Pho with tripe and everything else.

Cannot believe I have not reviewed this place yet. Hubby loves his Pho and we've been coming here for the longest time, well the last few years since we met. It's his favorite in town. The Pho is tasty, the right amount of noodles and meats. We haven't really tried anything else here. A bowl of Pho is under 15.00 which seems a good deal. The staff is friendly and welcoming and recognize us by now. The space is a no frills hole in the wall and extremely clean. You can smell the cleaners when they clear the tables and wipe them. I know is chemical but I rather have the cleaning smell than a table with other people's germs.

Pulled up to Pho Long Beach for a rainy date night, and it was exactly what we needed. The Thai tea was super sweet and refreshing. The egg rolls were crispy and fresh, especially with the lettuce and pickled carrots on the side. The pho hit really well on a cold night--the broth was rich and comforting, the noodles were perfect, and everything came out piping hot. The meat was a little chewy for me, but overall the bowl was still solid and satisfying. Cozy vibes, big portions, and quick service. Low-key the perfect spot for a rainy night out with your person.

Great spot for a pho craving after getting back from Catalina island. Broth was tasty, service was good, food came out quick and prices are decent.

Great place, great food, great service, been ordering from here for many years now and they've only gotten better over time. 5/5 from me.

This is my go to Pho spot it beats everywhere in Long Beach and you can even get filet mignon! They appears take care of you and the instrumental music of popular songs is always cool!

Plastic inside the Pho Dac Biet

I came here a few days ago to stop by for some pho. As i'm eating the Pho, I find this huge piece of plastic in my soup. I had already eaten through half of it before I saw the plastic inside. When i notified the worker of the plastic in the soup, they asked if I wanted it remade. I was already disgusted at this point and said no. Instead of comping me the meal for having to eat this dirt plastic pho soup, they gave me a 50% discount.... Do not come here, there is a lack of quality control and service as well.

We decided to kick off the new year with some Pho and so we headed down to Pho Long Beach as our go-to Pho spot was closed on New Year's Day. I've heard great things about this establishment so I was actually quite excited to try this spot out! My boyfriend and I arrived to a server seating us immediately with a table ready for us. One thing I can solidify about this restaurant is that the service was definitely A1! We were tended to greatly throughout our visit which I really appreciated. The seating arrangement was bigger than I imagined but could easily manage to get a bit crowded as the tables are all quite close to each other. Now in terms of taste, here's the thing.. We ordered 2 Thai Tea's which were honestly phenomenal. I've had Thai Tea at various establishments over the years and I can vouch that Pho Long Beach offers the best one! As a matter of fact, I will honestly come here alone for the Thai Tea. As an appetizer we ordered the deep fried shrimp and it was really great! The shrimp was jumbo sized, yummy, and clean. The Pho dishes consisted of our usual; Rare Steak Pho's with mine including chicken breast. This establishment served me my chicken apart from my pho which I didn't mind at all. We both agreed that our Rare Steak was a little on the tougher side and that the quality of the rice noodles weren't that great. However, there's one thing I really couldn't overlook and that was how our broth was a little bland and much more oilier compared to other Pho establishments. I hate to say it, but my boyfriend and I both left with somewhat of an upset stomach immediately after our visit. I actually had to stop by the drugstore and grab some Alka-Seltzers to mend the stomachache. Overall, going forward I'll skip the food here and strictly stick to the Thai Tea. Thai Tea: 5/5 Pho: 3/5

#16 phở chín tái nạm (rare steak, well done brisket, and flank) = $12.50
    Trung N.

3.5 stars! We ate here simply because of its convenient location. I ordered the #16 phở chín tái nạm ($12.50) which has rare steak, well done brisket, and flank. The phở comes out in very unassuming lightweight ceramic bowls - the kind you might find at your auntie's house. It looks like a $12.50 portion of phở. The broth tasted very clean and a bit underdeveloped. It lacked the rich body phở flavor, which might have explained why the restaurant was void of any aromatic phở smell. I guess if you leave the restaurant smelling squeaky fresh, there's a little something missing in that phở broth. Broth aside, they give you a generous portion of meat - though I didn't love the enormity of my flank slices. The phở was just good enough to satiate my craving, but not good enough to woo me back for another bowl. The menu offers a wide array of traditional Vietnamese dishes, so I may be back for that.q

    37. Fried Rice Combo with Shrimps, Beef and Chicken
    Arturo P.

I've been coming here for a great taste of pho ever since I was a kid! The fried rice and egg rolls are also very delicious! I usually get the combo fried rice and then we get the 6 egg rolls because the price for them is not bad at all and they are sort of long, so if you cut them in half its like you got 12! The staff have always been very attentive and kind. I hope they continue to thrive and definitely recommend giving a try if you're looking for a decent local spot for Pho!

A local gem! Small mom and pop shop. Their rice dishes are good, pho is just okay. Staff is kind. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Highly recommended!

I used to go here all the time but haven't gone in a while, the quality is still the same. I get the pho with rare steak and a side of egg rolls. Pho was nice and hot and broth was delicious, they put a lot of noodles as well. I usually finish all the noodles first then the broth but today it was the complete opposite, I finished my broth before my noodles, it's pretty plentiful. Egg rolls are a must! It comes with lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, radish, and cilantro with a fish sauce dipping sauce. All the vegetables are fresh and crunchy! We are greeted when we come in and get seated immediately, also food comes out FAST! less than 5 minutes of ordering we get our pho already, I kid you not it was so fast. I always enjoy the music they play too, it's instrumental peaceful music, I enjoy eating my meal with good music. Servers don't check up on you but they are friendly.

    I love the fortune here

If you're looking for a neighborhood pho spot that is quick, attentive, and friendly then this is the spot for you. I've been here 3x in one week. Originally i stopped by because I was craving a Vietnamese sandwich, chicken banh mi IYKYK. It looks like a lil whole in the wall so I thought this could lowkey be a hidden gem, and it was! When you walk in they smile at you, ask if you're dining in or out, and are just ready to feed your soul. The ambiance is rather casual, giving a historic feel. Based on the consistent traffic in and out this place I can tell they've been feeding the souls of Long Beach for a while. If you never tried a banh mi sandwich I highly recommend try the chicken one here and the beef broth and noodle pho. I'm so grateful this spot is local because I will be back again and again! Bonus: the ice here is so perfect for my ice lovers

Parking wasn't too bad since there's a good amount of street parking nearby. There's a bit of a wait, especially on the Sunday I went, but Yelp waitlist makes it much better. It's quite small inside, so very understandable. The menu is quite extensive, with a selection of noodle soups and pan fried noodles. We got the chicken student noodles, which came out rather quickly. I loved the texture of the noodles, as they had that bounciness to them. Portions are big and totally worth it to share among the table. Highly recommend this!
