Hu Tieu Ap Chao Do Bien
    Ethan L.

My go to order is the Hu Tieu Ap Chao Do Bien (crispy seafood wok fried noodles) and it never disappoints. We were seated and had our orders taken promptly along with our food brought out quickly; however, we waited a while before taking the initiative to approach staff at the register for our check and to-go boxes. There was plenty of seating available and there was no loud music, which was nice to have conversations with my party. This specific location is in in the Kroger plaza but they also have an additional location in Arlington, TX.

The main reason I visit this spot is because my significant other lives out here in Mansfield. My first time at Pho Palace 2, I tried the shaken beef rice plate. While the dish had potential, the flavors were underwhelming and lacked depth. On my second visit, I gave the pho a shot, hoping it'll be better--but it left me with the same impression: decent, but not quite hitting the mark. It's not bad, just not memorable. That said, the service here is solid--quick and efficient--and the restaurant is clean with plenty of seating. If I'm in the area and craving pho, I wouldn't mind stopping by, but it's definitely not my go-to. Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Full sized maggot in food. Still charged us for other 2 meals. I've been coming here since 2013 and they have gone way down hill! STAY AWAY!

Large Pho with fatty brisket and rare beef

Pho Palace 2 is located off of E Broad Street in Mansfield right next to Kroger. The original location is in Arlington off South Collins. Pho Palace serves up many classic Vietnamese dishes such as rice plates, appetizers, and, of course, Pho. We came through on a Friday night where it was crowded with to-go orders of guests coming in to pick up orders as well as diners sitting in for service. They have plenty of seats with booths and tables and also have a restroom on site. We went ahead and ordered the kids' pho with beef, a large pho with rare sliced beef and fatty brisket, and the specialty pho with everything in it, such as all the meats and tripe. The food came out fairly quick and was beautifully presented before our eyes at the table. The broth was looking great with fatty beef bubbles foaming around the base of the soup. They didn't skimp out on the meat and were nicely garnished with thinly sliced white onions, green onions, and finely chopped cilantro. The fresh rice noodles were nestled beneath the piping hot broth and had a great snap back when biting into. I really enjoyed dipping my rare steak and fatty brisket into a mixture of hoison sauce and Sriracha with a squirt of freshly squeezed lime juice. The customer service was nice and attentive and kept our water glasses filled throughout the meal. I really enjoyed our meal, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying something new, such as their broken rice pork chop plates or Vietnamese beef stew.

Bun Bo Hue w/o signature vegie.

Here for the first time for Pho and Bun Bo Hue. It's not for native taste buds, but pretty good. The good: clean, courteous, fast service, good jazz in the background. The taste. Have to ask for special Pho if you wanted. No signature vegie plate for Bun Bo Hue. Can ask for substitution if not wanted pork hooves. No pork blood. Recommended for non-native folks.

    Sticker

Ordered steamed chicken dumplings, grilled chicken springs rolls, and spicy beef with fried rice after work today, and came across a sticker in the food. I know stickers on vegetables can be missed from time to time but it's just not appetizing to find in your food when it's outside of the home.

Pho critique; Coming straight from a Lao person, I am going to give you my honest opinion. The pho broth 3/5 more on the bland side. You have to add a lot of seasonings so be prepare. They give you a lot of meat so that's a plus, they are light on the veggies so ask for extra! Overall the broth is not so much authentic more catered to the surroundings if you know what I mean. Khone kao..Service, think about a drive through at McDonald's.. it's a quick you ready you ready? You better order fast Lol the taro boba more like a 2/5. Not the greatest so don't buy it , it's pricey too! $7.50 and taste like it's just blended powder with ice. I would eat there again since it's down the street if I have cravings. I'm sure the other foods is probably good. I still give it a 4 star considering the fact it's in Mainsfield! Probably the best you going to get!

    Spring rolls

Food was great. Delicious and fresh. The service was good as well. I'd definitely go back. One thing I really liked is that they had more shrimp in the spring roll than Pho 95. Pho 95 only puts like half of one shrimp and one spring roll.

Service is def subpar. The lady here today (short haired Asian lady with glasses)was acting like she did not want to be here. I am so disappointed because this is my 2nd time here and I had a great experience the first time I came. I brought my daughter and luckily the food did not disappoint just as great as before and the other waitress (lady with pony tail and glasses) started waiting on us which made our service experience much better. It was cold outside so it was a perfect time for some food pho!! Def will be back but I will make sure the lady with short hair is not my waitress!! The restraint was packed. I think everyone had the same idea!! 5 stars for the food and other employees- they just need to get rid of the lady with the short hair and glasses.

