First time here, my brother brags about this place, so time to try. I liked that there wasn't a line, good amount of space. Clean, open, cute. Service was fast, no wait at all. Prices were decent. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, with fried rice and my soup was wonton soup, my mean came with an egg roll. The chicken was great and amazing! The egg roll was so good. Hot and juicy. The fried rice....noooo way! Not good in give that a 1 star. It was dry, and no flavor. Over all it was good and I do recommend it off your wanting quick Asian food

Bahn Mi was really good! I wish it was bigger for the price. Staff was super friendly!

My mom and I wanted to try a new Pho place, and this place was great. Good customer service. We never went thirsty, someone was always making sure we had water. The food came out decently quick as well and was fresh! We got the Spring Rolls, they were delicious. Although I forgot to take a photo! We also both got the Beef Brisket Pho, I added Tofu to mine. The portions were unexpectedly HUGE. My mom maybe finished half, I have a bigger appetite but still couldn't finish mine completely. The restaurant itself was clean, and I liked the glass waterfall in the entry way. Would definitely come back! My mom is already wanting to!

Pho NB is our go to for pho in New Braunfels! It is everything you expect for a Vietnamese restaurant - the service is super fast, the broth is hot, and they will take your order very quickly. Whether you are dining in or ordering take out, the quality is good and you know what you will be getting. The broth is not too sweet, not too salty, and not too heavy cinnamon flavor. The spring rolls and egg rolls are classic and delicious. The chicken fried rice is good too. The Com Suon Nuong (Charcoal Broiled Pork Chops rice plate) is also pretty good but the pork chop pieces are more rectangular chunks that the flank style I was expecting. The Bahn Mis are pretty decent as well. Pho NB would get the classic Asian restaurant 3.5 stars (meaning they are the real deal) but Yelp doesn't give half stars.

The most authentic Vietnamese place in the area that I've found so far. We've been here about five times and even my Vietnamese mother approved of this place. Their egg rolls are super yummy and crispy. Also a great price and their veggies are always fresh. Their pho is good. Recently tried their bun thit nuong and the meat was very tasty. My husband got the rice plate with egg, pork and shredded pork and said his plate was really good. The chicken banh mi was good but could be better. It didn't have pate in it and I want to say it didn't have the Vietnamese mayo. I think the sandwich is Americanized so not super authentic but meat was good. Also their combination fried rice was okay. Again, more like Americanized fried rice. I saw on their menu they have Chinese dishes like beef broccoli, orange chicken, etc. but I feel like they really shine with their Vietnamese dishes.

V2 vermicelli bowl with pork and egg rolls. Half eaten. So good!!

Ask the Community - Pho NB

Did Pho NB open up any new restaurants in the New Braunfels area? I heard there was a new one open near, with someone claiming that it's part of the original restaurant.

No, Pho NB has not opened any new restaurants in the New Braunfels area. I've visited the original Pho NB location and spoken with the management, who confirmed that they currently operate only one location in the area.

We started we boba and it was decent for the price it was. We then ordered the shaken beef and it was nothing like owner photos which is misleading customers. The shaken beef had tiny nubs of poor quality beef, over 70% was veggies and it was sauced as if it was broccoli beef. It tasted okay at best but please don't market this as shaken beef. My wife ordered lemon grass beef vermicelli noodles they hosed the lemongrass after cooking it was unpleasant to eat as well. Maybe we messed up and should have got Pho? But why have subpar dishes in your restaurant... Oh last thing they have robots that bring out food from the kitchen but the waitress follows it and then serves you. It was awkward and unnecessary. Focus on good food and you'll have happy customers.

A dependable and casual spot in Kyle if you're looking for a wide range of Asian dishes under one…read moreroof. I've been here multiple times and tried quite a bit off the menu: baos, bánh mì, bun bo hue, vermicelli, lo mein, pad thai, General Tso's, and rice plates. Everything has been typically solid, though nothing particularly standout. The flavors overall are a bit on the mild side, especially in the soups and meats, but the variety makes it a good choice if you're dining with a group or just want a casual, no-frills meal. It's kind of a "jack of all trades" menu with Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese options. One thing I do appreciate: they're very accommodating with substitutions and custom orders, and the service is always friendly. It can run a bit slow if the place is busy, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, not a destination spot, but a good local option when you want something convenient, comforting, and customizable.
