    the interior of a restaurant

This is one for the best places I know. The food is always delicious and served with love. The quality and quantity of the food is just superb. I love that it's a small business owned by a loving family and they got the big ole fish tank in the restaurant , you know it's going to be good. Service is always great never a dull moment in eating here!

The pho here was delicious but not the best broth I've ever had. I do have to say, the noodles were cooked to perfection but the meat pieces were so big and rubbery it ruined the experience. I had to remove all the meat to be able to enjoy my pho. Family owned business so they have kiddos working at the restaurant and I personally found it super cute. He was so kind and respectful, I had a blast! Will definitely be back!

Such a good find! Pho and pork banh mi were excellent. It's quaint and homey inside and the service was so good. We can't wait to go back and try something new too

    Vegetable Pho to go.

I walked in and ordered the vegetable pho to go. The owner was nice and offered me water while I waited. It looked like maybe they had just finished an early lunch rush. There were a few tables with half eaten food and no other people in there ‍. Anyway, it took about 5-7 minutes until my order was ready. I have had vegetable pho one other place and it was delicious, so I was very excited to try Pho Lotus. I put all the ingredients together when I got home. The broth was really good. The veggies were fresh. I do wish there was a little more tofu for the price ($16) and more cilantro (love cilantro). Overall, I would eat here again.

    All the things !

This little mom-and-pop pho spot is an absolute gem! It's family-run, and you can really feel the warmth and care in both the service and the food. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We tried several dishes and were blown away. The orange chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful--seriously one of the best I've had. The chicken Pad Thai was spot on, with just the right balance of sweet and savory. Both the chicken and beef pho were rich, aromatic, and came in huge portions--definitely come hungry! If you're looking for amazing food made with love and generous servings, this is the place. We'll definitely be back!

Never actually ended up eating here. Absolutely filthy dirty.. There is no excuse for not cleaning your restaurant.. Check out their health inspection report from June, 2023. 8 big violations.

We were in the area and decided to try out the nearest pho spot. Walking into pho lotus, we were greeted by the friendliest staff. We ordered steak pho, fried rice, and a appetizer sampler. Everything was great! The pho broth surprised us it was very flavorful. Some of our favorite pho we've tried! Everything we ate was really yummy. The ambiance is nice and chill. The super friendly staff made us feel very welcome and we will definitely be coming back here again!

The food was probably one of the best take out pho I have eaten. Was craving pho and decided to order take out. I usually don't like take out pho because they are bland but this place was actually pretty good. Their spring rolls were a bit small for what the price was but overall great taste and flavor.

Purchased a bowl of soup for ~$15 which should have been $12 in cash before taxes. When I asked about the cash price, the worker said $15 is the cash price. I went back and forth with the worker about the signs saying "pay cash save $3" but she kept asking me to check her math. She said if it was card it would be an extra $3. I told her that a credit card fee (that's not stated anywhere) is not the same as saving $3 in cash. When I asked for the cash back to pay with card she refused to give me the cash back. When I asked her to show me how she would charge the extra $3 she didn't know how (makes me believe she was lying over the cash price being lower). Overall the food is decent but I can get good soup at plenty of other places and not be lied to and robbed by their staff.

I was a little taken back by that charge, but I get people are trying to take care of the credit card fees. Just know this before going in. Other than that, read on. Being stranded in a hotel with no transportation leaves. You limited options for food. Lucky for me, there were a couple restaurants on the street. I had seen this place, but noted that it was only open Thursday through Sunday. So it was my lucky day to go there on a Thursday. From the street, the place doesn't look like much. It's located in a strip mall, with just a lonely sign at the top, and a couple of stone lions out front. Front. I really wasn't sure what to expect. But reading on Yelp The rave reviews that it got gave me hope for a great meal! Walking inside, the place is neat as a pin, very clean, with plenty of seating. Beer bar at the back of the room and a couple of TVs on the walls. The decor is very contemporary, and looks up to date. I had ordered a Thai iced tea and a water to start with. I was brought a plastic bottle of water and my Thai iced tea in a plastic cup. Not quite the restaurant experience I am used to, but you know what? It was. Okay. The Thai iced tea was very tasty and I could have drank at least three more of them. I had ordered the chicken wings, and of course I had to order them extra crispy. You get six wings, three drums and three flats, with some sauce on the plate for $12.99. for $12.99. they did not seem like they were extra crispy., and the breading on the wings I really couldn't identify. It seemed like it might be panko crumbs, but I wasn't really sure. Regardless, they were tasty. Were they the best ones I've ever had? No they were not. But they were pretty good for the price. I wish they would have put the sauce in a separate bowl on the side so that I could actually dunk the chicken wing in it rather than sort of wipe the plate with it, but that's just a small thing. I ordered the number 19 which was sliced steak in broth with rice noodles. The broth was really amazing, and the sliced steak was medium rare, and allowed to cook in the hot broth. The flavors were so good. So good. I actually drank all of the broth. Bottom line? I would totally hear again, there were so many things on the menu that I would have loved to try but did not get a chance to. If you are ever off main Street in Mesa, you would do well to come here for a nice, warm fine filling meal.

When our grandsons and their Dad came by later that day, I asked them if they were willing to try Vietnamese food. One grandson didn't come along as he has a part-time job and had to work that day. Once we all entered the restaurant, we were greeted and seated. I ordered my usual Pho Ga and my husband plus our son-in-law also had the same thing. One grandson ordered a Pho that had beef in it. The other grandson isn't a fan of soups so he ordered a fried rice and chicken meal. The Pho portion was very generous and the aromatics were fresh. Everyone who had Pho enjoyed their meal. Our grandson, who got the chicken and fried rice, liked his meal. The ambiance is that of a casual place with some artwork on the walls. If we lived nearby, we would gladly go here again. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

I can't put my finger on it but the herbs kinda helped mask it. The brisket itself was delicious and tender. The banh khot was decent as expected. Some parts were crispy but others weren't. It was missing a "wow" factor. The canh chua was my favorite. It was huge! Overall, all the portions are pretty big here, which sorta makes up for the prices. An old man who was serving us realized we were Vietnamese and spoke to us. He was really sweet and funny. Overall, I wouldn't order the pho and banh khot again because they weren't that good to me. I also noticed they add a lot of noodles which I love but I also wish they added more broth. The meat is also very tender, I always go with the brisket and it always tastes great. I personally like my soup to have extra green onion, unfortunately if you do ask for extra there is a charge of $2.
