This place is okay. Lots of Yelp reviews for this place are accurate. The flavor of the broth is good and we like it but that's about it. I got the #1 combo regular and it's such a small bowl, okay meat quantity but the quality is just so so. But, the service is so nice though and there are plenty of free parking, which is a huge plus for LB! My coworkers and I ate here for lunch today because it was rainy and cold and it definitely satisfied our cravings for tasty healthy beef noodle soup. Prob great if you crave for it on a day like this. Takes cards.

If you're craving pho, this is the spot! The broth at New Pho Ok is hands down the best I've ever had -- super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can truly taste the time and passion that goes into every bowl. The ingredients are always fresh, and the portions leave you completely satisfied. This place has been around for a very long time and has definitely earned its reputation -- even voted Best Vietnamese Cuisine in 2021! The service is always friendly and quick, making every visit a great experience. I can't wait to come back for another bowl. Highly recommend for any pho lovers out there! . and their tea is out of this world they gave me two teas to go !!! thank you

Was craving chicken pho and was glad to find a spot that serves chicken thigh with the bone in. I find it a lot more flavorful than your typical chicken breast pho. And the nice lady working gave me a free fruit. Also is Cambodian owned, so I'm glad to support my people!

R3. Took half of it home. Good portions and greens to help after a cruise.

Coming off a 4 day cruise, the guys wanted some home cooked pho before going home. We came upon this establishment after the primary location we were going to was closed. I can't speak for the others but I ordered the R3. I would so a disservice to try and put the name down. Portion was generous. The business was owned by a really nice couple who was waiting for us since we got off the boat around 8am. One of our buddies called ahead and said party of 9! Old school feel to the restaurant. Fit the vibe and the food.

There's a large parking lot to the side of the restaurant and the servers are welcoming. I ordered a Thai iced tea and bun vermicelli with pork, shrimp and eggrolls while hubby had pho with chicken and shrimp. It was satisfying and portions were good but the flavors were okay. Best taste was the Thai iced tea and homey atmosphere!

Needed a quick bite around Long Beach and decided to give this place a try. They have a parking lot next to the restaurant, so parking is not an issue. The decor is very basic and simple. I presume the couple on the floor are the owners. They are really nice and friendly. We just ordered two bowls of pho, the #P1 and #P6. They come in two sizes, regular and large. We went with the regular. P1 is the Dac Biet (special) which has everything including tendon, tripe, brisket, rare meat, meat ball, etc. P6 comes with rare meat and brisket.' The portion size was good, plenty of noodles and meat. The broth was tasty and didn't seem to have a lot of MSG. At least I didn't feel thirsty after eating. Prices are really reasonable. It's nothing fancy but pretty solid for a bowl of reasonably priced pho.

My first time here was almost 10 years ago, and I came back today having an amazing experience. The broth was delicious and the owners were extremely sweet. The husband and wife who own the place were very accommodating and gave us some free bananas and some spices to go. They are extremely generous and if these were my parents, I'd be so proud to have such hardworking and kind parents!

Great price and also the food is good and the owners are really nice and attentive. Their pho is really good and good for hangovers

My friend and I shared a variety of dishes: -Student Noodle: If chow mein and pad thai had a baby, this would be that dish. Without the fish sauce, the noodles tasted like chow mein. This dish overall was good! While I would still opt for pad thai, the noodle texture was good and I enjoyed the flavors. We got this with crispy pork and it was tasty, but I wish it was crispier. I liked how it wasn't too fatty. -Fish Amok: It did not look like the picture, but the dish was still good. It was a sweet fish curry which was sweet from the coconut milk. This was tasty and the fish was soft. It wasn't fishy at all. This paired well with the rice. I would still opt for a savory curry though. -Beef Skewers: These were yummy and I enjoyed the charred flavor of these! The flavor was very similar to Filipino skewers. I liked how even the fatty parts were enjoyable. Steamed Rice: Fluffy and not mushy which I liked. It came served in this cute rice bucket which preserved the heat of it. The restaurant was decorated nicely and was pretty clean. Bathrooms available which were also clean. The service was good and attentive. There's lots of free parking in the lot in front. Overall, a solid Cambodian restaurant that's worth checking out in the Long Beach area!

