    Combination pho

I've yet to find a good bahn mi outside of Orlando but today my search ended. Not only do they do the bread right but they use pate AND butter for extra unctuous decadence. Packed with crisp veggies and tender meats, I will absolutely order one every time. The soft/fresh rolls were well wrapped and filled with a good ratio, the peanut sauce was some of the best I've had, not too sweet or salty, perfect consistency. I was a bit disappointed in the bun bo hue, the broth was rather sweet, not very spicy, and it had thin slices of brisket and lunch meat which most places I've had it do thicker stew-like chunks of beef. However some lime and extra chili sauce helped tone down the sweet and amp up the spicy. The combination pho won my dad's heart. While still a bit more sweet than I like, the spices came through beautifully. The meats were all cooked well so the tripe and tendon were easily bit through and the beef slices weren't dried out. Our server, Kiel, was fun and attentive. Not much in the way of decor which is fine, the food and service shine bright enough as it is.

We gave Pho To Luv a fair shot, but unfortunately it fell short. We ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls, which were bland and underwhelming. Also, the shredded iceberg lettuce on the side was odd... traditionally this should be served with whole lettuce leaves for wrapping, not chopped salad-style. We also had the Combination Beef Noodle Pho (Pho Dac Biet). The broth leaned noticeably sweet and lacked the depth, aroma, and balance you'd expect from an authentic Vietnamese pho. It also appeared quite oily, which further took away from the overall experience. Service-wise, the servers were polite and tried their best, but there were clear kitchen issues. Two other tables were served before us due to an admitted "oopsie," which didn't help the experience. Overall, we were not impressed. There is a lot of room for improvement, especially when it comes to flavor authenticity and kitchen execution. We really wanted to like this place, but it missed the mark.

High quality pho. Broth was a little sweet for me but still super tasty. All the herbs were very fresh. Egg rolls we're very good. Staff was very service oriented. Nice outdoor patio when it's not too hot.

Nothing like pho on a rainy day!

Service was fantastic and the pho was so good! Broth was delicious and plenty of rare steak in my bowl! It also happened to be a slightly cooler, rainy day so it was the perfect dinner!

Deliciously authentic. The pho broth was so refreshing! I was very amazed with my Vermicelli dish was perfect. Definitely a great place to dine in if you're in the Daytona Beach area. We will visit again when we're in the area!

Clean space with delicious food and attentive service. We tried the Bún bò Huế and the Combo Pho. Both were big huge portions of comforting broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh garnishes. The Vietnamese Coffee was also very good, with a robust flavor. They serve it as a drip over condensed milk that you can pour into a glass. Also love that they serve pebble ice! Made our Diet Coke extra crispy.

Don't come here wasting time and money the food is trash, I'm Vietnamese and I know Vietnamese sandwiches be like.

I ordered to-go and the food arrived really quickly yet the soup was hot and fresh. They put the noodles and other ingredients separately from the broth so they didn't get mushy which i appreciated since i had a long drive home. The guy who checked me out was very nice and helped me carry the order out the door. The summer rolls were good and had a nice peanut sauce and so was the bun bo hue but it could have been more spicy.

A new favorite spot of mine! Truly the best spring rolls and peanut sauce I've had. I've been craving it since! And an absolutely delicious bowl of Pho cooked to perfection. I highly reccomend. The staff is so nice and very attentive as well and there's a cozy ambiance inside. Can't wait to try more items on the menu!

I've driven by this place so many times and finally decided to give it a try on a Sunday, especially since my favorite restaurant was closed. I'm so glad I did! The beef pho was absolutely phenomenal, and I also tried the pork banh mi, which is one of my favorite Vietnamese sandwiches. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Who knew I'd find comforting Vietnamese food across from the Speedway!…read more I had just flown into Daytona Beach and, after settling into my hotel room, I came to Mama's Kitchen for dinner. Right away, we were greeted by a young lady and gentleman, and were directed to sit at one of the tables. The restaurant was clean and spacious. They had a cute little Vietnamese cart in the middle of the restaurant to bring a bit of Vietnam into its design. They also had a wall with a beautiful drawing. We ordered a few things from their menu, starting off with egg rolls and Bahn Mi with sweet potato fries. Whatever dip it came with was delicious - and that's coming from someone who doesn't like the orange sweet potatoes! We also ordered entrees such as their Bo Kho and Bo Ne. Both stews were delicious. For drinks, we had a Tamarind drink and a Kumquat drink - both of which were refreshing. Overall, I really liked the food here. And the decor was simple and the service was attentive. The gentleman who brought our food out was also very careful with making sure there were no peanuts in any of our dishes. I'd love to come back here again on my next visit and try a new dish!

Ate at this restaurant during September 2026 on a weekend during the dinner hour. The business was…read morenot very busy at the time. My wife ordered the "Pho Mama" and I ordered the "Bo Ne". We did not order any beverages other than water. The service was very slow and I almost got up to remind our server that we had ordered food and were still waiting. I sampled my wife's pho and found it had a good flavor. The tendon and tripe were over cooked and a bit mushy. The other meats were cooked ok. The plate of condiments (bean sprouts, basil and peppers) were very skippy. At $18, I felt the Pho needed to be better. At $20, the Bo Ne lacked in a few areas and following this dining experience I probably wouldn't order it again. First off, I ordered this dish because it looked good and from the picture. On the menu it says "Vietnamese beef tenderloin" on the menu. The dish I was served looked much different than what I saw on the menu. The pickled carrots and radish must of had the day off on this night. Back to the tenderloin. In my years as a chef, I will tell you that there is only one piece of meat that is more tender than any other cut of meat from the cow and that is the tenderloin. What was served me was closer related to a tough cut or sirloin that tightened up so much when cooked, that every piece of meat I had to chew and chew to get past the grizzle. Once chewed, I needed to remove the meat from my mouth. See picture of the bread basket for the remnants of their so called beef tenderloin. The sauce that the meat was swimming in had a good taste. The liver pate was bland and was melting away into the sauce of the dish. One positive note about the experience is that the bread was superb! We may go back again sometime in the future but not any time soon.

2 Stars I hate…read moregiving anyone a two-star review, especially for breakfast--my favorite meal of the day--but unfortunately, this one just missed the mark for us. The biggest issue was the quality of the food. If you're going to charge around $15 for a breakfast, put a good-quality sausage patty on the grill. It doesn't take much to make a flavorful sausage gravy from scratch either, but this gravy tasted like it came straight from a bag or can and had almost no flavor. The biscuits themselves were actually pretty good, but pouring margarine over the top completely changed the taste. The sausage patties weren't very good and seemed like they'd been left on the grill too long. The fried potatoes were decent, and so was the sourdough toast. The staff was nice and working hard--they were extremely busy. There were a lot of people in line, so clearly plenty of people enjoy the breakfast here, and the place itself has an interesting atmosphere. The price didn't help. $4 for a Sprite is overkill. We had one breakfast with an egg, sausage, toast and home fries, one waffle, half an order of biscuits and gravy, and drinks, and the bill was over $40. At that price point, I simply expect better-quality breakfast ingredients. This is just our experience and opinion. The staff was friendly, and considering how busy they were, I give them credit for that. Maybe we'll give it another shot next year, but this time around, the quality just didn't match the price.
