Cold weather calls for soup, and what could be better or more comforting than a bowl of pho? Pho Tick Tock is located in a large plaza with plenty of parking. Upon entering, we were greeted and taken to a table promptly. I decided to go with #3 - pho combo and my husband decided to go with #2 - pho tick tock. Do note that the #2 comes as a "pho hot pot" style where the noodles, broth, and meats are all separate and you add them to the broth yourself. If you like presentation, #2 gives you a luxury or premium like feel with how it's played and served. Overall, the broth here is meaty but light. It's not too rich but you can tell they put careful consideration and time into perfecting the lightness of broth without compromising flavor. I enjoyed my pho from the broth to the noodles to the variety of meat cuts. However, one type of meat cut was extremely chewy and tough. Outside of that, the rest of the meat was tender. Although the price point is high ($18-19 for a bowl), the portion is very large. Unlike other pho places, there is only one size here. The #3 is definitely larger in terms of bowl size and amount of broth compared to #2 though. We were given a water jug to fill our own water as needed. Outside of them bringing us food, there were no other interactions with the servers. I'd certainly return when craving pho with a lighter broth. Their other dishes look delicious as well!
First time here and won't be my last! Luckily my son had a dance class across from this shopping center, and the pictures looked good, so had to try it! My hubby and I ordered the fresh spring rolls, now the peanut sauce was refreshing, tasted really good! Our main meal was the garlic noodles with Galbi (short rib) and garlic noodles with vegetarian shaken beef! You can pick rice instead of the garlic noodles, but I'm glad we picked it. Small restaurant in a shopping outlet, lots of parking, they don't play around with the flavors, I will be back!
This is one of those places that makes you wonder how you didn't come sooner. I have truly never seen a pho platter like this before! The Pho Tiktok Premium is massive and easily feeds four to five people. It is $100 and comes with four bowls, which breaks down to about $25 per person and is absolutely worth it. You can choose from regular pho noodles, thick noodles, vermicelli, or egg noodles, which makes it great for sharing with a group. Everything is served in a stone bowl, so the broth stays piping hot throughout the entire meal, which makes a huge difference! We also ordered the spring rolls, which were fresh and well balanced with herbs and great texture. A solid classic and a perfect way to start the meal. The crawfish salad was a standout for me. It is a Vietnamese goi style salad with crawfish and jackfruit, served with crispy shrimp chips. Super refreshing, unique, and easily a 10/10 For drinks, the strawberry green Thai was sweet, creamy, and fruity with a green tea base. The strawberry smoothie was blended with real strawberries and no syrup, which I really appreciated since it was not overly sweet. Overall, this is an excellent spot for a group pho night or if you want something fun and different from a standard bowl of pho. Highly recommend if you are in San Jose.
We came here to try a new pho spot for us! We got the fried shrimp roll for appetizer and it was very good, I thought it was tasty and the sauce on the side was perfect! We both got pho which had a sweeter style soup which I thought was tasty and they steam their bean sprouts which is always a plus. They offer the side of scallion oil to order which I always love to add to my soup. We also got aside of 2 prawns on the side which was good too! Overall a solid place for pho, they do open a little later at around 11am.
The broth here was pretty gooooood. Super beefy I must say! They have a lot of staff here, so they're pretty attentive. I recommend the wide noodles here! They are perfectly cooked and have a nice texture to them. The broth clings on well too. They are not stingy with the beef and it's thinly sliced. Overall a nice spot to try, especially after a workout at Crunch Fitness.
I really like this location because it's a great place to gather. They have a good sized covered outdoor seating space - each time I've passed by or have eaten here, someone is enjoying their food there. It's also nice for groups because they have the premium pho layout which is fun. For pho they offer fresh noodles here alongside the traditional type. I ordered the rare meat pho, but forgot to ask for the meat on the side unfortunately. Service is quick and straightforward so the best kind. You pay inside when you're ready. There is plenty of parking as it's located in a large plaza.
Ordered takeout for a team meeting and was delightfully surprised to see the care they put into the packaging - they labeled each person's order with their name so it was easy to distribute! (To be fair, I did write the names in the take out order; but the presentation and packaging was really nice nonetheless). I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and they were were SO good! Their vegetarian meat is so flavorful, and the dipping sauce was great too. I absolutely will be coming back here for their vegetarian items in the future.
If you find a place (not your mom's house ) that has better broth, let me know. I typically don't order Pho at restaurants cause my standards are pretty high so I opt for easier dishes like bun tom thit nuong, usually. THIS SH**, THIS SH** right here is some GOOD GOOD, pho broth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you give it a try and thank me later. These guys know how to cook tasty food. Drinks were also delish. We got the lemonade cloud, strawberry lemonade soda, green thai latte (this one has a stronger tea extract, than typical but still good).
Randomly ordered from GrubHub after spinning the Yelp wheel when I couldn't figure out to eat- and I definitely won the lotto! I always drive by but never tried, and I'm so glad I gave it a chance. I ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp and their flavors are UNMATCHED! The shrimp are HUGE, deveined, and plump! The sauce is oozing with aromatics with such bold flavors! I loved the garlic noodles because they were perfectly buttery and NOT oily! I saved the sauce to eat with rice and other seafood for the rest of the week! Loved it THAT much! This is a humble spot that you don't want to overlook!
Good new pho idea. The main attraction is the Premium ($100) board style beef selections. The soup was pretty average, but hot and enough to add raw and cold beef from the board and cooked. There was some flavor and especially texture to beef that traditionally added to the soup cannot attain. There are enough beef for more than 4, so recommend to come with more people and share the dish together.

