful plants and gorgeous vases and artwork . The pho had so many veggies and I've never had so many herbs added for free! The owner was kind and the service was quick ! Definitely a destination spot as Iive in Beaverton ! I give them 20 stars!

Solid Vietnamese food with good service! We enjoyed the "Super Bowl" Pho, vermicelli bowl with chicken and Bánh xèo.

I'm from California and wanted to try a PHO spot when I came to Portland. I'm so glad I came to PHO KORNER. The restaurant was super clean and well organized. I felt welcomed. Their food was hot and tasty. Honestly better than my go to from California. Would recommend to anybody.

Arrived at pho Korner this weekend around 9AM. The only pho Resturant open to us around this time. Attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious. We ordered 1 small beef special & vegetable pho also small. My only complaint is they used grilled chicken in their broth and Although it was full of flavor I didn't really want it. The veggie pho came with carrots, bok choy, cabbage, mushrooms & broccoli. I appreciate this Resturant for adding more veggies into their veggie pho compared to other establishments. All & all. We would come back & try their other dishes due to friendly staff and good food.

Well, not the best photo... but it was good soup!

With new owners and a new name, I have great hopes that Pho Korner will live up to the standards set by it's predecessor Pho Corner. The new owners have placed a significant amount of time and money updating the kitchen and facilities during a recent two-month closure, let's hope that energy comes through in their food as well. My simple order today consisted of Pho and Thai tea. The noodles weren't overcooked, offering the perfect amount of springiness required for dishing up and reheating at home. The broth did what any broth should do, filling my car with it's smokey fragrance the entire ride home. Oh, how I do love Pho! Here's a quick shoutout of gratitude for being generous with your toppings, Pho Korner. There was plenty of basil, lime, jalapeño, sprouts and unidentified weeds go around. Have I shared my Pho hack with you, yet? I take the white onions out of the topping mixture and quickly sauté them in a little sesame oil before adding them to the soup. I swear it makes the dish taste so much better! Then again, maybe I'm crazy. Try it and tell me what you think. This Vietnamese restaurant has long been one of my favorites because it's much closer in than some of the places out on 82nd. The food has consistently been delicious. And the dining area has always been sparkling clean and spacious. Next time I visit I'll try something else and let you know what I think.

Fantastic fresh food. Good service. Ate at PK a few times while in town. Highly recommended.

My family came here for lunch, everything was fresh and delicious. Super polite and friendly staff, we liked how they asked questions during the meal. Really chill Vietnamese music in the background. Must try, especially their special Pho!

The pho is amazing! Taste so good and has amazing flavor:) the people there are very nice, definitely come and ask if you need anything ( but give you a good amount of time to eat and not interrupt you) it's very clean inside and has a very warm feel.

An order of spring rolls were also ordered, but wasn't in the photo. It was ordered with crispy pork belly. Based on some reviews, I was skeptical about ordering the pork belly, but I was pleasantly surprised. The skin was very crispy and you could hear the crunch from across the restaurant. The restaurant is very open with big windows, but I liked the concept of the open kitchen look. The service was really good. I ordered through DoorDash and went with the Vegan Pho and salad rolls. On the positive side, they were generous with the tofu, which is more than I can say for a lot of restaurants. Unfortunately, both dishes seemed to have the same secret ingredient: salt. And then a little more salt. The pho broth was already pretty salty when it arrived, but somehow managed to become even saltier overnight. By breakfast the next morning, I was pretty sure it could have been used to preserve historical artifacts. The salad rolls were packed with tofu, which I appreciated, but whatever marinade was used had enough sodium that my old horse Mika probably would've mistaken it for a salt lick. To be fair, my Pescatarian mom and Omni husband both enjoyed their shrimp rolls, so not everything was a miss. Overall, the food was edible and filling, but the heavy hand with the salt kept me from fully enjoying it.

The pork had a great char, the shrimp were grilled well, and the crispy wrap added a nice textural crunch. Steamed broccoli was a fresh addition, and the side broth hit the spot. * The Pork Chops with Shredded Pork Skin (Bì) & Egg Meatloaf (Chả Trứng) plate was decent, though a bit average compared to other spots nearby. The flavors were fine, but nothing particularly stood out. * Noodle Soup: The spicy beef noodle soup had a rich, deep color and a generous amount of fresh herbs and onions, though the broth lacked a bit of the punch and depth of flavor I was hoping for. Overall: It's a convenient neighborhood option with generous portions and fast service, but given the quality of Vietnamese food along Powell and 82nd, it lands right in the middle for me. Good, but not quite a standout.

If you are looking for fresh, flavorful, and satisfying comfort food, do not walk--run to this spot. To get the full experience, we ordered a variety, and every single item was a hit. We started with the Beef Pho, and the broth was the absolute star. It was rich, aromatic, and deeply savory, clearly simmered for hours. It was the perfect dish on a sunny Portland day. We also grabbed a Chicken Banh Mi. The bread had that perfect crispy crust with a soft, airy crumb, and the chicken was grilled to perfection with fresh veggies and herbs. Of course, we had to wash it all down with a creamy, sweet Thai Tea--it was delicious and the perfect end to the meal. Beyond the food, the vibe is great. It's a super clean, casual spot with big windows letting in lots of natural light. It's set up for quick counter service, which makes it perfect for a fast lunch downtown, but the staff is so friendly and welcoming that you feel right at home. It's a family-run business, and you can taste the passion in the food. Highlights: · The Pho Broth: Seriously some of the best in the city. · The Banh Mi: Fresh bread, great fillings. · The Service: Fast, efficient, and incredibly kind. Pro Tip: Don't forget to grab your own utensils and sauces (the chili crisp is a must for the pho), and help yourself to the free self-serve hot tea. It's the little touches like that which make this place a winner. I am already planning my next trip back to try the Crispy Pork Belly. Highly recommend
