I originally came for the pho charcuterie board but ended ordering the pho tick tock. The pho charcuterie board itself looked so fun to try! We started with the Strawberry Lychee tea, it was overly sweet and the tea was super strong. We ordered the pho tick tock because it reminded me of Vietnam. It's really popular in Vietnam to serve pho in a piping hot stone pot with fresh noodles and deconstructed. The pho itself did not disappoint, the broth was piping hot which I loved and they had so many options of meat. I will definitely coming back in the future to try the pho charcuterie board! read more

The good: Time's running out and you cannot decide what to eat. The clock is tick-tocking! Ding ding! Pho Tick Tock to the rescue! You don't need to decide what to eat until you come here because the menu is huge! I tried the bánh canh giò heo (pork feet udon noodle), chicken stir fry noodles with garlic, and pho with smoky beef. This is a go-to place for my aunt and uncle who are well versed in their San Jose Vietnamese eats options. This is a great spot for those who cannot decide on what dish they want or folks coming in a group with a lot of differing opinions on what to eat. They have both indoor and outdoor dining options. It's casual but modern. The bad: This hasn't been our go-to place because we tend to go to restaurants that specialize in one dish but I cannot find a fault to this place! Drove all the way from the North Bay to try out this pho place because I saw it on TikTok. Overall my bowl of pho was good. It is different from traditional pho restaurants. Being able to cook my own noodle, meats, and veggies in a hot stone bowl was the whole new experience to me. The bowl was BOILING HOT but the server spilled some of the hot soup on my husband's thigh. According to my husband, it was still really hot after went through 3 layers of fabric. Servers, the bowl and the soup are super duper HOT so PLEASE AVOID GOING NEAR ANY KIDS. The server passed the hot bowl of soup between my husband and my daughter. I believe the server then realized she supposed to avoid my daughter so that's why she spilled hot soup on my husband's thigh. Later the server brought a drink to the table as an apology. I also believe the plastic water pitcher needs a better wash. read more

The portion size for the pho is massive! I got the pho ga (chicken pho) and all of the ingredients were super fresh and they also give you a lot of chicken. We also got some kind of vietnamese crawfish salad and it was interesting I would pass on this. read more

The hot stone bowl was a little gimmicky but the flavor is fire. You can ask for "beef broth oil" to add to your broth to add even more flavor. The goi cuon and pork chop were delicious. Pork chop was super tender. The best item are the fried chicken wings. They make it with a sweet fish sauce. Omg. Will come back again just for this! read more

I've come here a couple times, and it's never busy. Decent size venue in a large plaza with ample parking. There's both indoor and outdoor seating so it's great for any size group. Service is hit or miss but food made to order in about 10-15min. 4/10 Viet Coffee $6.75- absolutely trash. It's already 50% ice and the picture shown is how it comes 70% filled (I did not drink yet either)??? Flavor wise the coffee wasn't that strong nor was it as creamy as authentic viet coffee. 7/10 Pho Tick Tock $18 - Pretty average for my standards? Everything from broth to meats and noodles were standard so it wasn't really outstanding but still good pho. 10/10 Grilled Pork Chop Garlic Noodles $14 - FIRE. This is the star dish! I'd recommend getting the garlic noodles from here as a must get. They use A LOT of garlic so it's very flavorful and well seasoned. The pork chop is my preferred protein and they made it tender, seared well, and also good marinade. Could use more veggies but still best garlic noodles I've had. To explain the hit or miss service: I once ordered garlic noodles with pork chop to go but they messed up the order and used pork skewer meat instead but when I mentioned I asked for grill pork not skewered the person in the back spoke in viet saying "oops it's already made" and the cashier proceeded to lie to me and say they don't do grilled pork chop only skewered pork for this dish LOLOL Total bullshit as seen from the photo that i ordered the same garlic noodles with pork chop the first time i went. The skewer meat ended up still being good in terms of flavor but the lying leaves a bad taste for business. read more

Service: Pho took quite a while to be come out. Asked them to cook bean sprouts. Waiter said okay, but they didn't cook them. There's only one bathroom. It was dirty. Pee all over ground and toilet seat. Water puddles on ground too. Food: presentation was good, however pho was not up to par. It was a bit salty but that's it. That's all you taste. No other flavors of spice. They ran out of fresh noodles. We had to get thin noodles or egg noodles only. Order fried chicken for the kids. They were fragrant. Smelled fish sauce from in without having to move my head towards it. Kids said they were good. Ordered them garlic noodles. They were garlicky. These looked plain but more tasteful than the pho. read more