Grilled shrimp with garlic noodles might be their best dish here. It was delicious. Pho Tick Tock was Instagram worthy; made for great pictures but taste was ok. Steaks were overdone and tough. They also didn't ask how well we wanted the steaks to be cooked. The seasoning/flavor was not bad but the meat was too tough to chew. Clean and simple inside. I went here with mini me, my sister, snd my niece for our lunch today. We're aiming to try their pho with charcuterie meat but they didn't have it and the staff who was very nice couldn't tell when will they have it since the cook didn't know also lol. The staff then suggested to try the house special since according to her it's quite similar to the charcuterie one but it's for individual, so yeah four of us ordered it. First of all the presentation of this noodle was very different from the regular pho. It's amazing and mouth watering. I ordered the chewy thin noodles with it. The meats were so good and tender. The broth was flavorful and super hot since it came in a stone pot. The portion was very generous. It's a satisfying and comforting meal for us. It's a casual place just like most pho place but this pho place is on the top level of pho. Sadly this pho place it's quite far from me so I won't be able to go often, but we'll be back someday. read more

This place is my FAVORITE place to get pho!! Their broth is so flavorful and spot on. The meat is sooo good, always tender and delicious. I go here any chance I get and they are so consistent they never disappoint every time I go. Service is good and ambiance is great, I love going here to catch a sports game while eating. It's been years (pre-pandemic) since I've been to Pho Tick Tock but we decided to pop in on a whim. It's in a strip mall with Dollar Tree & Grocery Outlet and they are currently opening a Burlinton and Sprouts store. It is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is very pleasant and clean. We were served immediately and our waiter was nice. The food came out quick and everything was good! I loved the numerous sides they give with the pho so you can customize to your liking and the garlic noodles were perfect! I'll definitely have to come back more often. read more

The lady working was super friendly!! We just wanted a menu, and she held it ever so politely so we could take pictures. Needless to say, we ate in for dinner tonight. The resteraunt is fairly quiet, relaxing music in the back geound and STILL PLAYING FOOTBALL HECK YES!!! Chicken Skewers: Personally, this was the best tasting option brought to our table. Warm and very flavorful. Fried Shrimp Egg Rolls: These were presented beautifully and not in a way i have ever seen before. Literally a whole prawn inside the wrapper with some veggies. Very impressed. Shaken Beef with Vermicelli (vegan option): Shrimp with Garlic Noodles: Good and fresh prawns. Crispy garlic on the top with green onions was the kicker. #7 add eggroll and shrimp: My daughter HATES pho. She did, however, enjoy this. Skip the eggrolls, though (trust me). Cajun Shrimp with Garlic Noodles: this was good. Very similar to the garlic noodles with shrimp, just added sauce. All of our food was fresh, beautifully presented, and served quickly. Was craving pho and came here. Walking in the interior is clean and neat with a cute watch at the entrance. We were greeted and seated promptly. We had a large table of 10 and they were able to accommodate us. I ordered the number 3 which is a pho combination and my cousin ordered the house special. The house special came in a stone bowl with the meat on the side. The broth was hot so you can cook the beef in the bowl. The idea is fun but the flavor wasn't there for me. The broth was smooth but it didn't have much flavor. It definitely needed more bone flavor. You can also choose between thin noodles or wide for any bowl of pho. My pho was the combination 3 and it was good but I needed to drown it in sauce to make it more flavorful. read more
Went here with my parents because they raved so much about how good it was here and how they've been wanting to take us so we can try their garlic noodles. We finally did! Ambience: clean and very inviting. Cleanliness is everything in a restaurant and organization because it entices the consumer to eat and also have the sense that the handling of the food is also up to the health standards. Customer service: The employees were super friendly! It was my first time there and I had no idea what to order, and my mom was trying to order for me the garlic noodles with shrimp. But I wanted to try their garlic noodles (cajun style). Stubborn me. LOL. I was very pleased with how patient the lady was taking our orders. She was very helpful in making the selection telling me that the cajun style wasn't spicy and the sauce was on the side. My husband got the shaking beef with garlic noodles and same with my nephew. My son got a kid's size pho with meatballs. Food: The wait for the food wasn't that long. If you think about it, food that comes out fast usually means it's not fresh. So if you wait a few minutes and it takes time, it's because the food is fresh off the grill and newly cooked. No reheating, no nuking in the microwave kind of deal. So it's worth the wait. I tried their Classic Thai Tea as well, and my son and nephew both tried the Strawberry Soda Lemonade. It was refreshing. The meat for the shaking beef was really tender and just melted in your mouth. The garlic noodles were super yummy! The cajun style garlic noodles was a little on the salty side, but it could be because the sauce was permeating through the noodles from the shrimp. I'll probably order the regular garlic noodles with shrimp next time. That's the only reason why I'm giving the place a 4/5 rating. I'll update my review the next time I come here. needed a pho place to eat around 7/8 p.m. & found this place to be open until 10 p.m.! v good service & everyone was so friendly, our order came out really quick after we placed it & i really liked the hotpot pho concept, you place in all your ingredients into your stone pot in the order that you want! we also got the garlic noodles & deep fried tofu which i thought was okay, but would def return for the pho! read more