Too uncomfortable for me to go in. Tables full right next to each other. Not enough social distance for my comfort.

One star out because in dining do not have enough distance between tables. Second star out because order was not ready when they said it will be ready. Also, staff does not try to control the crowd for safety. Although, staff were wearing masks, indoor dining is still pretty crowded. Food is good and potions are generous. Great value for the money. Taste is okay. Nothing special but not bad either. We ordered: - Grilled Chicken - good protein serving. Taste is good. - Teriyaki Chicken - good protein serving. Taste is good. - Grilled Pork fresh spring rolls - smaller than other places. Tasted fresh. We didn't like the sauce that tasted like a bottled store bought sauce. - Fried Tofu - tasteless by itself. Sauce adds flavor but it's the same sauce as the spring rolls that is store bought bottle. Pretty convenient from the hotel. Might try again.

My go to Vietnamese restaurant in the area!!!! Maybe I haven't been to enough Vietnamese restaurant in Arlington yet to know if any other places offer more than just 1 or 2 vegan items on their menu, but Pho Palace got a huge thumb up from me for having a good selection of vegan items. For their regular non-vegan food, I used to always order their grilled pork spring rolls (goi cuon thit nuong) and combination rice noodle soup (hu tieu thap cam). Love love their home made pickled jalapeno! So much that I would eat the whole pickled jalapeno container every time I come here. Lucky for me, they have somewhat similar vegan version of the noodle soup I like. The only thing is, if you're like me and kinda specific of what vegetables/condiments that go into the soup, make sure you ask for added celery in the vegan noodle soup. Like most Vietnamese restaurants, the service here is not the best, but it's a lot better than other places. One surprising thing is most of their servers, even the chef (at least 1 of them), speak really good English. We haven't had anything from here that we don't like. Since it's so close to home and the food is great, we'll for sure keep coming back!

    Chicken pho

Food: 8/10 Customer service: 7/10 Tried the vegan pho and chicken pho. Vegan pho came with vegan ham which I was not a fan of. Tofu, mushrooms, carrots, green onion and rice noodles where perfectly cooked. Portions are very generous. Chicken pho came with lots of chicken and tasty flavor. Did not like the fact that I felt rushed to leave. Wanted to order more food before even finishing but someone who was not the waitress brought the check over. Well decorated and spacious.

We love Vietnamese cuisine and Belle's menu looked very interesting online. Belle's turned out to be very different from your average pho or Vietnamese spot. The small menu allows for your average interested diner not to be overwhelmed. The staff are friendly and informative. I still could have used maybe a little more "opinion" but in the end, I can't really ask twenty questions about dishes I'm unfamiliar with. We were seated at the only banquette. It was very comfy, and brought a liter of ice water and cups. We ordered apps and settled in. Our waitress was so very friendly and sweet, obviously loving her restaurant and the menu. In short, the eggrolls were crispy and stuffed with chicken. The bahn mi flat grilled appetizer was served much like Nachos would be, and is nothing like you would expect, just "delicious" according to my husband. The Fried chicken wings are big, perfect and gloriously garlic with a terrific sauce. The small menu has a host of main courses that will let you venture out into Vietnamese cuisine and try something just a little bit new, like I did with Bun Bo Xao (Filet Beef With Vermicelli). Was it exactly what I wanted? I'll be honest. No. I prefer more veggies than just pickled carrots but the garlic sauteed Filet was exceptional with the noodles. Their nuoc cham is just delicious. We enjoyed our lunch/dinner and would definitely return. There is plenty of parking out front. The bathrooms are clean and there is a sink outside the restrooms to wash those sticky fingers!!

I was pumped because not many places around Mansfield/Arlington seem to offer it and it really enhanced the experience of sushi. Unfortunately, I paid 1.99 for the fresh wasabi and received the regular wasabi paste.. which was fine, but usually that's standard at sushi places and not extra. I really was set to enjoy the rougher cut wasabi. Otherwise, I did order two California rolls for my kid and I, garlic Cajun edamame, pork gyoza and another roll (it had shrimp tempura and eel, but I can't remember the name). It was my first time trying the eel roll and I thought it was good. The California rolls were solid and my son enjoyed the gyoza potstickers. We came in on a Saturday around 3pm and the place was totally empty, but the staff was very nice and courteous when we entered to pick up our order. It took no time to put together and we enjoyed our sushi at home minus the fresh wasabi. It was also very clean in there. The quest is still on to find a place with the wasabi, but this was a nice place to stop! Thank you to the staff for the kindness.
