Wanted Teriyaki and found this place. Wasn't too far away so why not. Walking inside there a lot of seating and the menu is right in front of you. The register to order is to the right of you and they wait there for to order. I ended up getting the Chicken & Katsu. The two tables I sat at were sticky and there weren't many people inside. The outside of sauce containers on table haven't been cleaned for a while. Chicken Teriyaki was kinda rough but was ok. Chicken Katsu was good. They don't give you a lot of food...but it's descent. Was craving some spicy chicken teriyaki and this was the closest spot. I called in to order and it was super fast service. The food was already ready to go by the time I got there. This is the first stop in Seattle after a long airport trip. We had our luggage in hand as we were dropped off in the area waiting for our airbnb. The staff was not the friendliest. The prices were overpriced and the portions were small. The food was hot and served quickly, however the quality wasn't the greatest. We were hungry from our long trip so we ate, but if we had transportation and were in the area again we would not eat here. The bathroom had an out of order sign though I saw people leaving it. Fresh off my plane I was starving and looked for nearby food. Teriyaki and Wok was close by and looked great. I ordered the Spicy Chicken teriyaki plate. Firstly the teriyaki plates are kind of pricy, maybe the proximity to the airport is part of that, but a teriyaki plate and drink was like $20. Got the food and it was really good. Chicken cooked well and the spicy sauce was really delicious! Came with two big scoops of rice and a side salad. I did try the salad dressing and skipped out on that, not my thing, but everything else was really good. Was a avid customer and enjoyed going to this spot until recently, they spoke poorly to me and also said a derogatory word under their breath when I explained that I wanted my food to go instead of plated. When I asked kindly they said verbatim "help yourself, we are not deaf you said you wanted it to be plated" my mouth was on the floor I asked again kindly for it to be placed in a box once again and then they whispered the derogatory word. I used to love the food here and the prices WERE great too. Now the prices are way higher, the portions of everything except the white rice are smaller, and I just got the worst Mongolian Beef that I have ever been served. Even calling it Mongolian Beef is a stretch, the beef is covered in gristle and it tastes like a mix of old oil and bad teriyaki sauce. This is the most basic teriyaki joint I have seen. White rice, lettuce and carrot salad, with teriyaki shrimp on a skewer. I appreciate that they deveined the shrimp A+. Plenty of sauces available to enhance your meal. Not fancy, but I'll take it. read more

This small (30 seats) family-run teriyaki joint has great food with quick, friendly service. Their portions are quite large for the price and the food is fresh and hot. I got the teriyaki chicken with five pieces of gyoza and was stuffed. While the teriyaki was great and the rice and salad tasty, I was most impressed with the gyoza. It was deep fried to a brilliant golden brown, crispy on the outside and oh so tender in the middle. Their gyoza sauce also had a nice little kick, a pleasant surprise. Cheap Asian comfort food in good quantities. Their potstickers and chicken katsu are perfect when I'm craving those, the teriyaki is tender and moist, and everything else I've tried is pretty much what you'd expect from a teriyaki joint but always yummy. The only thing I've had that I wouldn't order again is the curry- it's good, but I'm spoiled by having a good friend who does it better. They aren't gourmet, but for what they are, they are excellent. Part of the reason I go there so often is that they are always cheerful and friendly, like they really like their work and interacting with the public. The lady at the register goes out of her way to remember regulars too. Prices have gone up on a few items since the menu photos on this site were taken, but only by a few cents or a dollar. The only notable one is the 10 piece gyoza, which is $5-6 or thereabouts, I think. (Sorry, just ate it but already forgot.) read more

Vety vety guud. I got the Tofu Stir Fry and it was delicious... being plant based I was happy to know I could order something that actually tasted great. I preordered over the phone and was told it would be done in 5 mins. And it was.. I walk into the place for the first time and was shocked on how clean it was. The lady was smiling hard very positive very polite and was also very personal wanting to know how we were doing and about our day and also it made me feel it was genuine. I'm happy I came in to try this place for the first time. The food was good the place was clean and the customer service was excellent and that makes me want to go back for more. Teriyaki Beef and Teriyaki Pork here are great dishes. If you want a little bit of kick in your dish, order the Spicy Pork Teriyaki. I'd say it's the best teriyaki dish I've ever had. I typically pass on the included salad and they'll serve you the dish with a bit more white rice. I don't find the need to order extra teriyaki sauce, unless you order chicken (the few times I've ordered chicken, it's been a bit dryer than I'd like). Everything is made to order on a cooktop that's exposed to the rest of the restaurant. There are several tables for seating and bench seating that lines one side of the restaurant. Their menu is fairly simple, but if you're in the area, there's no need to travel further into the city to find a great teriyaki dish. Give it a try! read more

We always appreciate the warm welcoming smile when we walk through the doors and the genuine conversation we always strike up with the lovely couple who work in the front. Bless these folks hearts... This place has great food and never ever do they use frozen meat. Their spicy chicken is a favorite and portions are plenty! Good teriyaki sauce so any chicken is excellent! They are not in the most convenient location so unfortunately I worry about their future. They seem to be penny pinchers, sorta can tell because they are stingy with napkins and such. I have tried to offer them advice like offer buy one get one free and I would veen assist with advertising. But, sadly they only shake head and do not truly understand the risk they are in. Very Rude, unprofessional, inhospitable Asian couple that operates this restaurant. Unfortunately the food is good. I won't be going back. The lady took an order of mine. (Months ago) Gave me the wrong order. Similar to what I ordered but not what I wanted. Her husband, I'm assuming said to just give me the money back and refund me the food. I came back months later they refused to serve me because of the mistake that they made a while ago and I not wanting to eat what I didn't order.
