I am a Pho fan, big time. When I find a good place, I go over and over and o.... I would go back here, if I were passing through OKC more often. The noodles were cooked well, and the broth had great flavor on it's own. A big plus -- they offer small/med/crazyhuge. I had the small, which is plenty, no one needs 4 pounds of liquid, meat and noodles sloshing around. I digress. The quality of the rare steak and brisket were both very good, and the rare steak actually came rare as it arrived. My wife had her usual when available, vermicelli w/ spring rolls. Also well cooked noodles, and crazy portions. The summer rolls contribute to the star lost (5 stars is increasingly rare). They were around room temperature, which freaks me out for anything w/ shrimp. This is a common thing in Pho restaurants, I've noticed. The ambience is as you'd expect from a good Pho place, which is to say, weirdly decorated and wide open w/o privacy or accouterment. Speedy, friendly service. read more

I think Lien Hoa is okay (not really excellent). I don't think Pho here is the best. It's acceptable. Rice (with grilled pork, eggs, etc.) and Vietnamese gumbo (a fermented thick Vietnamese vermicelli soup) are yummy. The service here is acceptable. But I don't think this restaurant is really clean. First things first...why are there only 104 restaurants reviewed in Oklahoma City? Imagine my surprise during my trip to OKC when I look on yelp only to be amazed at the lack of restaurant selection...okay...so maybe I shouldn't be surprised. Vietnamese in the mid west...praise the lord!!! Anyway, why are the only reviews of pho hoa from my peeps from socal? Oh wait, there is a local reviewer and someone from NOVA, but still, the out of state reviews do lend a legitamacy to the overall rating...but I digress. Stepped into this place and found a table. There are about 30 tables, some lacquered inlaid mother of pearl wall decorations lit by florescent light and a huge fishtank in the back of the restaurant...blah blah blah...who cares about ambiance right! Tried the bun cha gio...terrible nuoc mum but the cha gio was good. I'll give this place 3.5 stars which mathematically means I have to round up to 4. I'll come back to try out the pho if I get some time. read more

I eat pho every week, all around the country. I didn't care for my bowl of pho here. When we walked in, it smelled like the pho was going to be amazing. Unfortunately the soup I got did not taste like the aroma in the air. Did I get watered down soup cause it was the end of the night? I couldn't believe how under seasoned my broth was. With the high rating and number of people giving a rating, I figured this would be the best pho in OkC. Will have to try somewhere else. read more

Consistently good pho. Fast service. Clean interior. It can be a little cold in the winter in the mornings so bring a jacket. They open at 9am which is earlier than most pho places in Okc. Try getting a pho bowl but ask for egg noodles instead of rice noodles. You won't regret it. read more

You were just okay Pho LIen Hoa. I was looking forward to you so much but i was disappointed when I tried your Pho and Spring Rolls. I got the Pho Tai Chin which is pho with thin raw pieces of beef and the spring rolls. The springs rolls were the weirdest spring rolls I ever had. They had shredded lettuce and were missing the traditional mint and herbs that are usually in spring rolls. The Pho broth was bland and lacking flavor. I've only had one experience at this restaurant so take my review with a grain of salt. The staff were fairly welcoming and I was eager to try the pho. It was fairly good but the brisket was a little fatty for my taste. The broth didn't quite have the savory-ness I've come to expect at the fine pho restaurants here in OKC. This is hands down the best place for pho in OKC. The restaurant seems to only care about its food and service, and that is what matters when it comes down to it. Once inside the staff will seat you and your friends as soon as possible, knowing that they regularly have a high volume of customers so they know that getting you seated and served behooves them but also benefits you as the customer. The menu is simple; it's basically just pho. That is why you go there. Because they usually have a lot of customers you know that they are making the freshest pho in the kitchen. It is cash only but they have an ATM on site. That may be one way they keep costs down. Don't complain about that. Just go and enjoy good food. read more