Presentation wise, the food was beautiful, especially if the Pho Tick Tock (House Special Stone Bowl) was ordered. For its price and what you get, it's great! Flavor of the broth wise, I feel like it was lacking a little bit and felt it was bland and didn't have as much beef flavor as it could've. The additional orders of scallions and pickled onion helped (for me) but as how it is on its own, it wasn't the greatest. The garlic noodles were good and had a decent amount of garlic flavor and umami flavor, though. While ordered as an appetizer, this came out at the very end for us when we were halfway through with our pho, so we had to take this home and finished it the next day (just as good). While we were seated immediately and staff was quick to check up on us to place our order in, we didn't get our food out until an hour later, and parties that were seated after us had already gotten their order(s), finished and left. This was before the dinner rush and take out orders even started. We had to re-ask for a couple of things since it got amiss but the workers did try their best to give you everything that is asked. Service was good for how busy it looked like the restaurant was getting as tables were starting to fill up and they always apologized after. read more

Their pork and egg roll vermicelli was nothing short of what we expected. Pork was packed with flavor and the vermicelli was packed into our take out box. The egg roll filling wasn't what I was expecting. The noodle soup with chicken was a bit underwhelming but overall delicious. Will have to try dining in person. read more

Amazing customer service! Came here with my family since my parents are visiting town. We were a party of 7 and they moved tables and chairs to help accommodate us. As soon as we got seated we were immediately helped and we had placed appetizers, drinks, and main food. Spring rolls and shrimp tempura were delicious! I ordered white meat chicken pho, I was expecting a regular size bowl but as soon as they came out with the phos I couldn't believe my eyes! They were huge bowls!!! The broth tasted amazing and not salty at all, the noodles were thin just as I ordered. You could ask them to be thick or thin. I preferred thin noodles. And the chicken was good sliced as well. I finished everything including the broth which I rarely do. 10/10 and will definitely be coming back read more

3.5 stars. The restaurant is located in a large shopping center with 24-hour Fitness. The service was nice, friendly, and quick. Nicely decorated and clean establishment. They have bottled wine displayed, and the place is spacious. Hmmm...that is why it is called a "restaurant and wine bar." There are so many different menu options that I appreciate. They are definitely not your typical Vietnamese pho place. I wanted to try the number 1 but didn't have too much time, so I went with the #3. Pho Combination: Rare beef filet mignon, flank, brisket, tendon, and meatballs. All noodle soups come with a fresh side of veggies (bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, lime) and sauce (Hoison sauce, siracha). They also ask your preference of thin or wide rice noodles. The pho came out piping hot, so you had to move your filet mignon around. Otherwise, it would overcook. Broth was savory but slightly salty. Good place. I am definitely super excited we finally gets to eat here at this Pho Tick Tock restaurant!!! I have been wanting to stop by this place for quite sometime now. With their unique settings, Spacious Indoor/ Outdoor seatings area, Friendly, Warm, Welcoming, Pleasant Artworks, wall Paintings, Vibrant Vintage looking interior, and a large selections of various different dishes on the menu, are some of the main reasons why This Vietnamese Restaurant stood out more then the other pho place in the Bay Area. My wife and I came to Pho Tick Tock restaurant on Saturday at 1:30 pm. The ambiance was charming and unique. We were seated, and a waitress assured us she'd be right with us. However, minutes passed-by, and she hadn't returned to take our orders. Finally, she arrived and took our orders. We ordered Pho Tick Tock and Gỏi Tôm appetizer. They brought the Pho Tick Tock out to our table first. After we finished eating the pho, they brought the Gỏi Tôm appetizer out. However, they didn't provide us with hot tea or water. When the waiter brought the pho out, the soup was extremely hot. This is when you should add all the meats to cook properly. Even after I finished eating all the pho, the soup remained hot, which was impressive. read more

TLDR: Garlic Lovers only! I like places that try to specialize in something... do something a little different... AND do it better than anyone else. Yeah, this is a pho place... one amongst hundreds of Pho restaurants around here (near Little Saigon). Just like I would go to Pho Ga An Nam for their Chicken Pho and rice dishes, I would come here for their Garlic. Garlic-haters beware! They put garlic in EVERYTHING. So I ordered the grilled pork chop with rice. 3 pieces of thin but wide chops, garnished with.... you guessed it, dried garlic. It was tasty, especially with the accompanying fish sauce. I also like they serve some salad as well. It's a complete lunch meal in one dish! Not much else to say. The place has a nice outdoor patio... it's cordoned off and everything. But I prefer to eat inside... away from the smog of cars driving past in this tiny strip mall. The place is usually not crowded, which is perfect for any sudden "I don't feel like cooking" dinners. Servers were nice and polite, and I got my meal within a reasonable time. A little bit on the slower side as compared to Pho Kim Long. And the price was reasonable. $16 for the lunch. read more

