I love this place because of the best halal pho, and the amazing kind people that work here. I have to say that I lived Westminster California AKA little Sigon. This pho in TX is the same as that in California. As for the kind people. My youngest daughter broke a dish. I was very embarrassed and upset, as for the owners (housband and wife) they told me it's not a big deal and they told my daughters that it's OK when they were young, they broke a lot more dishes then they did. They are very sincere and kind hearted owners, and they truly value not only the customers, but also the community as a whole. I just had thirty minutes for a quick lunch while my friend was getting an mri nearby. Yelp search, thought hmm questionable because the overall rating wasn't that great. Read the reviews! Decided to try it. So Glad I did!!!! This is amazing pork & shrimp vermicelli. I ordered it per my usual extra cucumber & extra cilantro. I liked that it was veggie strong and yet had plenty of grilled pork and lots of shrimp. It wasn't just a noodle dish, it was perfectly balanced. The fish sauce was mild but good. I was surprised that the vermicelli didn't come with at least one eggroll. So, I ordered Eggrolls which had three. They were the best Vietnamese Eggrolls I've ever had. Flavor and filling, they also served them with pickled daikon and carrots. Perfection! Service was great! My alarm went off had to rush back to pick my friend up, I waved, he came right away and brought me to go boxes. The only thing was I wished he brought me a separate sealed container for the fish sauce. The experience was relaxing, The food was excellent, The price was a bit higher than usual but nowadays things are more expensive. I would definitely say I got my money's worth. Horrible experience today and I don't recommend anyone frequent this establishment due to the rude service we received today. We ordered one pho entree, one com sườn nướng, and one bánh bột lọc appetizer. On the menu, the Banh bột lọc appetizer explicitly noted that there would be 20 pieces for $10. When we received our food, we were confused by why there were only 12 pieces of bánh bột lọc on the plate. We mentioned to our server (who was very sweet so no issues with her) that the menu said 20 and we were confused why there were 12. She went to ask someone and came back and told me that they used to make them smaller but since they are bigger now, they only give 15 pieces. I told her there were still only 12 pieces. She apologized and took the plate to the back. Then she came back with a lady who I assume to be the manager who we could tell was pissed as she was very rude and never apologized. She said "Is there a problem here?!" Very rudely. To which we explained our confusion of only getting 12 pieces when it was advertised as 20. She said the menu was old and that they used to make the banh bột lọc smaller and now since they're bigger, there's less. She went and grabbed a menu and rudely pointed at the photo of the Banh Bot loc on the menu and said "see it's bigger". Honestly, I've had a lot of Banh bot loc and the "bigger" ones were very average sized but whatever that's besides the point. I told her we did not get what was advertised. She said fine then if you don't want it, we'll just take it and take it off your bill. At this point my appetite was ruined due to her rudeness so I told her to go ahead and take it. We had been sitting for less than 10 minutes but were so put off by the whole ordeal and how the manager was so rude to me. We didn't want to sit there and be talked about for something that wasn't even our fault. The way she talked to us was as if we did something wrong and was completely unapologetic. We promptly paid our bill and boxed up our barely touched food and left. The waitress was very sweet and I feel like she knew her manager was being unreasonable so 1 star for her. I just feel like if there was a change to what was advertised on the menu we should've been told what to expect when we ordered it and we would've been completely fine with it. There should not have been an attitude when the issue was raised as it was completely their mistake in not saying anything about the menu change. The few bites of food we had were average and I would venture to say below average for the amount of Vietnamese food we have access to in the houston/ Katy area. But maybe that was just the bad taste in my mouth from the rude service read more

In my opinion, their bbh is the best one so far in Houston. The only problem is if they can leave the pork sausage (chả vien) a little bit longer in the broth then it will be perfect . The best Bún Bò Huế in Katy so far, and the Phở broth pretty tasty to my opinion. Staffs are very friendly and attentive. Their prices a bit higher than other places, but Katy rents are high, and I don't have to drive all the way down to Bellaire for some good Vietnamese food. So I guess it's worth it. But honestly the price of it is not worth how skinny they are and only 3 rolls. - Bun Bo hue: it was ok. Good amount of meat in it was good. Other than that, there wasn't anything special about it. - Bun rieu: not that great. Had no flavor depth to it and tasted plain. Asked for mam ruoc to put in it and they gave the tiniest dab. The bowl was ginormous and that little dabble did absolutely nothing to the flavor. In summary, if you're craving viet food, I'd go else where, especially if you don't live near the location. This place was amazing! I had the picanha beef pho with the lychee fruit tea and boba and it was absolutely delicious! The beef pho is 100% halal and tastes amazing! They personally and specifically source their protein from the local markets to ensure absolute quality of their meats in all of their dishes. Tu the server is amazing. She is so kind and very passionate about providing the absolute best service to the entire community. I came here to support this business but was so disappointed. I ordered a bowl of "Well Done Pho" and It has too much MSG and so few paper thin slices of beef. I had to drink so much water right after finishing that bowl of Pho. It is horrible. The prices are extremely and unreasonable expensive. A bowl of "grilled pork/egg roll cold noodle cost $14 dollars. A bowl of pho costs somewhere from $14 - $20 dollars. 3 seafood egg rolls ridiculously costs $9 dollars ($3 each! Boy, was it a huge mistake! 1) The price is simply RIDICULOUS for the portions. 2) I don't mind to pay extra, if the taste warrants the price. I ate lunch here with my co-worker and we both agreed that their Bánh mì Thịt Nướng (Grilled Pork, item S1) is the BEST in Katy. Owner was nice and gave me and my coworker eggroll to try while we waited for take out. The egg roll was good. So it was a good start, got back to office and opened container. Portion looked big, but a lot of vermicelli and salad. Ordered eggroll, grilled sliced pork vermicelli. Meat was very fatty and flavor was ok, not as good as Bamboo Pho.
