Lang Thang Whip serves up four flavors and a few different toppings. They plan to keep vanilla and Vietnamese coffee on all the time and rotate out the other two seasonally. I love pho, and Pho Lang Thang has some of the best in the city (second to Tong's Thai in Milford). I have to get the Pho Bo when I go, wagyu beef broth with rare steak. I have to say although the steak is never rare, it is super tasty and huge portions. I love that pho broth has a nice cinnamon flavor to it, and the Thai basil is what makes it for me. Every time I eat ramen I wish it was pho! This time we also got the Vietnamese chicken wings. They had a honey Asian glaze. They were nice and crispy but could use a little more flavor. My husband had the bahn mi and said it was ok but wouldn't get it again. I got a limeade and my husband got a mango soda. The limeade I would NOT recommend - it has a super weird flavor that overpowers it and makes it undrinkable. The mango soda was good but overly sweet. You can't go wrong with the pho! I'm a Findlay Market fanatic, shopping there weekly for over 25 years now, and Pho Lang Thang has been a favorite from the days they had a cramped space inside the market itself. Nothing like the stylish, spacious digs they have now, with a very well-stocked bar and friendly, attentive staff. I stopped in on a chilly February afternoon and enjoyed a delicious, warming chicken congee and fabulous beef bahn mi with pate and jalapeños. I cannot overstate how absolutely perfect this bahn mi was. The bread was light and fluffy but still had a nice crunch. The tofu was FANTASTIC, super flavorful and had a great crispy texture. Wow, if you are in Cincinnati near Over The Rhine, I would highly encourage you to stop in for a meal here. We were visiting a nearby brewery and got hungry, so I hopped on my phone and discovered a Vietnamese restaurant right around the block with high google ratings. We walked a block and a half and found this bright restaurant. When we arrived there were several groups in the waiting area. We were greeted by the hosted and asked about the wait time, which was 20 minutes. They took my number and said they would text me when the table was ready. So we were able to walk around the street and Findley Market before heading back for a drink at the bar. The only strange encounter was when we got back we walked straight to the bar and sat down. There was plenty of seats available. The hostess came by and asked what we were doing. We explained we had put our name on the list and were going to get a drink while we waited for a table. She replied she would let someone know but it might take a while. (huh? Take my money, please) A server arrived shortly after and we confirmed with her that it was okay to get a drink while we waited. Right around the 20 minute mark my phone buzzed and our table was ready! We were sat at a two top right by the kitchen. The menu looked amazing so it was hard to decide, but we ended up ordering the fresh salad rolls, Vietnamese chicken wings, grilled pork vermicelli bowl and fried tofu bowl. The appetizers arrived quickly and they were fresh and delicious. I love Vietnamese food because it feels healthy since there are so many vegetables included! The fresh rolls had fresh herbs and were packed full. The chicken wings were delicious and super flavorful. The entrees followed shortly after and were packed with flavor. This place does not serve very authentic pho. My husband loves pho and was hoping this would be a great place for dinner on a cold night. The food is way over priced with low quality and poor taste. The service provided was subpar. The receipt was wrong and the waitress argued with us about how she chose to ring it up when it clearly had two items on there that we did not order nor consume. Overall, hipster cook vibe in a cool location but the food is overpriced, lacks authenticity and flavor, and service is subpar. Went back yesterday and was extremely disappointed.First of all, the place was empty in the middle of what should be a lunch rush. Long live PLT! This Cincy staple was one of the first restaurants I tried when moving to the area back in 2020 ... and is now my go-to spot when I'm craving some comforting pho. On my most recent visit, I was driving through down I-75 on a Sunday evening with not even a whisper of an idea for what do for dinner. I called my husband and he suggested I pick up PLT. He placed an online order for me through their website, which was ready to go when I arrived around 20 minutes later. I always appreciate the staff's attention to detail when it comes to packaging to-go orders. The broth and meat are in a separate container, and then the noodles, veggies, and sauce are in a sturdy, compostable bowl. You really have the opportunity to build your bowl exactly how you like it! They even include packets of Sriracha and Hoisin sauce. My husband and I both ordered the Pho Bo Tai, which is their famous beef broth with rare steak. If you're taking your meal to-go, I recommend