Been here 3 times on multiple occasions, random walk-in times, whether for lunch or for dinner we were greeted nicley by their staff and wait times are usually 30-45 minutes? I usually leave my name then wait for them to call when the table is ready since the front entrance area isn't that spacious or meant for standing around. The food: the noodles + small appetizer combo is what we order almost every time and honestly, there aren't that many items to choose from on their menu! We still wanted to try the different soups and this time I tried their tom yum beef and I have to say it tasted better than the clear soup, mainly because of the intense flavours and it wasn't as oily (or maybe i just couldn't see it) but definitely getting this again next time! Service: I have to agree with the other reviews that service here was a tad slow, but super slow but could be improved! Would be nice if they had more appetizer items or drinks to choose from. read more

Went there for early supper on their second day of soft opening. The ambience was good. Servers were attentive and polite. Menu was limited to noodle soup though. Prices were reasonable. No appetizers were available yet, due to 2nd day per server. We found the soup base flavourful, not overly salty nor MSG ridden, good quality meats and bouncy rice noodles. Their soup bowls were quite thick so food temperature seemed to remain reasonably good throughout. Hope to try their side dishes next time. read more

Got the large pho combo. Soup is a bit bland and could use more flavour. The large (or extra noodle option) is the biggest bowl they serve. It was more like a regular size in my opinion. Also tried the chicken wings and the spring roll. Both were average. Also got the mango salad with shrimp. Good dish but had better elsewhere. read more

My friend who moved here from HK mentioned this is a very popular branch in HK and is recognized as a true Michelin star restaurant. Hearing that, we definitely had to try this here. I went with my friend on a Friday afternoon and we had to wait around 15-20 mins for a table. You can leave them a phone number and wait in the car and they'll call you when your table is ready. Service was a bit slow, I believe due to lack of staff so empty tables weren't cleared quick enough. I ordered the Pho with brisket while she ordered the Pho with beef balls - we both really liked it. Prices are comparable to other pho places in and around the area. Other than the parking being a little bit of a pain during rush hour, I'd definitely come back more often. read more

Nice modern Vietnamese restaurant. They had some fun lunar New year dragons on the ceiling that my kids enjoyed looking at. The pho broth had a very different flavour than the typical Vietnamese restaurants. Less beefy and salty and more "pure" tasting. They were very generous with the beef for the pho noodle soup. Came here on a weekday and it was still busy. The location is not very convenient and it is very small. So family with kids beware. They have a combo set that allows you to pick a noodle dish as well as a small app that comes with two pieces. We got two combo one with wings and one with spring rolls. Both so delicious ! The pho broth was flavourful yet light. The meat portions are great! Haven't had pho that gave decent amount of meat in awhile especially with prices that keep going up! They recently opened up a Michelin star Pho place near me and wanted to check it out ourselves. We ordered two combos which came with a side dish and we chose wontons and spring rolls. I wanted to try the original to taste the authentic broth while he got the Laksa. Both were really good and the portions are really big as well if you want to try other food, I'd say just go with the Regular. They also had Thai Iced Tea which was a bonus for me! this cozy pho spot recently opened up in richmond hill and is recognized in the michelin guide! they have been a business for over 70 years after starting in vietnam's i tried their combo set, which comes with a noodle soup and small appetizer. i got the Phở Tai, Bò Viên and their deep fried chicken wings. both were very light and easy to eat! definitely something to try for a quick meal. their pho size comes on the smaller end and is quite pricey for one bowl ($14.75). i understand they use high quality ingredients, but this is definitely not a place to go to if you are extremely hungry. the chicken wings are also pretty tasty but i have had better in the GTA. i would still recommend it if you've never tried vietnamese chicken wings before though! the service here was OK. i went during their soft launch and they were quite busy, so i understand it's tough to tend to each customer. however, it took us about 6 tries for an employee to finally refill our water. hopefully this has changed as they are fully launched now. overall, i would still recommend giving them a try and support them if you're in the area! read more

Recently visited Pho Le and overall experience was good. I had the Original Laksa which was unique and pretty good, had a strong taste of coconut if that's your thing. Would get again. As for the Pho it was mediocre, nothing exceptional. Pricing is fair. Service was good and the atmosphere was chill, restaurant looks new and clean. read more

This restaurant is a Michelin guide Bib gourmand 2023. I came here with my husband and we wanted to try the Laksa soup base but they didn't have it available. We were here around 2 PM and there was still a bit of a line up. We waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. I like that they have a combo with the pho and I decided to choose the chicken wings. It's was pretty flavourful and crispy. The pho noodles were flavourful and not greasy. There was a lot of meat in bowl too! I will definitely come back to try other dishes as well! read more