Came in for the boss birthday and we wanted to try the Pho beef platter. The Pho beef platter is for 4 people but can feed 6 to me. It was huge and lots of meat. It comes with choice of noodles every one can choose their own. Separate bowls of piping hot beef broth and veggies. It really didn't disappoint and I'm not a fan of PHO. My GF who is Vietnamese said it's authentic and good. I like the fact the meat was not smelly as well. I also thought it would not be tender, but all was cooked perfect. Other co worker had the vegetarian beef noodle bowl with egg roll and he said it was great although he did not care for the sauce much as too sweet. Typically you would get the fish sauce but being vegetarian they had a different sauce. Veggie egg roll was ok and the fried tofu basil was excellent. Tea drinks had too much ice. Service was a little slow as only two people holding down the fort and there was lots of catering orders so they knock those out first. Then the food started to come out. Restaurant itself is cozy and roomy. Don't feel claustrophobic with no room to walk. Over all food was good and would come back to try other dishes as well. read more

A little different this time around. Usually order the Pho but because I've seen a ton of people order these sizzling platters, I want to try some. The service is great - friendly and quick throughout. The sizzling New York strip I ordered was quite satisfying with tons of garlic and onions to add to the flavor. The sauce is goes well with the steak but be warned, it burns easily. Another thing to note is to flip the steak once so I you can get an even cook. I ordered my steak with garlic noodles. While not bad, it leaned towards subtle flavors, offering a milder taste that might suit those seeking a more delicate garlic experience. Overall, a delightful grilled menu with a some EDM music played throughout. read more

We literally drove across town just to try this hype. I hate it when the place is overrated with all these yelp reviews/tiktok videos who knows if it's even real, then it doesnt meet any of your expectations. First of all, the place is NOT clean. Toilet is soooo dirty. The place's location is like in a death zone out of nowhere! But we decided to drive an hour just to hope we would have some good azz pho. We came in and there were just us and another table and i did have a bad feeling before we even stepped in, i should have trust my instinct. Food was terrible ( how is this place still surviving). I had pho ga and it was the worst pho ga i ever had. I even asked the server for recommendations, he said pho ga dai is good. We also had the famous tick tock pho and the meat balls tasted like its gone bad. And its just ruined the whole thing. I almost threw up eating that shit and now just thinking about the fact i ate spoiled food and paid for it and drove hours, and also tipped just made me so mad. Do not trust those reviews and do me a favor, stick with ur pho place. Dont waste ur time and money!!! read more

Drink orders were taken, a basket of yummy chips and 3 bowls of really HOT salsa brought to the table. The menfolk each ordered the Fajitas Mixta (shrimp, carne asada, and chicken), and we women ordered the 3-item combo plates served with rice & beans. Service as always was genuine and friendly. You can tell, they are happy to see you and serve you. However, the service was a little slow due to the packed restaurant. It took us awhile to flag people down to bring us utensils, to-go boxes and our checks. I'm sure this will improve as they get used to larger crowds in their new environment. But the kitchen forgot my order and the owner was nice enough to upgrade my order to a super taco: served with your choice of meat, whole beans, onions, cilantro, tomato, avocado, and cheese on a homemade corn/flour tortilla. Maintaining a proper wine menu when all you do is natural wine can certainly be a challenge. If you wine flights depending on what you have would certainly elevate the customer experience by educating more people natural wine and helping them make better choices when it comes to a bottle purchase. I paid $61 for a bottle that was recommended, and at that price point I wonder how many people who are new to natural wine might be turned off. Chris was a wonderful host and certainly the right person to engage with customers around their various wines. Given how small the space is and how busy it can get, a weekly tasting flight menu might be a good way to engage those customers who are waiting to order at the bar and perhaps even spark a more productive conversation with Chris. We ordered the peach and ricotta dish with Thai basil... wow, a wonderful surprise. Peaches are always battling in and out of the top spot on my summer fruit list and this combination was downright dirty and delicious! We also ordered the raw oysters with watermelon mignonette. Another wow! I didn't expect the little spice kick and it was a perfect pairing to the sweetness of the watermelon. If anyone knows the recipe let me know, I'd bottle that mignonette and take it with me wherever I have oysters!! Overall, a great experience and I most definitely look forward to going back!
