Egg noodle option vs french bread

This review is for the branch at Tukwila Mall, Pho Tai location : Excellent beef stew Phó, just the right amount of meat with fatty layer, the correct amount of red pepper spice, and fresh veggies like basil, Jalapeño, and sprouts on the side.

Rainy weather = pho day! Ordered #1 Pho Tai (steak) to go and two fried egg rolls. Pho Tai is only open for take out right now due to covid. I got home to find my pho Tai and two spring rolls (fresh, non fried). I was pretty disappointed because I was craving crunch, however, these were still delicious. I've been here to this location 4 or 5 times now and they usually meet my expectations.

If I could do zero stars I would. I CANNOT stress this enough. Please do not go eat at this place!!! We found a COCKROACH in our food!! This is not okay. This was one of my favorite places to come eat with my husband and my kids. We came in around 9pm today with my mother in law, my father in law, my 5 year old niece and my son who is 1 years old. The first thing that happened when we walked in was that they banned us from sitting on the left side of the restaurant and the excuse was and I quote "this side no please sit on the other side of the restaurant because we already cleaned this side." My husband and I being understanding of the situation chose to follow and sit on the right side of the restaurant. We ordered four number ones and one kids pho meal. As I stated before this was one of my favorite places to eat so it didn't come to my mind to check the food thoroughly. The kids shared a kids pho. I didn't start eating yet because I was feeding my son his pho. I Then took 2 or 3 bites out of my food. My father in law was in the middle of eating his food when he found a dead cockroach floating in it. I WAS SO DISGUSTED I LITERALLY PUSHED MY PLATE AWAY AND TOOK AWAY THE KIDS FOOD AS WELL. What kind of restaurants gives out food especially to KIDS with cockroaches in it?? I can't imagine how sick my son and my niece can get from eating food that was contaminated with cockroaches. Us as adults it isn't that bad but kids? Really?! This makes me so upset. We called over the waiter and the only thing he said was "the only thing I can do is discount one plate." He wasn't even surprised that there was a small cockroach in the bowl. We didn't grab the waiters attention so that we can get discounts. This wasn't a stunt we pulled so that we can get free meals. This was a dinner we wanted to enjoy as a family. We brought kids to this restaurant thinking that it was a safe place for them to eat. We then grabbed the attention of someone else who worked there and showed them the cockroach in the food. She stated "we keep our kitchen clean. Maybe the cockroach fell from the ceiling." I got so upset because she was trying to make It seem like it was our fault the food their restaurant served us had a cockroach in it. Unbelievable. THERE SHOULDN'T BE COCKROACHES ANYWHERE IN THE PLACE WHETHER THAT'S THE KITCHEN, THE FLOOR, THE CEILING. THIS IS A GIANT HEALTH CODE VIOLATION. Please be aware when eating here and CHECK YOUR PLATES. Especially if you have kids. This is not a form of getting attention or anything. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT REALLY HAPPENED AND NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. This is highly unacceptable and I will for sure be calling corporate and the health department first thing in the morning. I took the pictures and videos I could but one of the ladies who worked there snatched the plate away because she didn't want me to film.

I ask the server to replace it please ,she look at it and shaking the plastic cup , she said about 4 min to made a new one . NO SORRY or CREDIT IT . even just sorry word from them none ,I was so disappointed .Hopefully next time they will check what they serve and know how to apologize at least.

It seemed like BBH broth and regular pho broth was mixed to create a hybrid that seemed almost...thin. The meat additions were all very good and I found one of the pork additions to be delicious with a nice spice kick, almost like a salami flavor. Probably one of the best pieces of meat I've had in a BBH and the main reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 3. Service was good and I appreciated they left the water container for my personal use.

Pro: Very savory and flavorful. Portion Con: Not enough noodles. Pro: For only $3, they'll bring out an extra bowl of noodles + broth. Price Con: $17 is a bit pricier than other spots. Pro: Got a punch card at the end--buy 5, get 6th bowl free. Atmosphere Pro: The restaurant was very clean, had modern decor, and there was plenty of parking in the plaza. The bowl came with a pork leg, which I usually personally prefer they leave out and sub with other meats, but at least it was super tender--tendons were very tender as well which was great. It was also a little too spicy (I overheard a staff even commenting "it looks so bloody today" right before bringing it out). But with all things considered, I'm happy to bring my review back up to 4 stars.

One thing nice is one of our friends likes no spice so you can order the Larb and heat level everything else you can use the dry chilies or spicy sauce in the condiment containers to add spice. The Nam Khao is still my favorite we hadn't had the Larb before so it was nice to try something new. Also the owner was nice enough to let us try the Green Thai Tea. I'm not usually a Thai Tea person cause it can usually be too sweet but this one wasn't the perfect Asian compliment. it was our first time sitting outside the weather was perfect for it love the hanging umbrellas over head. Wish it was reusable cups for the hot tea. Would definitely come back

They tasted fresh and delicious as a great way to start the meal. I also ordered a grilled pork banh mi. The sandwich tasted great and had a nice balance of sweet and heat with the jalapeños. It had generous amounts of pork, pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro and jalapeños. Together, the flavors came together nicely. It is one of the best ones I've had. The ambiance was modern, nice and clean. They had nice background music playing. The employees that waited on me were nice and friendly. Their service was also good. Solid 3.5/5. Food…read more(2.5-4/5). We had 4 grilled pork vermicelli with egg rolls, 1 pho tai with beef meatballs, and 1 spring rolls. Vermicelli was a 3.5 as it was fresh and a good serving (4) but the grilled pork was on the cooler side and didn't taste as crisp and fresh off the grill as you'd expect (3). Best part of the pho was the broth as it wasn't too salty like it can be sometimes elsewhere (4). Veggies were super fresh. Sliced beef was previously sliced and the whole chunk was placed in so you had to tease apart the slices from each other which was a little different than my experiences elsewhere. SKIP THE SPRING ROLLS. Picture had three shrimps/roll. Ours had 1/roll on one side with a slice of pork (I think) on the other. Seemed pretty skimpy if you ask me (2.5 at best). Service was good (4). Location was in a small strip mall with a Mexican and Indian place next door. The bars over nearly the entire front storefront were definitely interesting. For an out-of-towner, this part of Kent seems like a Santa Ana/Westminister/Garden Grove of OC, CA kind of an area with different ethnic offerings up and down the street.