I respected their limited menu -it showed that they specialize. However, I'm not quite sure what the hype is about. The pho broth lacked depth (anise, cloves and umami) and tasted more like wonton soup, and the quality of rare beef was average. Our spring rolls and chicken wings were too oily and lacked crunch. The banh pho was the only positive, being slippery and chewy. I don't put hoisin or Sriracha in my broth unless it's bland, but I added those in addition to fish sauce and chili oil. Service was amatuer because our server was forgetful and, when we discovered that the wrong portion was served, he immediately took it away, placed it on the back counter and discussed with his colleagues, only to return the same bowl and comp'ing us the portion size upgrade. Still not sure about them blasting 2000s hip hop but I've been to Vietnam and all the outdoor clubs were doing it, which might be the only nod to Vietnamese authenticity here. read more

We waited for almost 40 minutes and there were tables that were empty that they could have seated people. The table was empty for a good 20 minutes and the people just waited in line...servers were just standing around. Then you have the audacity to turn away the rest of us in line because your closing in 30 mins.....and tell us to please coming again, no F'ing way we're coming back to this dump. Worst service ever, doesn't matter how good the food is, would taste horrible with this service. Michelin star.....no freaking way!! Not with this service!!! The pho was amazing and authentic with great service. We arrived at a good time and didn't have to wait too long. Expect a line up if you are going during prime time. The place is clean and tidy. I love noodle soup and especially Pho. I will start off with the green Thai ice was light floral flavours. It was so delicious, had just the right amount of balance between the sweetness. The Pho Dac Biet was a bit disappointing, it was quite sweet compared to the original flavours in Vietnam. I have tried the same franchise in Vietnam and it's not the same. The laksa soup was alright, missing depth of flavour. Overall, there can be some modifications of flavours profiles. The service was not so bad as it was very busy as it is quite a small space. I came here because it was a Michelin Guide restaurant, however I will not be returning. Had come come check out this new spot in Richmond Hill. Newly opened Michelin Guide from Vietnam has just landed in Canada and we had to check it out!! We a Pho Dac Biet combo and the Laksa Dac Biet combo both in small size, this combination comes with a bowl of noodle and an appetizer of your choice all for only $18.50. We got the spring rolls and the chicken wings. The Pho broth was delicous not salty at all but if you want it saltier there is fish sauce that can be added to taste, the bowl oh pho I would say feels more like a Medium/Large with the amount of meat and noodles. The Laksa also did not lack in the meat department which again felt like a Medium/Large size, however we found to be slightly under flavoured and not piping hot. The chicken wings were very tasty but the spring rolls we found lacked a bit of flavour. I wanted the coffee but was already sold out by noon so we ended getting a Thai Ice Tea half sweet and a Thai Match Tea half sweet as well which was perfect for us. I had the laksa with rare beef. Soup is not hot enough that it takes a while to cook the meat. Other than that food is good. I find with the same price on other restaurant you get a lot more stuff. Service is not good in my opinion. I understand restaurant is busy but literally somebody comes over to take your bowl the moment the last food is swallowed. And in a 'minute (literally), the bill comes without prompting. I had to wait as well to get my table and I don't like being rushed out. It doesn't feel relaxed. That's just my opinion. read more

Tried this new pho restaurant out during their soft opening (10% off entire bill). Overall Experience: Poor - They have no system for guests waiting for a table (i.e. no numbers, no names). Other guests were complaining about who was in line first. - Their pho can be upsized to a Large by adding $2. However, if you order their combo (which comes in a small size pho + an appetizer), it cannot be upsized to a Large. Very strange. - We were not served water or tea. Although other tables did have water/tea, so they must have just forgotten about my table. - In addition to our meal, we ordered a Cold Thai Ice Tea. It did not come with a straw and when we asked for a straw, they apparently ran out. - Our two bowls of pho did not get accompanied by any bean sprouts or basil leaves. We did see other tables have bean sprouts, so they must have just forgotten to give us some (and we didn't realize we didn't have bean sprouts until we were half way finished). - They did not have a full menu available (specifically, Laksa was not available), but this is understandable given their soft opening. - Their chicken wings were amazing. Best part of the meal. - Their pho is just average. The pho broth is light in taste. Compared to other pho restaurants, the amount of meat provided was little. For an extra price, you can upgrade to large size noodles bowl, however, there did not appear to be much difference with the portion size of the 'regular' size Vs large size. For the extra price they charge for large size, the portion size was small and was not worth it. read more
