This is definitely the worst pho restaurant I have ever been to. And we have been to alot. We decided to try this out because it's closer then the one in west Palmdale. The pho noodles were mushy and the base was unflavorful. The service was terrible as well, they throw the straws on the table and touch the cup tops when they should touch the cups from the bottom. It's hit and miss for me. Sometimes it's really good!! Pho comes out hot (enough to cook the raw beef) but sometimes it's not. They have always had courteous staff and fast service. The ambiance is severely lacking though, they still have stuff leftover from the previous shop that doesn't mesh well with the interior. I know ambiance isn't all, but it really does bump down your experience eating here. I guess you could call this a hole in the wall shop. Prices are decent. read more

Best pho I've had in Lancaster/Palmdale. It's a small place, and the waiters are nice. I was previously going to pho sure in Valencia, but I'm really excited to have a more convenient place now. Good deep fried shrimp. Pho was good, but steak got stuck in my teeth, a lot. Maybe I will try the pork Pho, or sausage pho, next time. Have been coming here since it opened and never had a problem. Yesterday I ordered their fabulous Pho and their spring rolls...got home and no spring rolls! They make them special for me too! I live 25 miles away and was really Jonesing for their spring rolls. I called and they were so apologetic and told me to "call and come in the next day (I work far from home and this is a very convenient stop) and we will make it right". Did they? They sure did!!! Some winners, but mostly losers. Unfortunately, the biggest losers were us because we didn't just go to Submachine next door. First disappointment was discovering that the famous teriyaki chicken is not only not on the menu, but non-existent. They don't have it. They don't make it. Not at all. When we settled on what we were having, our food came out at completely different times. Even though there were only two of us. Second disappointment, pork fried rice that tasted like it was prepped for service two days ago. Pork was sooooooo dry. Even the rice was dried out. Only the veggies had a little life. No worries, a little soy sauce cures everything. But alas, as I (and the people at the table behind and beside me) soon discovered, the soy sauce bottles at the table are full of not soy but fish sauce. My rice was not amazing. Now for a positive, the hubby's kung pao chicken was excellent. Veggies a little crisp, but otherwise, great. We were not offered any drink refills, but when we asked for them when the server finally brought our check, she brought back a second check with charges for the refills, so maybe that's why. But if she'd just come by the table to check on us once while we were eating, we would have told her that we wanted refills. Either way, this was a one and done for us. One last comment that I sincerely hope an owner or manager sees, I get that family is important. But so is your business. I don't come to a restaurant to hear your kids electronics. We were all the way in the front of the restaurant and the child was at the very back table with all her stuff spread out but whatever she was watching or playing was so loud it was a complete distraction. read more

We learned of this Pho restaurant from the Chinese restaurant across the street. We're used to vegetable Pho made with vegetable based soup and tofu, and tons of vegetables. The owner, "Vu" was extremely accommodating. I asked him if they had vegetable broth. He said no but he would make anything we wanted. He made a vegetable broth Pho with a variety of perfectly cooked vegetables. I had Pho Ga and the vegetables and white meat ckn. were cooked to perfection. By far this little restaurant has the best Pho in the AV. The Pho was absolutely without a doubt delicious. We're so happy to finally find a great Pho restaurant in AV. The staff were attentive to us the minute we walked in the door. Restaurant is clean and has an "A" rating something one does not always see at Asian restaurants. This is definitely a gem of a restaurant. We will definitely visit it often. We ate in the restaurant. There were many people coming in for take out while my husband and I were eating. They also make Chinese food!!!! If you like Pho try Pho Stop. It is DEFINITELY better than any we've tried in Palmdale. Finally we've found our "home" in the AV for Pho. read more

Have been here twice in a span of two weeks and my opinion of this place is, if you want something that resembles Viet foods or if you are desperate for Viet foods in Lancaster because there is no other Viet restaurants in this damn city, this is the place for you. If you want good Viet foods, please go somewhere else south towards LA or go eat at Taco Bell or something because the Viet foods at this place is just simply not good at all. I ordered a rice plate with pork and shrimp and the fish sauce that came with the rice plate is just bare fish sauce straight out of the bottle. It's not the fish sauce that is mixed with red pepper, vinegar and sugar that you normally see with this dish. On top of that, the rice plate is not that good either. Take it for what it is-- a fast Chinese food place that happens to serve pho. The pho was okay at best. Broth was cloudy and not the delicate clear that I'm accustomed to. The flavor of the broth lacked the depth of a true pho broth as well. I'm talking star anise and all those traditional spices that go in pho. Noodles were over cooked and a bit on the...mushy side. Our order consisted of two large bowls and they were awfully skimpy on the fixings (bean sprouts, lime, etc..)! My son did enjoy their orange chicken and chow mein though. Only giving Pho Stop 3 stars cause I wasn't that happy with it. I eat Pho all the time and I won't be coming back. The Veggie Pho was made with beef broth. First time stopping by. Place was clean and very comfortable. Have to say the food was pretty good. Had the B3 Vermicelli w/grilled pork and an egg roll. Not very welcoming, it's cold inside and cold outside which doesn't make for a comforting feeling. The pho was delicious but the chicken was bland and like it was dropped in. I made the mistake of ordering chicken egg rolls, on the menu they sounded delicious but when they showed up they were not the egg rolls I was expecting at all. I felt like I was eating some Alien food. The Customer Service wasn't that great minimal at best. All in all this new attempt at finding the best pho was a bit of a fail and I won't be returning. This place sucks. It took 35 minutes from ordering to get the number 2 pho tai. We waited at least 15 minutes to order and about 5 minutes to be seated ( they were bussing tables, but it wasn't busy- a bit of a riddle me this situation). The broth was okay, but the meat was well done by the time I got it. I didn't eat it, it was too tough. FYI- hot tea means a cup of tea here, not a pot. We asked for water after nearly 40 minutes and the lady said "oh you want water?"- at this point we had eaten the potstickers (no napkins, water, hot tea, or iced coffee to accompany those potstickers). So from walking into the door to leaving it took well over an hour for one bowl of soup and an appetizer. I'm not ever going here again. read more

This pho spot is just ok. I was hoping to find a spot that would put Boba Cove and Mana to shame. This place fell waaaay short. We ordered 2 larges and a regular, all 3 were the same size. My family and I love going here. The owners are super nice and they will sometimes bring an ice cream treat out to the kids if we go when it is not so busy. We have eaten here several times since they opened and always had great food. Pho #2!!!