I was referred here by my banker Tayna, She told me to try P14 and add meat balls, which I did. This place is A-OK. I called in my order and added egg rolls. Everything was good. The broth had a good flavor. The egg rolls were longer in size than normal, I liked that. The only thing I didn't like about ordering my Pho TO-GO from here is that I had to go home and cook everything. Best pho in town! My son and I get the P11 and an order of spring rolls. All of the food is so fresh. Just one draw back. The service is not that good. Popping in to get take out after a long hard day, or a hungover day, or a cold day, or a warm day is one of the greatest amenities of living across the street. The bus let's me off in their parking lot after work at least a couple of times a week. I get the rare steak pho (p16) and fresh spring rolls to go. The fried spring rolls are SO GOOD and are delicious on their vermicelli bowls (bun). Their rice platters are delicious, my personal favorite is the lemongrass chicken but they're all good. Ever since I tried Pho for the first time in Evanston, IL at Annam Cafe, I've been looking for another awesome Vietnamese place. Unfortunately, that place is now closed, and despite living in NYC for a while, never found a place as good. I thought Pho Lien Hoa was great, but still not as good as Annam Cafe... However, I will DEFINITELY be going back. I tried P8 Pho, which had three different types of meat, rice noodles, scallions, broth, chinese basil, bean sprouts, etc., and the summer rolls, which were also delightful. Pho Hoa is typically fairly busy - which is a good sign. Even so, they seat you, serve you, and get you right out the door very quickly... no cuddle time necessary with this one. I did notice that they had raised the prices since last time, which is unfortunate when you've been spoiled by dirt cheap prices, but they are still decently priced. The food is alright, but there are plenty of other pho restaurants in the area that offer good competition, it really just boils down to personal preference. It should also be noted that they accept cash only, which used to pose quite a problem since you wouldn't necessarily know until after you've already eaten, but they seem to have addressed the problem with an ATM by the checkout counter. Food: We got the beef bun and found it enough for two. Well seasoned meat, but not the best cut. Still, it was tasty fare. Came back to visit some of my old undergraduate haunts. And this place still has the best spring rolls and pho, maybe even Vietnamese food in Oklahoma City! Spring rolls and their peanut sauce were delicious, you can tell the ingredients were fresh (not like it takes much time to make spring rolls), and not premade; sitting around waiting for someone to purchase it. The spicy-ness in the peanut sauce added a unique kick. Pho just as delicious as I remember, the broth was piping hot and the bowl was full of meat and noodles. I absolutely love this place!! Its a really simple place, one big rectangular room with a bunch of tables and a lack of décor. But the food is AMAZING!! and it arrived almost immediately after placing the order. I've had Pho from numerous places but never have I seen sooo much meat, my boyfriend couldn't even finish it all. I had Hu Tiu Thap Cam which was delicious. Next time I'll be sure to get the small because I was so full from just half the large. The egg rolls were bomb and only $2.50. My husband and I came back for another round of pho at this establishment. Despite having less than amazing service the first time around, we came back to satisfy our craving and let's be honest, they really know how to serve up a tasty bowl of soup. We were so happy with the service and everything was just perfect this time around. Our server was so kind and so patient, did not try rushing us or appear annoyed when we had questions. The food came out super fast and was just excellent- great flavors yet so simple. I ordered a small bowl of pho and could barely finish it- I was full after consuming maybe a fourth of the dish. The pho here is okay, but the rudeness of the lady at the cash register as we paid our bill left a very bad taste in our mouth. We'd ordered some food for carry-out during our meal but had not received it. As we were paying our bill, we asked her about our carry-out, and she gave us the most disdainful look, nodding her head upward at a table we weren't even sitting at while rolling her eyes. Well, here it goes. I have recently moved back to OK, and upon my arrival, drove 2 hours just to re-visit this hidden gem. This place is cheap, yet epic. The Pho, is addicting. I have never done meth, but I am guessing this is the food equivalent. There are many choices to choose from. I love trips, so I usually go for the P1. I always start with spring rolls, the peanut sauce is delicious. Try the lemonade, its better than any other I have tasted. They used to only accept cash only, however, they now have an ATM right next to the front desk, in order to facilitate the customers. Go here. It's tasty. I am no connoisseur of phine pho. I am, however, an expert on what I like and I like Pho Lien Hoa's bowl of pho. They have acheived my personal trifecta. 1. Tasty, well seasoned broth. 2. Broth that is not greasy. 3. Quality meat. Pho Lien Hoa has very well seasoned broth. It is simply delicious. I would implore any future diners to not destroy the elegant, delicate broth with hoisin or sirarcha. Both will quickly overpower the broth with their bold flavoring. Let the broth speak on its own, it is very capable I promise. Frequently, when enjoying pho, you will find that towards the end of the bowl after most of the meat, noodles, and vegetables are gone you are left with a greasy pool of unappetizing broth. No so here at Pho Lien Hoa. Not much to say about the meat other than it has a very high quality taste and texture compared to other establishments. read more

If I want pho, chances are I'm coming here. Love the large bowl of broth with my choice of meat (usually lean brisket and rare steak) with plenty of herbs and sauces to make it my own. Food comes out within 10 minutes after ordering, so be hungry! Tried the Thai tea and mango drink with boba for desert, but will probably go a different direction in the future. read more

Overrated. The pho used to be really good here but every time I visit, the portions get smaller and the prices increase. The menus always have increased prices etched in with sharpies.
