We have been here a few times in the past. Not sure why they feel that it's ok to charge an automatic 18% gratuity for a table of 4. Never mentioned it or saw any sign posted. I was giving another tip when realized there was no place for it to write in and then I saw the fee. Honestly, the service we received did not deserve an 18% charge. Brought us our food and drink. Never said a word to us or asked if we needed a refill. Disappointing.. The tipping is out of control but this brought it over the top. I will find me another place. read more

I was researching on Yelp to see where would be a good place for my eldest daughter and I to eat for lunch after a fun morning of non-stop 3+ hours indoor pickleball play at Pickleball Kingdom in Chandler, AZ. I came across a Vietnamese restaurant by the name of unPhogettable and of course, they specialize in Pho. I thought the name of the business was very cute so I had to entertain it LOL. Upon entry, there was no other customer in this restaurant at the time. I think they just opened 30 minutes prior. Anyway, it's a good size restaurant with lots of tables/chairs... you wouldn't be able to tell by the look from the outside, but it's quite spacious inside. We were greeted immediately. After checking out the menu, I decided to try their Bun Rieu which basically is a tomato based crab meat noodle soup. My daughter got their Pho Dac Biet with extra veggies on the side. I also got 1 Soda Chanh... Vietnamese lime soda. Bun Rieu was huge in portion. Its soup was tasty, but it wasn't piping hot. The soup was kind of lukewarm. I like my soup hot. Lots of great ingredients in it though. Love the crab meat and veggies... they were very fresh. Soda Chanh was good. My daughter liked her Pho Dac Biet bowl... soup was savory with lots of steak slices. I ate most of the side of veggies. Staff was okay. Prices were a tad higher than expected, but then again, they can be justified by the huge portions IMHO. Please note they said tips are not necessary. However, they impose a 15% service charge to all dine-in orders to better serve the customers and support their kitchen & floor staff. Honestly, that's just another form of tip. It's all good. They are very expensive, and when they served me the food the wrong food, they offered no apology and served me with soggy noodles, by time my family members finished their meals. Then they charge fixed service charge! The entire experience was horrible and I will never go back there. The staffs need to learn some common sense! read more

This Vietnamese restaurant was definitely phogettable, I'm from Tucson and my family and I like to visit the area because of the Asian influence. Idk if it's because the owners are from a region in Vietnam where they like sweet broth but the pho and bun rieu broth was very sweet. My bun rieu, had lots of crabmeat but hardly any noodles and on top of the noodles were broken up to where you really didn't need chopsticks. There was also a surprise 15% service charge as well which because of the service with traditional Vietnamese restaurants, the tip does not warrant that due to the type of service we usually receive. Fist time coming here. My family and I are I big fans of pho. The had the #1 house special I had the Bun Bo Hue, they were both really good in particular the Bun Bo Hue. A $9.45 service fee is added for EACH diner. We asked about this and our server told us it was the gratuity. I Just want to ensure people are aware, since we were not. And we have been coming here for years. As in through several owners years! I personally believe they should label this as gratuity included to all orders. The chicken pho was exactly what I was craving, nice and hot soup, light on the stomach and seasoned just right. I ordered the Kid/Senior Bowl and it was a good size for someone who doesn't eat much. My daughter had the meatball pho which is her favorite. She said it was so tasty and the broth was perfect! We also shared a fresh tofu roll with peanut sauce and it was delish! She apologized about the wait and said it's because they're busy. She went in to the kitchen to check on the order and came right out with it. The food here is so fresh and delicious! Also, the owners seem to be completely invested and concerned with each individual experience. I like to get the Pho ray cai and generally substitute the the noodles for more vegetables. The broth here is delicious and the service is always on point. Unphogettable is a middle of the road pho restaurant in Chandler, AZ. Having tried various pho places around the valley, the food here was a little lackluster compared to the Cali style pho and neighborhood places we've visited. Pros: - The sauces were on the table and ready to use. This includes hoisin, sriracha, and chili oil (I love a good chili oil in my pho). - The sauce containers were also on the table, which is convenient for the dippers. - The chopsticks were solid reusable ones, not the throwable wood ones. Cons: - It's empty. Being next to LeeLee's I would have expected more people. - The noodles are mushy. I don't know if they pre-cooked them or they aren't quality, but mushy noods are not it. - Someone mentioned you don't tip here. That's because you're charged a service fee for dining. 12.5% exactly. Ambience: - If your tastes runs along cafeteria chic with an Asian flair, this is the place for you. It was an experience in trying something new and I'm glad we did. read more

The spring rolls were large and very healthy tasting, the sauce that came with it was a little sweet for me but added much needed flavor to the spring rolls. Went out on a limb and tried this place with the family. The place is definitely friendly for large families. The tables and spacing is nice especially if you have little kids. Service was overall good. Waitress kept coming back to check on us and make sure we were doing good. The pho was good. Broth was flavorful and had a lot of meat. I will say the pho I ordered though I didn't like some of the meat parts and the meat was really tough. Wish they would've gave some more onions and some cilantro but otherwise it was decent. Half-day school for the kids and I decided not to do the norm and expose them to something different. We decided to walk around our favorite plaza nearby and the final choice was un-Pho-gettable as the kids were looking to try something new. The staff was welcoming and the manager invited the kids to try '2 lemonade Chandon's... basically lemonade and sparkling water. We went with the DBBV Pho which had a variety of meat along with the HaiSan which had some shrimp balls and other seafood items. The overall flavor of the pho was good with tender noodles, however, I wish there was a little bit more choice meat to compliment it. We were hungry so we were looking for some protein!! They have TVs on opposite sides of the restaurants in case you need some visual stimulation. The main dining room area is actually inviting and the closeness of the tables makes it feel more like a family-style. Had 2 Soda Chandon's ($8), Pho DBBV, Pho HaiSan ($12), Chao Cuon spring roll with shrimp & chicken wings. Pho was good but not as filling as expected... hence the appetizers.
