The quality, value, and flavour keep me coming back, and it's one of my go-to places for Vietnamese barbecue in Tacoma.

Service is quick and the workers are friendly. Their bánh mì đặc biệt (deluxe sandwich) and the cà phê sửa đá (iced condensed milk coffee) are my typical go-tos. The sandwich has layers of meat and portioned appropriately. The pâté adds a rich umami flavor and the Vietnamese bơ (mayo) gives it a buttery flavor. The veggies are always healthy and seem fresh. Also their jalapeños actually have a kick unlike most places I've been to. I recommend this staple to anyone looking for a solid Vietnamese sandwich in Tacoma. Great place to chill and have coffee to start your day. They have other foods like noodle soups, stews, and a rice plate. I haven't tried any of them, but it might be something I might look into in the future

I ordered the beef ribs pho and it was 10/10. The meat fell off the bones and was so flavorful and juicy. The broth itself was perfect. I usually add lots of hoisin and lime but this was perfect just the way it was. Wish I had found this place sooner, it's my new favorite spot for pho and I can't wait to try other items on the menu.

I was really looking forward to a comforting bowl of pho, but unfortunately, my experience here was pretty disappointing. The pho itself was bitter, with an off taste that honestly made it feel like the food had gone bad. The broth had a strange, spoiled flavor that I couldn't get past, and it left me questioning whether the ingredients were fresh. To add to the letdown, the spring rolls were a huge disappointment too. They were extremely thin--almost like they were made with the bare minimum of ingredients. It was more like a roll of paper than a spring roll, with very little filling and zero crunch. For the price, I expected so much more in terms of both quality and flavor. Overall, not a place I would return to. There are far better pho spots out there with fresher ingredients and more attention to detail. read more

Their small bowl of pho has a lot of meat but the service wasn't that great. They messed up our order about 5 times before they got it right. Their English is not that great and they don't speak Vietnamese at all (most of them are Korean). I had every intention of staying and ordering food afterward as a courtesy for using the restroom. Instead, I was treated with open disrespect in front of other patrons. I told her plainly that this behavior is exactly why I would not be spending money there and left. First impressions matter. The way a business treats people--especially potential customers--says everything. Based on this interaction alone, I would not recommend giving this place your business.
