As someone who doesn't eat meat, it's nice to find a pho places that offers vegetable broth as a substitute their soups. The best part is that the soup didn't lack any flavor! Great flavor, fresh veggies and toppings, excellent service, the soup was hot as it should be, and the serving was huge, and I ordered the regular! Came here to try the pho to see how close to authentic it would taste (being a Vietnamese girl myself). The broth sucked, and let me tell you, the broth is the determining factor of the dish. If the broth sucks, the pho sucks, and it did. The meat was of good quality and they gave bean sprouts, chili peppers, Thai basil, a bit of Hoisin and Sriracha sauce, but not enough to fix the flavor of the broth, and no limes. The condiments were --for the most part-- all there, but if you're looking for authentic pho to satisfy your craving, you won't find it here. read more

I'm reading the reviews of all these wannabe booshie people in Lancaster complaining about the service here. Look,the food is great. It serves up some of the best Pho around. It's a family owned, hole in the wall restaurant with really affordable prices which are always the best. Its a different culture so don't go in expecting 5 star service. I need to ask for extra garnish all the time and always get the same look but they bring it out anyway and are happy to see that I eat it all without allowing it to go to waste. No biggie. Get a life Gabby T. with your out or reach expectations for a $8 meal that you probably don't even leave a tip for. You sound like you practically threw a tantrum for them not having chicken. Do us all a favor and learn to cook so the public doesn't have to deal with your cry baby attitude. And Maria can continue to drive her butt to San Fernando if you don't like the service here. Small business owners in these types of establishments work tooth and nail for pennies and you walk in with your entitled selves and belittle them for not rolling out the red carpet for you. The pho is great! The spring rolls are amazing and you get 4 to an order. I get them for lunch during the week often because they are light and healthy. The service and to go ordering is fast. The staff is super nice and helpful. I ordered some new items for my co-workers and the girl was very helpful. The only drawback is that they don't have printed carry out menus so you have to rely on online photos or take pics of the menu while there. My husband and I went on a Saturday night. It wasn't too busy but there was a large party of about 8 there. We got the menus and the waitress and another lady running the front kept hurrying us to order when we only had it for a minute or two. We finally ordered and they snatched it from our hands. We were applaud. I just kept telling myself that the reviews on Yelp were really good about the Pho. We got our spring rolls and they were really gross. The lettuce was yellow and wilted and the shrimp was chewy. Our pho came and the meat was almost all fat and the broth had no flavor at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very very bad. Came in here for lunch the other day, there were at least 10 people seated inside... Lights were off? Saving electricity maybe? Idk... So I come in, no one is at the register to take my order so I stand at the counter and wait.. A waitress is rushing around me getting menus but doesn't not acknowledge me. So I grab a menu and start to look through it, she comes back by me and says excuse me... I'm thinking she's going to take my order.. Nope I was in her way. She grabs some napkins and rushes off. Finally she comes and asks what I would like to order, I decide on the jalapeño (salt and pepper) shrimp. She takes my order and rushes off and hands it to a man sitting in the back.. My order took less then ten minutes to prepare and literally maybe 15 minutes from time I came in to time I left. My food was hot and fresh the shrimp are big and tasty.. The fried rice was not the best I've had but edible. The shrimp however was so good I could look past her lack of customer service and the so so rice. Will be back to try the pho! read more

I always give a new restaurant 3 tries before I say anything about it. The first two times was not really impressed. Today came for Lunch and was blown away how good the food and service was. We ordered #1 pho, bbq pork bun (dry noodle bowl with bbq pork and lettuce, pronounced "boon"), and eggrolls. The pho wasn't quite right, wasn't hot enough, and the soup was not clear, the taste was ok. The meat in the bun was full of ligaments, not soft. They used ice berg lettuce, not romaine. The menu said the eggrolls come with lettuce and basil to wrap the eggrolls...but it didn't come with it. And when we asked, they gave us ice berg lettuce without basil. I guess I can't have such high expectations for authentic Vietnamese food in the AV. read more

Went in around 1pm. Had their pho w/ rare steak, meatballs, and tripe, and the egg rolls for appetizers. The good - they don't hold back on the meats like at Saigon Pho. The egg rolls and fish sauce were really good. The bad - the pho broth was meh, I was kind of disappointed. It seems like the broth was missing a few ingredients because it had that instant noodle broth taste to it. Mana in Palmdale is the spot to go for pho. read more

Doesn't bother me and it's not a problem, i came for some Pho! and it hit the spot. Everything from the savory broth, meat, noodles, and vegetables were clean and fresh. Soda is non-refillable, you're paying for cans, but it's like that with most pho places. First time in this restaurant. At first I was so excited! But not anymore after bad experience! Bad customer service! I have tried a couple of dishes. I ordered chicken chow mien was a little salty. Pho soup were good. I asked for hot tea for drink. I was told they have to charge me. Really? So I ordered for drink just water. I visited so many Chinese, Thai restaurant in the area. None of them charge for hot tea. Especially this time of year. It's winter and most people like hot drink. I was talking on the phone and didn't notice they served me hot tea, which I didn't order. Then I received the check where they charged me for it. I told that I didn't order tea, I ordered instead water. She was arguing with me in front of so many people in the the restaurant at the moment. Then she was talking laud and murmuring that I ordered it. It was so embarrassed! Stopped in for lunch today with my wife. She order Beef Pho which contained two meats and she added a third (Meatballs). Well her food came 10 mins before mines and it wasn't hot and only contained two of the three meats she ordered. I brought this to the waitresses attention (Who was clueless) from the moment we sat down and she told the manager/owner who was walking by our table. He inquired and says that all three meats were In there and my wife insisted that they were not. He instructed the waitress to tell the kitchen and they sent out the third meat in a separate soup. This meat was raw (As it should be) but cooks in the soup broth and it was not hot. My wife tried to eat it but couldn't because it wasn't hot and didn't fully cook. I brought this to the managers attention and he continued to insist that the three meats were in there and that the soup was hot and no one complains. "Well guess what buddy?" Today someone is complaining. He tells us that next time (Yeah right) we should ask for it super hot. My theory is: 1) you don't argue with the customer. We are not "Always" right but most of the time we are. 2) if I tell you it's not hot.....heat it up! 3) EATING RAW MEAT CAN MAKE YOU SICK.