Originally, we were going to try to hit up Zuzu's petal, but the line was ridiculously long and the parking was a nightmare, so I decided to take her to my 2nd choice, which was Kin Long. I thought it would be a run-of-the-mill local, Thai place with food that is more homestyle and tastes slightly above average to hit the Thai food fix. Boy, was I wrong! First and foremost, they have their own parking lot, so YAY! It's starting to sound like my standards are low, but they aren't. OMG- their restroom is clean! JK. From the outside, it looked nice enough, but I was impressed when we entered. It had a comfy, modern, clean, and beachy elegance to it (the lights and that chandelier) without it being stuffy or looking disjointed in terms of interior decor. Servers were very polite and accommodating. I let my friend order since she was the guest. She ordered the garlic shrimp noodles and scampi shrimp to share, and the Thai tea drink with the ice cream bar. I ordered 3 cocktails (Jalapeno + tamarind, Lychee, and Thai tea martini) and they were all good (not overly sweet and weak sauce, but balanced, tasty, and had the right amount of buzz). We had a light lunch since we had AYCE hot pot later that evening (Mikiya - yes I'm a good host). The garlic noodles exceeded my expectations - shrimp were huge, seasoned well, and just cooked through, the noodles were broad, float, tender, and had a slight chewiness to it. The scampi shrimp were huge, tasty, succulent, and cooked perfectly (not surprised since the shrimp with the garlic noodles were so good). NOTHING WAS OVERCOOKED OR MADE ME GO.... "MEH...." and I've been to many Thai restaurants even the highly stylized kitschy ones like Farmhouse Thai in SF. The waiters were very attentive. They made their rounds to make sure waters were filled and all guests were taken care of. It helps they were also handsome too! LOL. I generally find many places nice in the competitive LA, but not nice enough for me to travel from the SGV. However, I will go out of my way to visit KL again to try the rest of their menu (drunken noodles, pork jerky, crab fried rice, papaya salad, etc.) because they left a good impression with me. Prices are reasonable and the quality of food, cocktails, clean restrooms, ambiance was coastal modern, has its own designated parking lot, and service was lovely.

I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

Walk inside and--on this Saturday, January 3rd--it's still decorated for Christmas, which somehow adds to the cozy, unpretentious vibe. It's around 2:30 p.m. and the place is packed, which is always a great sign. We ordered the chicken pho with ginger sauce and the brisket & rare steak pho. You get the classic sides--lime, bean sprouts, basil--and we also added the crispy egg rolls, which came out hot and crunchy with a satisfying bite. The pho arrived piping hot, deeply aromatic, and comforting in that way only a well-made broth can be. They give you chopsticks for the noodles and a large spoon for the soup--exactly how it should be. The portions are generous, especially for the price. Around $12 gets you a big, steaming bowl that feels like a full meal, not a tease. The broth is clean, rich, and balanced--not greasy, not salty--perfect for a cold, rainy Long Beach day on the Cambodia side of town. I took my time with it, savoring all the layers of flavor, especially after adding sriracha and hoisin (which is absolutely the move here). The beef was tender, the rare steak cooked perfectly in the hot broth, and the noodles held up all the way through. What really stood out was the atmosphere. There's mellow, calming music playing in the background that makes the whole lunch experience feel peaceful and grounding--no rush, no noise chaos, just people enjoying good food. Come hungry. They give you a lot of food, and it's the kind of meal that's hard to stop eating even when you're full. The staff seemed very short-handed -- only three people working on a busy day. The kids were clearly trying their best (the daughter especially was multitasking hard) but they looked exhausted and the son came out in casual clothes and sandals like he'd just rolled out of bed. The dad had very poor customer service and seemed checked out, which made the whole experience feel unwelcoming. There were awkward moments when he took our orders. The biggest issue was the soup itself. It didn't taste like traditional pho -- something was off with the broth -- and unfortunately none of us could finish our bowls. We didn't say anything because we could see they were struggling. I hope this family can get proper staffing, train on customer service, and improve the kitchen consistency. With some adjustments, this place could really thrive. Right now though, I probably won't be returning
