This is the best Pho in Nb but don't take it too seriously! It's decent pho but for sure not the best I have had. The broth is ok but the kind of meat they use has too much fat. In last week we have eaten here 3 times and it is delicious. I would give it 4.5 stars. The reason I cannot give it 5 is because every time we order (take out) they get something wrong. They have messed up at least one item but funny thing is it is all so good it isn't a bad thing. We have has the vermicelli and lemon grass beef, the binh mah , the steak salad dish, regular egg rolls and the spring rolls. Everything was good Prices were great as well. Less than $5 for a delicious sandwich?? I guarantee the other Asian food places in NB are going to have issues now. Taipei Express and Stan are much more expensive and not as good. This was such a good place! I enjoyed eating my General Joes Chicken (which was absolutely amazing)! The egg rolls are amazing, and I don't usually like egg rolls. The soup I had was also sooooo good! The service was excellent, I ordered my food and got it in less than fifteen minutes, and it was probably the best Vietnamese food I've ever had. The service was also continuous and therefore made it a lot easier when needing something and wasn't too insistent either. The employees where always there when needed and where both delightful and rather funny and didn't act like robots (which was very comforting). I didn't have any problems with Pho NB and will definitely be back, this is my new suggestion place for food. I'm glad I went. read more

So glad we decided to try this place. First of all the service is super fast and everyone was friendly. Even though it's a new restaurant they did a great job decorating and feels very comfortable inside. I had their Pho Nam which was great, had lots of flavour and the noodles were cooked just right. They also gave me a really good amount of veggies to put in my soup which I appreciate. My fiance got their orange chicken and it was really good, the sauce was perfect. Finally tried Pho NB and I wasn't disappointed. Had the Pho chicken noodle soup. It comes out of the kitchen pretty bland but they give you plenty of basil and sauces to spice it up to your taste. The whole family enjoyed their meals. We also ordered egg rolls and broccoli and rice. All very good. Will be back! Yum! read more

Best Vietnamese restaurant in New Braunfels! Delicious, fresh food. Very kind & friendly staff. I've tried other Vietnamese restaurants in the surrounding areas but find myself returning to Pho NB. Truly enjoy dining here often. My favorites are the grilled pork Bánh mì sandwich it's perfectly marinated grilled pork, fresh baguette and crisp fresh vegetables. Their Vietnamese egg rolls always cooked to order as well and come out piping hot & fresh paired with the fish sauce. Mmm...So tasty! read more

I had the seafood pho, it was good. Portion of seafood to liquid was decent, wish there was more veggies and seafood. The family had sesame seed chicken, lemon chicken and 'joes' chicken. The chicken pieces were good. But the lemon chicken and sesame chicken pieces were the shaped the same and the coating were the same... should they look different. Service was slow on drinks, refills and obtaining the check, but they were busy. Will we return, yes , are they the best? Nope. Horrible place to eat! Food looked totally disgusting! We told the manager that we were not satisfied and she was extremely rude and told us that our dishes were the most popular and that we should be satisfied. As a manager of a restaurant I know that you don't ever treat customers like that. We did pay for our wonton soup and drinks and they said they couldn't give us a receipt?? I don't understand why they couldn't print us a receipt. I'm guessing Its because of the unprofessional manager. Don't waste your time or money here. Go else where! read more

I had the vermicelli bowl. The entire meal was bland at best. Fish sauce had a complete lack of flavor. Very disappointed as I had heard good reviews. This is just boxed Vietnamese food. I've been here many times since they opened and stuck mainly to the Pho, Bahn Mi, Spring Rolls, and Bo Luc Lac (Shaken Beef) which is my favorite. I order that with the fried rice most of the time. The beef is perfectly marinated, tender, and has great flavors. They know fried rice as well. The Pho is the best I've had in NB. The Banh Mi is avg imo. Always good service. Pho NB had great reviews so me and my wife decided to order dinner from them. The food looked delicious until you put it in your mouth, no flavor to the Sauce description. We ordered "fried rice " we got what tasted like steamed white rice with orange food coloring added! Also got a side of Egg drop soup and wonton soup, The egg drop soup had corn kernels and peas which made it taste like creamed corn and split pea soup mixed together, and the wonton soup Tasted like three day old beef broth warmed up in the microwave! So many mediocre Vietnamese restaurants in and in between Austin and SA. This place is awesome and much like my favorites in Houston's Chinatown and the burbs of HTown. When Pho Nb first opened the food was fresh, delicious and full of color, but now that a few months have passed I'd have to say it is all quite the opposite. I loved their vermicelli, the hot noodles were thin cooked to compliment your choice of protein that sat on top while your dish of crisp fresh greens (chopped lettuce, cucumber and bean sprouts) sat on the side for you to add at your leisure, and the most amazing sauce was poured over the dish to bring it all together. You used to wonder how you would finished it all it was such a large portion mainly dominated by the protein that filled just about every bite. Now while the dish is still large it is more noodles that are thick and flavorless served over your vegetables of only Lettuce and cucumber that wilt since they are now at the bottom of the bowl with half the portion of protein on top and the sauce on the side. The dish looks more like a bowl of slop and tastes like it to. With the over cooked cold thick noodles that turn to mush in your mouth, the wilted soggy greens and few scraps of meat that you have to hunt for in between bites. This dish is only made better by the sauce that give it its flavor. This restaurant has only been open a few months and already they are cutting corners to find a cheaper way to make their dishes while still charging you their original price. I could tell my usually hot food had been made first and left to get cold while sitting and waiting on my dates order of orange chicken that was piping hot. I had such high hopes for this restaurant as New Braunfels needed a little diversity, but if cutting corners and serving cold dishes at 2:30 in the after noon when the rush is over and your two of the 8 people in the restaurant, then I will pass and take my business elsewhere. read more

This is one of the tastiest places to eat in all of New Braunfels! I always get the sesame chicken which never disappoints and my husband goes back and forth with different types of Pho. So excited we now have a Pho place in NB, and PHO NB does not dissapoint. The broth was clean and tasty and their shrimp egrolls were delicious. Best Vietnamese place in New Braunfels hands down. You want incredibly fast service and delicious fresh food come to pho Nb. We have never had a bad dish here. We usually get the clay hot pot and the charbroiled pork but we have ordered at one time or another pretty much every Vietnamese dish from them without dissatisfaction. Cannot comment on the Chinese dishes as we have never ordered them. Great prices as well -- have been to other places where the prices are double for some of the same food. read more