ordering some extra noodles, because they give you plenty of broth, which can be saved for leftovers the next day. Our food was incredible, as it always is. Tried this place for the first time recently and immediately got it again the next week! We love the Tofu crispy roll ups (note we got pick up and used chili crisp to top it and it is DELICIOUS)! They sat us at a small able but there was plenty of space we felt like we had a lot of privacy. We were greeted right away and service flowed. I ordered noodles with a lot of toppings. Pho Lang Thang is located next door to High Five Salon and down the street from Findlay Market. Metered street parking is available. Looking for something to have for dinner last night, I used Yelp to help my husband and I find a place for dinner. I wanted hot food since I am getting over a cold so we opted for Asian food. With this place being highly rated (overall 4 star rating at the time of this review), I thought this would be a good place to check out... but was I wrong... so wrong. Anyways, after we came in, the bartender acknowledged us and told us that someone will be with us. A few minutes later, a female employee came out and got two menus and then led us to a small 2 person table. Being that the place was pretty empty (we arrived after 5:35 pm), I just asked if we could sit against the wall so we could have the bench seating. What surprised me was the attitude she gave us as she picked up the menus and tossed them onto the other table. I honestly do not know what is this employee's problem but I saw her give attitude to other customers whom she seated too. Anyways, we had a very nice employee take our order, in which we ended up ordering: Goi Cuon, $6.50 prior to tax- pretty standard spring rolls, these spring rolls were pretty heavily packed but surprisingly held up and didn't fall apart. I liked these spring rolls but think the price is a bit expensive for 2. Pho Tai, Regular, $14 prior to tax- My husband ordered this pho with brisket. The broth was salty and not very flavorful. The meat itself was okay though. Com Tam Chay (Tofu), $12 prior to tax- I ordered this broken rice dish because I wanted rice. The pickled carrots with very little radish was too sweet, which I did not like. The tofu was too salty and also very oily, it should have been better drained (I ended up placing the tofu pieces on a napkin to help remove some of the oil). Honestly the only things that were fine with this dish was the rice and vegetables. ------------------------------ (Total= $35.03 after tax, prior to tip) In addition to the food not tasting good, the service was pretty lacking. Our server was nice but he was never around and never refilled our water. He also never bothered to come by to ask us where is our food. After the spring rolls were brought to our table, we waited 30 minutes (with the photos that I took on my phone, they are time stamped). After 20 minutes had passed, my husband had to ask another employee where is our food. She ended up getting our server, in which he said that the rice dish is what is taking so long and so they just want to bring out both my husband's pho dish and my dish out together. He had said that it should be coming out any minute... which was 10 minutes later. That is very unacceptable to wait so long for a meal, especially a rice dish. A Vietnamese restaurant should have that on hand. Also it doesn't take that long to fry up tofu. We saw another table that came after us in which they did not have to wait long for their rice dish so I don't know what the problem was. We were never apologized to or given anything to compensate the time we waited, etc. I didn't have high expectations for Vietnamese food here in Cincinnati but I wasn't expecting this. Congratulations Pho Long Thang, you are officially the WORST Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever dined at (and I have dined at a lot, including those that aren't really that great). A wonderful new addition to the Findlay Market area! We had the spring rolls, vegan-style, grilled pork with broken rice, veggie pho, and vietnamese iced coffee. These are my usual staples when I get Vienamese food so I feel pretty confidant writing that they were all good versions of those dishes. My grilled pork was well presented and came with gorgeous tomatoes (yeah, I can say they were pretty good looking!). Atmosphere is bright, colorful, open & airy - very modern/clean, as you would expect from a hip new restaurant in OTR. Celiac in our party had the Pho with beef brisket, I had the chicken and rice, and another in our party had the chicken and cabbage salad in a crunchy seaweed shell. I was trying this place for the first time and was getting excited reading the reviews of how good this place is. I was looking for a closer place than the one I usually go to (Saigon). This place would be half the time getting to. Upon entering the vibe was good and the place was empty on a Monday with 2 other people. Ordered the 3 meat beef pho. Food came out relatively