The food was decent, it wasn't like the normal items and less selection (I guess only kept what's popular) like they serve in other Vietnamese restaurants around the bay, but the portions are great and serve alcohol & teas , service they short staff so they forget a lot of things , so politely just remind them. They around running around trying to get other tables orders . Ambiance is nice and they can support 10 people groups if you reserve or it isn't busy. So they have inside and outside sitting for large groups. Tv galore to watch the game : but don't remember seeing an out side tv ? FYI there's a another pho place in the same strip mall I thought it was tik tok , so look up to see the sign read more

This was my first time coming here, but I was really disappointed with the food, especially the Pho TikTok. It costs $19, which is quite expensive, but the portion was small, with very little soup and meat--not worth the price. On top of that, the taste was not as good as other restaurants I've been to. It would be much better if you added more vegetables to complement the dish and the soup more hot as well read more

I have visited this place several times and have always been seated promptly. During my last visit, I noticed that the menu seemed to be smaller than before, although I'm unsure if they have separate menus for different times of day. Some of my favorite dishes to order include the pho tai with egg noodles, garlic noodles (comes with shrimp), and the com bo luc lac (shaking beef). While the pho tai with egg noodles is delicious, I wish there were more noodles in the bowl. Fortunately, the pho broth is not overly saturated with fish sauce like in other places, and it has the perfect balance of spices. The meat-to-noodle ratio is decent. The egg noodles are on the thinner side which are my fav egg noodles. The garlic noodles have great flavor, and although I don't think they have chili oil (CO) I highly recommend eating them with CO. Without the CO, the noodles are probably the driest I have ever had in a garlic noodle dish, which is not terrible but not the best either. Regardless, I'd still order this again. It also comes with broccoli. Just to reiterate here, the flavor of the dish is great -- I just love CO and wanted to note that it pairs perfectly.. haha Lastly, the BEST dish, in my opinion, is the com bo luc lac. I could eat this dish from Pho Tick Tock for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dish comes on separate plates, with one being a sizzling plate with beef, onions, and bell peppers, and the other plate being perfectly shaped rice. Other notes: Outside dining is available, the restaurant is generally well-kept and clean, and there's only one bathroom (private single toilet). The staff is very friendly and attentive. There was three of us came for lunch on a weekday around 11ish. There was only one table inside the restaurant. My second time here. Decoration inside the restaurant is nice and modern. Large menu selections. Service was not very fast considering there was only one other tables in the restaurant. During our dining time, only one other table came after us. We asked for water and hot tea. However, we got our appetizer before getting our drinks. Server was probably not very experienced. I ordered their special beef noodle soup. Nice presentation. However, brother was rather blend, not much of flavor. Towards the middle/end of my meal, I noticed there were a couple strands of bonus hair on my food(see pictures). That was a turn off. read more

3 stars for the food but minus one because the order received was incorrect. My guy and I decided on an order of Pho Tick Tock's MI TOI TOM [Garlic Noodles with Shrimp] but ended up with garlic noodles and THIT NUONG [grilled pork]. While the grilled pork was cooked well, seasoned perfectly, and tasted delicious- it was a huge letdown to open up a box that clearly wasn't mine. Pork can't possibly compare to shrimp, am I right??? Noodles were cooked al dente which is greatly appreciated since I've had my share of mushy, overcooked garlic noodles one too many times. Be aware that the noodles used in this dish is nothing more than your average spaghetti pack. The flavoring was good but I wouldn't consider them as "garlic noodles". They had more of an Asian twist & taste to them- good but not something i was expecting when ordering this dish. I'll think about coming back to try the shrimp dish that I initially came here for but if I'm actually craving garlic noodles, I'd probably pass on Pho Tick Tock and head to Clawshack not too far from here. read more
