New Braunfels finally has a Pho place! I have only been once so far so and the server was slow but they just opened so I expected that and it did not bother my group. I can't wait to go again and try more options - I just had the "normal" Pho soup. read more

Great spot for Pho in New Braunfels! They are very friendly and the service is extremely fast. Really good broth and the meat cuts are perfect. They've got great crispy rolls too and they make a legit Vietnamese iced coffee as well where the espresso percolates into the class at your table. read more

Absolutely horrible service and horrible food tonight. As soon as my friend and i walked in we felt the judgement right away. We ordered the pho and a rice plate and i asked one question and the lady with the curly hair answered as if i didnt know anything and that i was stupid. On top of that, there was a HAIR in the food. To management- please teach your waitress to have a better attitude and less judgment towards people. Also, to the guy at the cash register, i didnt know that i had a huge tattoo on my forehead that said "stare at me". The entire time that my friend and I were there, the curly haired lady and the man kept on staring. This is really ridiculous. I will not come here again, worst experience i have ever had. read more

We have been here 3 times already, and it's still technically "soft open", which I think is amazing! My friend from work and I went the second day it was open. It was an off time (like 3pm) and it was steady people coming in. We shared some Vietnames egg rolls, which were so tasty! We both got a brisket pho and hot tea. We also got one of those jelly coconut milk desserts with the sweet beans. It's was all so tasty! The second time I came, it was just me and my husband and he got a rice noodle dish with char broiled pork. I got pho again... still great! The third time was with my daughter and her boyfriend( and his parents have already been here 3 times too) This time my husband got Vietnamese specialty and the kids got chicken pho, and I stuck to my standard beef brisket pho again... and again, still amazing! We have so far only tried the Vietnamese food, but their Chinese and Vietnamese is epic, so maybe I'll come back and try something else.. but then again, the pho has been amazing all three times so we'll just have to see! read more

My husband heard about this place from someone who I wouldn't normally take their advice, but I was trying to be a great is sport and I am soooooo glad I did!!!! It was amazing!!! We got there around 11 on a Saturday and it was packed. It continued to get busier Bc this place is really THAT food!!! I got #2 on the menu, which was basically a Pho beef. Simple name for a complex dish!! The broth was amazing and the meat was cooked to perfection! My husband got the meatball pho (can't remember the exact name) and it was great too!! The wait staff answered all of my annoying questions with knowledge, patience, and interest!!! We started off with a hot and sour soup. I wish we would have been more adventurous Bc once I started looking around the spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and the dumplings looked amazing!!! I am nosy when I go to new places and ask everyone what they got and what they think and everyone was gracious and gave glowing reviews!! This is a good place to eat if you are craving for authentic vietnamese food or just want to try something different. I had the rice noodle soup with assortment of beef which is very delicious! The broth is flavorful and not too oily. Their Vietnamese spring roll is also good to try. I had charbroiled chicken over rice twice. I really wanted to like this place, the waitress was great, but the food was awful. I ordered Curry Goat with fried rice. They charged me $2.00 extra for the fried rice, I had no problem with that until they brought over a bowl of rice with No vegetables at all. The other waitress says "oh the one with vegetables cost more" how the hell you're going to charge me more for plain rice????? But that ain't all. I ordered fried spring rolls to go!!! OMG got home opened the order it was RANCENT SMELLED AWFUL. SMELLED LIKE OLD OLD STUFF THAT HAS BEEN SITTING BACK THERE FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG. They Will Never Get Any More Business from me. I'm very happy New Braunfels finally got a pho house. The first day I tried it was so chaotic I ended up leaving because they forgot my order. I tried them a few days later and the ordering went smoothly. Honestly the broth was a bit weak compared to other pho houses I eat at. Same flavor as must, just a bit watery. Maybe it's a matter of breaking in the pots they make the broth in. The meat tasted great, the noodles were great. Will definitely go again.update: the pho has gotten much better. So excited to give this new restaurant 5 stars ! Noticed immediately it was clean and bright as we were sat quickly. I am originally from Houston and love vietnamese food. (One of my favorites. So happy to see a pho resturant open in New Braunfels. Too bad for me though, after finding out they wouldn't serve half orders on Vietnamese eggrolls or Spring rolls. I'd already ordered my Pho as an entrée. What am I going to do with 6 eggrolls and 2 spring rolls and then have room for my Pho. My husband and had lunch there today. Sooo good! Large menu, but not daunting. Good variety. He had a pho- big portion, I tasted the broth, really tasty. I had the beef noodles. It was delicious! Great sauce, good cuts of meat, lots of broccoli. Definitely going back!! read more

My family and l were excited to try this place out, when we went it was rather packed this was at about 4pm on a Wednesday. My first impression was it must be good! We took a seat and ordered our drinks but our server took awhile to take out orders meanwhile another party that showed up maybe 10-15 minutes after us got their order taken before us. No big deal, we still waited thinking since they just opened up not too long ago things must not be down to the T right now. When our server came to take our orders she was sweet and polite. Pho was good, but shrimp fried rice could've been better given that it's such an easy dish to make. Reason l'm giving 3 stars is because there's a lady there with short, curly hair that's a little heavy set was so rude made my whole experience very unpleasant. l believe she's the owner, and for that reason l do not think we will be returning or even recommending this to any of our friends and family. read more

I saw this for some time, each time I went to Randolph Brooks, and wondered about it. I had a girlfriend show up who wanted to get dinner, so I suggested this place as close to all of us. It has become a regular Friday or Saturday evening meet-up place, as well as an occasional take out choice. It is always packed and there is a good reason. I have enjoyed every meal as I explore a new cuisine. I have always loved spring rolls in the rice flour wrappers. These are excellent here. I've had the soup bowl a few times and last night I got one of the vermicelli meat dishes. I wish it had more meat, but I think this is healthier food than I have been eating. Have you ever seen a fat Vietnamese? Me either! Must be a clue as to why it seems healthier. I find it interesting that they use many of the herbs used in TexMex, but the results are so different! i'm really picky about pho living in Austin for a long time. its gotten better since the day they opened. i'd give it a B-.
