This review is not only about the food but how this business is handling COVID-19. My family decided to order some take Out to celebrate the new year and wanted to try something new. We ordered online and that was very easy. The menu is extensive and there are options for everyone! The food was good, We are. Willing to try this place again when things are not so crazy. However, our food was cold by the time we got it home. I live 7 mins from the restaurant. Our pick up time was 6:10 and we arrived right at 6:10 for pick up. we were told we had to wait in line to get our food even though we had already paid. There were bags of food sitting on a table and I noticed my name so I walked up and grabbed my food. Who knows how long it was sitting out as it was cold when we got it home. My BIGGEST ISSUE is that this location is allowing patrons to DINE INSIDE! They are not even trying to abide by the rules and there were plenty of families sitting inside and eating. There were far to many people in the building and social distancing was tricky. I understand that people need to survive however they could be taking better precautions during this trying time. I was very disappointed by this. Again the food was good and I would be willing to try it again I just don't agree with how they are ignoring all the rules for COVID-19. read more

I put in an order and prepaid thru yelps grubhub thing. I went to pick it up, and i find the whole restaurant filled with people without masks and eating at tables, even though there's a statewide no-dine-in order. One of the staff coughed while i was there. I asked the clerk why there was dining. She said she was defying the order. I immediately canceled my order and i expect all my money to be refunded. The restaurant should have told me they were being irresponsible and letting people inside their building. I would've avoided their business from the start. I seriously love this place! The food is fresh and the veggies are so good! I always come here and bring my friends to this place. This is my hidden gem in Escondido. The owner is so sweet and she's amazing with her customer service, very professional! She really does make the restaurant welcoming and takes the time to check on each customer. Food- The food was ok, it came hot to the table however the taste was off. The orange chicken was ok and the Kung pao chicken was ok I think it need more veggies. My husband got the pho with chicken, he said it was good. We also got the fried chicken wings, those were pretty good. My son got the mango Boba he liked it. Service- Service for sure is 5 stars they were very friendly and our water cups were always filled. They greeted us and came over to make sure everything was ok. Great job guys. Plus the food came out pretty fast. Inside- The tables were clean and wiped down, the soy sauce was wiped down and not dirty or sticky, that in my book is perfect! if i could give zero stars i would. asked for extra noodles and paid $7 on top of the ridiculous price they charge for a bowl only to get like 3 strands of noodles extra. a bag of these noodles costs 2-3 dollars at the store and serves multiple people. spent $30 on soup, "extra" noodles, and a small iced coffee. there's better pho restaurants than this one. don't waste your breath here. read more

This place is always busy but really has some great food! There is always a slight variance in the taste and that's because it's not always the dames cook which really gives it an authentic home cooked meal! The staff is always great and on top of anything you need... and what really bring this home is the experience! I'm. It sure if she's the manager or owner but the lady who's usually at the register if you pay close enough attention she's the operations behind it all and she always walks the restaurant asking people if there is anything they need, o tip she remembers so many faces asks about how you are family etc. after a few visits it's not like you going to a restaurant but to have dinner at someone's home. Literally my favorite place to get pho!!! It's so close to home, both physically and emotionally I've been going here ever since it opened when I was young and continue to as I'm older now. Ok I've been here twice now and each time I've been impressed. Getting here isn't difficult and parking is even easier. It was a rainy day, so I was happy that I grabbed a spot right in front of the restaurant. This place is small but has a bunch of tables. There's one TV so be sure to grab a table facing it. Now to the food... I had the P1 which is the combination pho. It was a heaping amount of food for only $8! I added all the bean sprouts, jalapeños and mint leaves which made my bowl so flavorful. Also, i added a few drops of Sriracha if made my meal so colorful. It was intensely flavored and very fresh. My server was very friendly and welcoming and so was the owner. She came by to check on me and the other customers. I was in and out in less than an hour and told myself I had to come back again... So I did. The second time around, I went with a sand which. The sand which was very fresh and the bread was perfectly made. For less than $6, you can't find a better sandwich in the area. Again, my server was friendly and suggestive. The owner was welcoming again and checked one me ass well as the other customers. If you're looking for delicious food that won't break your wallet, this is a great place to go. This place is a staple in Escondido. Every time we go there, we order take out and the order is perfect each time. Priscilla is always there to greet you with a smile (you can even see it through her mask!) and the food is delicious! Normally we order Pho which is always excellent, but we also have ordered orange chicken, Bahn Mi, honey chicken, pad Thai, spring rolls and egg rolls. I definitely recommend their food!! When I mentioned it to the staff, they just gave us a blank look. Additionally, we observed staff carelessly wiping off dining tables for the next customers, with the same unsanitized rag and without using any kind of disinfectant. At this point, because of the serving staff's carelessness, we don't know if the cook in back even wears a mask. The boba was absolutely not edible & this item was returned. With no refund. They just made it without boba. Wow. Simply amazing. This place reminds me of great Vietnamese restaurants in the SGV. Soup broth of the pho is rich, well flavored, and not watery like some places. The amount of well-done brisket I got in my pho was an even ratio to noodles. Some places give so much noodle and barely any beef/meat. This place gives an outstanding and very generous portion of meat. I will definitely come back here. Also, I asked for a side of cilantro and onions and they gave it for free. It is so nice getting delivery while we are dealing with COVID! I've gotten the pho from here a few times now. The broth is well-seasoned. You can taste different spices in it - cinnamon comes out strongly. You get all the accompaniments like thai basil, bean sprouts, lemon, and jalepeno. So far, I found if you do a build your own, you can get just fatty brisket which is delicious. It's extremely tender and just melts in your mouth. My sister gets the Basil Fish. She really enjoys it. It's a fried fish served in a sauce. It still stays crispy and she likes the flavor. It's a bit sweet and sour. The portion sizes here is the only serious negative. You can still be hungry after finishing. Since the toddler doesn't usually finish his food, it's easy to still get full but that won't be the case if you are eating here alone. read more

There are so many things about this place I love. It all starts the moment you walk in. Pleasant greetings are offered by the kind owner Pricilla as she quickly finds an open table. I've been coming here for many years and have tried almost everything on the menu. Some of my favorite dishes other than their lovely Pho are as follows: Napoleon Beef, Chicken Curry, BBQ Shrimp, Pork & Shrimp Spring Rolls, Crispy Calamari, East Coast Style "Crispy" Chow Mein combo and these all go great with either Vietnamese Iced Coffee or sweet Thai Tea. This is probably my "go-to" restaurant for lunch as it's always freshly prepared and tasty. I would recommend to anyone and suggest you give it a shot. With their long menu I would bet you'll find something that will exceed expectations. I will miss my weekly visits to this place living in Oregon, but you know I'll be back for lunch whenever I'm in town.
