Pho Sky Blossom definitely makes a strong first impression. The interior is beautiful, modern, upscale, and thoughtfully designed. It feels like the kind of place you'd bring someone when you want to impress them, and the menu prices definitely reflect that atmosphere. We ordered the Bun Bo Hue and the Stone Bowl Combination Pho, adding a short rib for an extra $11. The Bun Bo Hue broth was flavorful and satisfying, while the pho broth was excellent--rich, aromatic, and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the value just wasn't there for me. For the price, I expected much more from the short rib. It arrived smaller than the palm of my hand and was overcooked. At other pho restaurants, I've had massive Texas BBQ-sized short ribs that practically hang over the bowl, and they cost 11$ cheaper. If the short rib had at least been larger or cooked perfectly, the price might have been easier to justify. The service was good throughout our visit, and the staff were friendly and attentive. That said, I don't see myself returning at this price point. There are several pho spots that offer similar or arguably even better flavors while giving you significantly more food for your money. If you're looking for a stylish dining experience with a great atmosphere, pHo Sky Blossom delivers. But if you're primarily chasing the best pho value in town, there are probably better options. We came on a Sunday evening and we were so surprised that it was basically empty inside! Our server was so friendly, and really quick with anything we needed. And the food was really good too! I've also never seen pho sold with pho and broth only and then the toppings are sold as additional add ons. I get what they're trying to do here going for finer dining. You have to pick only one choice of meat which I find odd, defeats the representation of authenticity. The rocket shrimp tasted ok but a little too much cream cheese. We paid extra therefore we got what we paid for. Broth was hot and boiling. All the stuff that goes inside the pho was on the side for us to add as we please. THAT was good. Now there is other regular pho options and I cannot vouch for that because we didn't have it. I ordered the Korean short ribs rice platter. I figured, can't go wrong with Korean short rib. Cool vibe and great music but AC doesn't work. It was crazy hot inside with no more than three couples eating on a Monday afternoon. We ordered the edamame, chicken pho, and 2 topping pho with beef balls + brisket. The server was very quiet so we asked her to repeat herself each time. They brought waters quickly but they only had a few ice cubes and melted really fast because of how hot it was inside. They had an industrial fan pointed towards the DJ booth and speakers which appeared to keep those cooler but not the guests. The appetizer took so long it came out with the meal. The chicken pho was really over cooked and dry. The beef was a little more moist but the broth was plain. To add insult to injury the bathrooms were rough. It's never a good sign when the door handle is so beat up they decide to put a latch lock on the door instead of replacing the handle. They were out of soap and there was hair all over the sink in the men's bathroom. This was extra strange since most men don't have long curly hairs like these... We were about three quarters of the way through our meal and were getting really hot. We ran out of water much earlier and were hoping our server would come back but she did not. I went and found her and there were two jugs of water on the counter next to her. She said she would come refill our waters and proceeded to bring one of the warm jugs of water over to refill our cups. We asked for some more ice and she paused before leaving and coming back with a styrofoam cup of ice for us to add to our glasses. Not sure why she didn't return with two glasses of ice and water but it was enough for us to know it was time to go. We paid on the toast handle held which she held on to while we paid. Never a fan of someone breathing down your neck to see if you tip or not. Hand the console to the guest and let them complete the transaction. The worst part was the default tip amounts are 28%, 25%, and 20%. What a joke. I would have completed the survey on the device but was already taking time adjusting the tip and was ready to go. We returned to visit Pho Sky Bloolssom today for lunch. It was crowded as we expected, but managable, I think. It took 15 minutes for the host to bring us some water, and another 10 minutes for our orders to be taken, but we understood. Learning from the last visit, we shared a Stone Bowl Pho with 3 toppings so that we could have 2 appertizers, Calamari and Tuna & Chips. Everything was delicious. I can tell when a restaurant is owned by a chef. Their food is par excellence while their dining room service can be off and on. We were waiting for another 10 minutes for a togo box and the bill. I did share my suggestion to a man who wore the server uniform but I guessed he might be one of the bosses. The bottleneck of his operations was because each server takes the drink orders then go making them themselves. On the weekends, he should consider a beverage tender, who does all drinks, keeping the servers to greet and serve the customers. Btw, their 2 server assistants, aka. Buspersons, did great jobs, but they couldn't take orders. Their iced coffee with milk appearing on the table tent is a must trial, but today, in such a rush, we got ours in a togo cup vice their original fancy jar, which I love drinking from. The inside of this place is beautifully decorated. You walk in and see the bar while you wait to be seated. The server will then take you to be seated to the right. As you walk, you will see the gorgeous sakura flower display towards the back. The server promptly brought me water and asked if I had any questions about the menu. She was so friendly, from the beginning until the end. Very efficient. There is a grand opening special right now. They've been open for about 2 months. When you spend $20, you can select an appetizer (dumplings, egg rolls or fried cheese wontons). If you already have too much food coming, as I did, then you can select a complimentary drink (almond black milk tea, blood orange drink or a Vietnamese Iced Milk Coffee). I ordered the pho (fuh) for $10, with 1 topping (beef eye round) for an additional $6. The total was $16 for a massive bowl of pho. They bring it out on a cart, with a tray of sauces and a side plate of veggies (bean sprouts, Thai basil, lime, jalapeños and I think culantro). The broth was delicious and the beef was tender. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Im not sure if they are the traditional type of rice noodles but it worked for me. Of course, I couldn't finish it all, so they offered to put it in a to go container and gave me a fresh bag of veggies to go with it. I also ordered a banh mi pork sandwich for $6. The sandwich had a generous amount of delicious tender pork in it, extra cilantro as I requested, mayo, jalapenos, cucumbers and pickled carrots. It is supposed to have liver pate on it but I'm not sure if my sandwich had any on it. Either way, it was delicious and served in a light, airy, thin and crisp roll. I chose the almond black tea for my complimentary promo item. It is served chilled in a large plastic cup. Again, yet another delicious item. I immediately tasted the almond flavor, but it was not overpowering and went well with the black tea. I will definitely come back here. Lots of parking since it's in a shopping plaza. The place is modern, decoration is so pretty! There used to be an area in the back where you can take selfies if that is what you want to do. For apps we got the spring rolls (they were good, different since there was bacon inside), and the shrimp tempura taco, it was ok. For lunch I had the combination 1 special pho in the clay pot.
