I ordered at this place a few times. Their foods are absolutely amazing. The amount of food in one order is very generous enough for two portions so I just divide the food into two half. My favorite here so far is com ga hai nam. I ordered it out of curiousity but it turned out so delicious and satisfying!! I encouraged everyone to experiment with their menu. This is about my 5th time eating Pho from different places in east lansing & detroit areas and this restaurant was by far the worst. We ordered what the waitress recommended (#9) and were very displeased with the overall pho. The meat was dry grey & flavorless. We asked for thick egg noodles & definitely didn't get them. The overall flavor of the broth was bland and watery. I wouldn't recommend this place for pho but instead Sapparos was much better :/ read more

Pho So 1 is definitely a solid option when it comes to Lansing Pho! The atmosphere here is pretty cool and the service was efficient and kind. In terms of the food, I had the pho and summer rolls (comes in a set of three). The pho was a pretty generous portion considering the price but I felt like it was a bit rich for my tastes. They used a type of BBQ pork for the summer rolls which I thought was pretty unique. However, I thought the wrapping was a bit tough and may not be completely worth the steep price. read more

Another letdown for Pho in East Lansing for me... their broth was 'meh', and the portion of soup, noodles & beef was slightly less than other Pho restaurants. We went pretty early in the day, so maybe the broth didn't have time to soak up all the bones & herbs for that delicious pho flavor..? Not sure, but at any rate I wasn't impressed. I ordered the #9 pho and it was delicious! My food came out quickly and all of the proper seasonings were at the table for me to spice it up to my liking. My waitress was attentive and the prices were fair. Got #12, Pho Tom Shrimp rice noodle and #112. Cha Gio (Imperial Roll) Four Vietnamese fried egg rolls served with side vegetable and fish sauce to go. Nicely wrapped up and still warm when we got home. Pho was enough for 2 large bowls. And just what I needed for a terrible cold on a freezing March day. Very helpful staff. Very clean place. Very friendly staff. I had the spring rolls (goi con) and pho tai. 3 rolls for 5.95 is a great price! They were good, but they had cucumbers which was a surprise because I have never had them with cucumbers. The Pho Tai came with a HUGE plate of garnish. Twice as big as the garnish plates at other pho places I have tried. The pho itself was good. I took an order of pho ga to go, and my daughter enjoyed that also. Few cons: peanut sauce for spring rolls was very thin, almost watery, but had a great taste. The meat in the spring rolls and in the pho ga has a different texture than we are used too. Again, tasted good, but felt weird in your mouth. Finally, the chili flake oil was chunky, which is unlike I have had before. Overall, very happy I found this Pho place so close to campus. I visited on a Saturday a little after opening on the recommendation of my hair stylist and I'm glad that I listened to her! First, I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and service was quick and friendly. I ordered the chicken pho and fried egg rolls to take home for lunch. I was surprised that it was still piping hot even after my 40 minute drive home. Everything was packaged neatly and made it home intact! The portions were generous and the egg rolls were fried to perfection. They also included fish sauce and hoisen/sriracha sauce for dipping as well as pickled vegetables. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to try other items on the menu. read more

Banh Mi with pork was delicious. Bread was fresh and very soft the pork on it was hot and well seasoned 6 inch for $3.95 you can't beat that! Pho was great order #26 if you like beef ox tails only place in town that serves ox tails on the bone for pho. read more

Good, if you want Vietnamese without leaving East Lansing. But not great. I ordered beef and got pork, then waiter argued with me about that - never a good thing. Which was surprising, since it is a family run restaurant & owners seem friendly. Eventually they sent the plate back, dumped the pork, put some beef on it & returned it to me. Beef indeed tasted like it had been sitting around a while. read more
