Ordered the lunch specials : Mongolian beef and chicken lo mein and both were a huge letdown. The Mongolian beef was basically a pile of onions with a few tiny pieces of beef hiding in there. More like Mongolian onion if we're being honest. The fried rice on the side was dry, bland, and completely forgettable. The chicken lo mein wasn't any better. It felt like they named the dish for the concept, not the execution...barely any chicken, just noodles with no flavor. Now I wasn't expecting high end quality, just some solid Chinese takeout that would hit the spot and put me to sleep after. Instead, I was left disappointed (and kind of mad I spent money on it). Everything was flat, flavorless, and seriously in need of salt or better yet, some good old MSG. First and definitely last time l'Il be ordering from here. read more

I hate to leave a review like this but my experience with King Dragon was not good. My boyfriend and I had orange chicken and I had combination fired rice and egg rolls and both of us ended up with really bad stomach aches for the rest of the night. So before I checked Yelp he told me where they get theirs from and that they deliver. I called and ordered sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. In about 30 minutes they showed up with our order. I have been ordering from this place over 15 years, we moved 4 miles further away about 8months ago so we stopped going as much as we used to. We literally lived in the neighborhood behind it. Customer service is always a hit or miss but I never complained. We decided to order pickup today, when my husband picked up he asked for hot oil chili sauce. They said there was an extra charge. I understand everything costs money but I just spent $65 plus a tip. Can you please give me ONE free sauce. The food is ok but I'm sure there are plenty of "Chinese" takeout places I can start giving my business to near my new neighborhood who will so kindly give me some chili sauce. I received a pamphlet for this establishment wedged in between my door. I saved it for the next time i was considering Chinese delivery like today. When i tried to order online, i picked out everything I wanted and went to create an account. Once I put my address in, it said that my address is 5.5 miles away and it doesn't meet their "5 mile rule". When i went to look at the exact distance it showed that i was only 4.8 miles away. I went for lunch on Friday, not expecting to see such a great deal on lunch specials. However, they had plentiful options for only $5.95 each, so I got two, one for lunch and one for dinner. For lunch I got the chicken lo mein. With this meal you got the lo mein, an egg roll, and your choice of fried or steamed rice, two large scoops of it. Something I notice with a lot of lo mein is that it can be gummy, however I did not experience that here. The noodles were cooked to perfection and were not sticky. The fried rice could have been improved by adding peas and carrots, but it was still good nonetheless. For my dinner I got General Tso's chicken. This can be hit or miss depending on the restaurant, but this was incredible. There was plenty of sauce, and it included carrots and water chestnuts. After I finished the chicken I was able to mix my rice with the sauce and it was an amazing combination. If you're looking for a great, cheap lunch with enough portions then I can't recommend King Dragon enough. read more