quick. Broth was like warm and meat wasnt cook. The broth wasn't hot enough to cook the meat and was eating rare brisket. The broth didn't have that pho taste, if I could imagine what old bucket water would taste like, this was it. I'm not sure if that was a one off but for the price this place charges is not something I'm willing to gamble with. I'll drive the extra 20min for something worth it. The service was "blah" could barely hear the server and didn't offer to refill my drink until after I was already done with my bowl. The reviews on here are deceiving, not sure if some of the people on here actually tried real pho l, or this was their first and only place. But to each their own. This place isn't for me. A well designed and colorful restaurant a quick walk from Findlay Market. The place was packed on a weekend afternoon. We tried the Vietnamese coffee for a pick me up, yummy and good jolt of energy! The highlight was the com thit nuong (rice plate with grilled pork). You can't really go wrong with thit nuong. The meat was tasty and charred with crushed peanuts on top. Just wish more meat was given. There was more meat provided in the Banh mi thit nuong, but the bun was quite small! We are accustomed to traditional Banh mi served on a standard French baguette with thick cut vegetables and spicy green peppers, which this version lacked. The chicken wings were coated in a sweet honey chili glaze that was tasty, and the meat itself was tender. However we did send our initial wings back to the kitchen for what appeared to be feathers on several of the pieces, most prominently on this one. They were very long and gave us pause enough to decide we didn't feel comfortable eating it. The server was very helpful in getting our wings taken care of, but in general it was a little slow and it took a while to get our food. Best pho in Cincinnati hands down. On the more expensive side, but for good reason - the meat is so tender. This place has become me and my friends' comfort restaurant. I usually get the pho tai nam, and I really love that they have small and large sizes so I can order according to my appetite that day. They also have a lychee juice that I love to treat myself with. I will also say I ordered delivery from them off DoorDash once when I was sick and they packaged the pho so thoughtfully, it was so convenient to eat because they provided a bowl with the noodles and broth separate. Last, I had the 3 Protien Pho, Pho tai nam bo vien, the noodles were the perfect texture, brisket was melt in your mouth delicious! The rare beef came well-done before it got to the table but it was still so tender. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the beef balls but the texture was too soft to my liking, a little like cha lua, I just like mine with a little more bite. The broth was not bad, it wasn't too aromatic and just a little bit salty. I can tell they use good quality beef here! I have been ordering fresh spring rolls at many different places over the last 50 years of my life and they have always been the 12 inch rice paper then cut in two coming out to 4 fairly large portions. Pho lang uses the small 6 inch wrappers. They were tiny (size of small egg rolls) for the same price. The pho broth was pretty good. The greens that came with it looked they had been bagged up days in advanced and the cilantro was slimy. The noodles were over cooked and mushy and gross. Maybe they got put in a bag hot and continued to steam until they melted until they were beyond soft. My total came to close to 40 bucks. That's way too much money for sub par preparation and tiny portions. First and last time. read more

My fiancé and I were craving a good bowl of pho when in town visiting our friends. We found Pho Lang Thang via Yelp and decided to give it a try. We came for a late lunch around 2pm on the weekend and they were pretty busy. We put in our name and waited about 20 minutes to get seated. The inside of the restaurant was really cute and by far the trendiest pho restaurant I've ever seen haha! They have an extensive menu with pho and other Vietnamese food as well as beer, wine and craft cocktails. We ordered the jasmine hot tea, friend spring rolls and the pho with brisket and rare steak. The pho was delicious with the highlight being the brisket - so good! The broth was really different from a lot of other pho restaurants we have been to but it was still really good. Wow.... All I have to say about this visit is wow. I come here many of times ... this time we were celebrating my birthday and my sister said she was really in the mood for Pho... told her i knew the best place in town.... ( the smallest plate of some brown a** vegetable for 3 bowls of pho ???.... You used to get your own now they charge BTW... bill comes of course we get charged for 3 protein pho... I told server bill was wrong, she then proceeds to argue with me about what i ordered.... But 3 different charges for things and my mother ordered the same thing as me ???? Answer that one???
