Spring Rolls

Update- still legit and still amazing. If you haven't tried Vietnamese food this is Cincinnati's spot. Authentic and fresh with amazing fun staff. Also if I had not mentioned it, the best espresso martinis in Cincinnati hands down and I'm very picky about my espresso. Give them and Findlay Market a try.

Came in for late dinner after arriving into town. Felt like something got and the pho fits the ticket. Has a side salad to go with it and tried the supposedly best chicken wings in town. Service was great. Wings were ok. A tad dry for me. Simple salad meets my needs. The bowls of pho had generous amount of noodles. Good amount of protein as well. I like the 4 protein bowl because of the tendons.

The food, outdoor seating and service were all wonderful. It's in a super cute little neighborhood as well that's super walkable. We loved it.

Pros: Great location in Cincy Love the retro decor Pho had a wonderful flavor and the portion was large Delcious summer roll with tasty peanut dip Bahn Mi had tender meat and the bread gave it a nice balance There's bar seating Cons: Parking can be a challenge in their area - shoot to park on the street Service can be slow but it's worth the wait Pro tip: Would be fun to sit at the bar for happy hour and have a bowl of pho

Great spot! I'm from a very Vietnamese area and this pho matched some of the best I've had. Definitely more of a western, modern vibe than a traditional Vietnamese pho house but great food with lots of food. Would recommend.

Food was great got the brisket and steak phő. Also had wings and spring rolls. Everything was delicious! Servers had an attitude off the bat which was uncalled for and didn't let up till they dropped of the check with a fake happy attitude. Restaurant had a lot of seating inside and a bar in the middle.

Overall pretty good experience. I learned that I am not a fan of rare steak so the app was probably not for me but the Pho was delicious and came out ridiculously fast. I ordered the smaller size and the portion was still very generous. Highly recommend experimenting with the sriracha, soy and Hoisin sauce at the table with your pho, added a lot of additional flavor.

Pho Lang Thang is a gem in Cincinnati that absolutely deserves the recognition. I had the Bún Ga paired with a Malbec while my girlfriend went with the Bún Chay and a sparkling white wine, and we were both completely satisfied. The food is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the drinks complemented everything beautifully. We sat outside on a gorgeous day which made the whole experience feel like a little escape, and our server was friendly and attentive without ever making us feel rushed. A must visit.

I recently moved to the greater Cincinnati area from Los Angeles, and let me tell you--LA has an amazing Asian food scene. I've been searching for something just as tasty and authentic here, and Pho Lang Thang absolutely delivers! The broth is rich, flavorful, and easily beats some of the pho spots back in LA (which says a lot). I'll definitely be a regular here. So far, nothing in Cincinnati compares! The service is impeccable and the restaurant ambience is beautiful.

Chao Cho Ga (Chicken Congee)

Service was great. Not a lot of people there when I went for a late lunch (2:30pm ish). The Chao Ga (Chicken Congee) was good. Had a solid flavor but can tell it wasn't bathed in the chicken stock enough. Only gripe was that the chicken was non existent. Having white pepper would've elevated the dish as well. The Pho Dac Biet was packed. Had an abundant amount of protein in there, which is contrary to a lot of "newer" places to cut costs so that was refreshing. The broth, like the Chao Ga, could've used more time cooking in the beef bone broth. I definitely tasted the toasted spices more than I did the flavor from the beef bones traditionally. Honestly, way better than I would've thought for Cincinnati to be frank. The Cafe Sua Da was normal. Nothing special. Not overly sweet or too bitter. They definitely used a different type of bean than most Cafe Sua Da I've had around the US and VN. When you walk in, the decor was very deceiving based on what the pictures of the food looked like. Very hipster decor with some traditional Vietnamese decor as well. I told the bartender/waiter that was serving me, it felt like it had Vietnamese guts and a hipster exterior.

Definitely more t the best Ive had in the Cincinnati market. Pho Tia Nam ended up with meatballs in it. Server was busy as a bartender and I didn't get a table setting and napkins until I had completely finished my fresh spring rolls and I had to request needing napkins. Wouldn't go out of my way to stop here.

Great service and a super clean restaurant! My partner tried pho for the first time here, and he couldn't stop raving about it after we left. We started with the chicken wing appetizer -- phenomenal -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered the large chicken pho, and the broth had the most delicious, comforting flavor. The Vietnamese drip coffee was strong, rich, and honestly brought me back to life. Our server was so sweet! She was wearing a fun Halloween cat shirt, and we ended up chatting about our upcoming trip to Salem. It made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. I do miss the old location, though -- I used to live in LA and still miss those little hole-in-the-wall pho spots -- but this place definitely fills that void. This is officially my wintertime go-to for hot, steamy pho.

I ordered the bún thit nuong (grilled pork cold noodle salad) and added cha gio (fried pork spring roll). Super yummy! My friend ordered the rice plate version of it and an iced Viet coffee which was delicious. We were amongst the only ones there when we arrived, but it got busier as we ate. The store has a nice ambiance and is in a great location near Findlay Market.

Gotta get the pho. So good. The banh mi sandwich is great too. Gotta check it out. Make sure to add everything to your pho that comes with.
