Yesterday dec. 19,2020 we order pho soup,spring rolls and fried rolls but the meat is terribly hard hope they change it as before tender.

I went here for the first time, and it was an okay experience. I've never had Pho before, so it was a pleasant change of pace, but I will never go back here. The waitress was rude, slow, inattentive, and pushy when it came to paying the check. Mind you, it was not busy... at all, and she wanted us to pay promptly, even though she did not give us prompt service. The only highlight was being able to try something new. read more

I love Pho! Anytime I visit my parents I like to stop by this location and pickup a little Shrimp Pho Soup. But my main reason to always arrive at this location is their Vietnamese coffee! Ugh, so strong and delicious. They do have a Help Sign out on the door, and you can tell that during the lunch rush it does get a little backed up. It is probably the only concern I would have with this location. Service is always excellent, but you can definitely tell there is some need of an extra body to help out. read more

This is a Vietnamese-owned pho shop with non-Vietnamese workers (I have never seen this before). The waitress was not friendly according to my mom (I didn't interact with her myself). I had the Vietnamese coffee for $3.50 and it was absolutely delicious. They don't give a lot of vegetables (bean sprouts, Thai basil) for the pho compared to most pho places. The interior is long and narrow and has random stands on the side that looks to be a former ice cream stand. The pho was okay. I would order the Vietnamese coffee again for sure. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Went over here because the Angkor was closed. Long story short I was there forever if you want good service this is the wrong place for you. The food looks very generic and it seems the people working there are clueless and move in slow motion. They brought out my food and I had to wait at least 12 minutes for a fork and napkins. I'll say that it tasted better than it looked and smelled. Honestly though it wasn't good it had a unusual to the unappetizing kind of smell to it. Also the color of the broth didn't look good either kind of a dirty gray. My beef slices - ordered rare were well done and the 'meat' balls were horrible rubbery and looked and tasted synthetic. Vu L just sent me a message to "READ" her/his menu and claims they always have chicken. Well my last visit they claimed they ran out of chicken. I had 3 in my party and they heard the same thing our waitress said to me about having no chicken that day of my visit. I did "READ" the menu and they do have food containing chicken but it was very unfortunate that the day of my visit they ran out of chicken. I have no reason to lie about my visit. I think Vu L needs to communicate with her/his staff and not be so rude to her/his customers. He/ she should of sent out a better message to people instead of being so rude. Like I said on my last review I will no longer be coming here specially now that Vu L was extremely rude to me. read more

No one working had on face mask the man behind counter who took our order said he was on break the reason he didn't have face mask he said his mother wasn't, working just standing near kitchen watching everything reason she didn't, have on mask. Mother came to front ask what problem was when son advised we question why no face mask she she wears one but it irrated her face so she took off she then stated that the person bringing our food out we ordered to go always wore face mask but when she came out of kitchen she didn't, have face mask on her mask was laying on counter and she didn't put on until she got to counter. read more

I had high hopes for this place. And while the presentation of my chicken pho and spring rolls was lovely, the multiple roaches i witnessed scurrying along the wall next to my table made my appetite disappear. The service was less than optimal and our server barely acknowledged us for long periods of time even though there was only one other patron present. She seemed more interested in socializing with her coworkers than serving us. Like I said, I had high hopes, But it was a terrible disappointment. I may have enjoyed my meal more had I not seen the roaches running through the restaurant. To the owner.. You cant just clean the place and expect roaches to leave. Hidden gem right off the 14 in Lancaster. Nice place to hit for some warm soup coming back from a weekend snowboarding in Mammoth. Fresh, healthy and cheap. Chinese as well as Vietnamese menu. Both are tasty. Shrimp spring rolls a must. read more

Fantastic, I had the pho number one and it was great. The broth was FULL of beefy Asian flavor. There were nice size slices(larger than I've had) of beef and tendon. I have been waiting a few weeks since their sign went up and I am very happy right now. Some 1st day hiccups as far as service goes. I.e. it was a little slow. But it was worth the wait. Been here a few times already and I have yet to be disappointed. In fact, this is my second trip today as they ran out of the chicken curry and were in the process of making another batch. I suggest if you are not a big fan of rice, you can opt for take out and buy yourself a loaf of French bread at the nearby Wal-mart. Eating the curry with the bread is just on another level of goodness. Their pho is really good and the broth has really good flavor. Their combo fried rice is one of the better ones I've had before... Beef and pork are so tender and the shrimp is cooked just right, not over cooked as in most places. Not a bad place, actually it was pretty good! I'm having the noodles with beef and eggrolls and vegetables. It's very good. I liked that the noodles aren't overdone nor were they pre made and sat in the cooler- they are freshly made per order as I could tell. The beef in it was okay, but the eggrolls were good- tasty!! I'm a vegetable guy and the bowl lacks a little of the greens and it's crunch. This place is okay, I think I can see my self coming back. read more

This is the first PHO joint I have tried in the AV and it was great. Very pleasant staff, large portions, and low prices. I am an amateur in the PHO game so I stick to simple dishes; I ordered rare steak (separate) from the broth and it came out as desired. The steak was plenty, the noodles weren't overcooked, and the broth was delicious. I will definitely be coming back and trying something a little more adventurous and perhaps raising the star count. read more

This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have ever found. The pho here is amazing as is most of the other menu items. They do sell some quick Chinese take out meals also, but they are far superior than most of the Chinese restaurants around it. My favorite though is to get the spring rolls with the peanut sauce. Even though it is weird to have peanut sauce at a Vietnamese restaurant be rest assured that it is by far some of the most delicious peanut sauces you will ever try. Don't knock it until you try it. This is one of my favorite places to go so you know I will be stopping in occasionally to get my pho fix. read more

My wife who I bought the spring rolls for seconded it. In end they make some good food need to work on tenderness of chicken but I would go back and see what else they offer. I had the #13 and it was good. The soup had flavor, not like some places where it just tastes like water. I also had a Thai tea, which was just the right amount of sweet. The hot tea was sad, tasted like water. And it came in a mug instead of the usual teapot and teacup most places do. The place is small, you wouldn't expect it to be so busy. Today, it was busy. Bought Beef Pho, Vietnamese egg rolls, orange chicken and fried rice for myself and my daughter. Only one other customer in the store. The Pho was luke warm, nothing at all in it besides noodles and meat, had to ask for basil. The orange chicken was extremely dry, and frankly Panda Express is better. The "fried rice" is egg mixed in steamed rice....not even soy sauce let alone any veggies or spices etc. The restroom is filthy and the faucet is literally coming off the sink. I took two bites of the awful Pho and asked to have it taken off and pay and just box up everything else. Still waiting about 15min later.....nobody else is here. Two to go orders are waiting for their food. Sucks to be them. Also the cups of water taste funny and the water looks yellowish...my daughter pointed it out. One more thing, asked for sugar for my daughter's hot tea....which is a coffee mug with a bag of tea in it....still never got it. This place is VILE and the service is extremely slow. Ive been to a lot of pho place in the valley and wanted to try this one. Its average pho not great but if you have a craving then maybe this can satisfy you a bit rather than drive all the way to San Fernando Valley. Service sucks though i mean poor girl when i came lunch time shes the only ine working. I have to walk away because it was too long of a wait.
