Our 2nd visit here in the last 6 months. Forgot to leave a review after the 1st visit but everything was the same. Great food, great service, great drinks and fantastic beer selection. This visit was a weekday lunch. Good lunch crowd but still able to enjoy conversation, the music and plenty of tables and booths available. Our server, Thy T was friendly, professional and taking care of all the customers as far as we could tell with others cleaning the tables. She even looked to be taking care of a number of the people at the bar! We ordered 2 meals off the weekday $11.95 lunch specials. The portions were the perfect size for the price and included a soup or spring roll! We had the Brown sauce with mixed vegetables and chicken, the soft egg noodle with pork and a soft spring roll and a crispy spring roll for our $11.95 specials. We also ordered the combination rice claypot ($16). For beverages we had the Taro milkshake ($7.25) and a Cookies and Dream Imperial Stout ($8) draft. We just completed our second visit in a week. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service is outstanding. I would normally not post A second review so quickly, but I had to make an exception this time to get in a plug for the Hot & Sour Soup. It is the best I have ever had, no question. We were in the mood for sushi tonight so decided to try Bamboo Garden, my husband and I had checked out their online sushi menu. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated at a booth with menus. Unfortunately they no longer serve sushi. We looked over the menu and I decided to try something I've never tried. Our server took our drink order which was a bottle of Cabernet wine. I ordered the combination clay pot and my husband ordered the seafood combination clay pot. I honestly was a little worried because it has fish sauce in it and that can be a powerful flavor. Our dinners were brought out and they were absolutely delicious. The seasoning was so tasty, my combination had shrimp, beef, pork and chicken in it along with broccoli, mushrooms, baby corn and bok choy as well as bamboo shoots but the rice on the bottom was so good it was actually crispy rice...just delicious!! The inside of restaurant was very clean and the bar look good with the pink lights. Everyone was very friendly and we will definitely be back again. There are are 2 maybe 3 places that are OK. Well, I think i finally found a good place. The owner greeted me upon entering. He was very nice and helpful. He offered me a big menu as the take out menu was small with small print. I really didn't know what i wanted but had an idea. Dumplings, Wanton soup, shrimp fried rice, and a basil chicken, which he recommended. He asked if I wanted something to drink, so I went to the bar as I waited for my order. The place had a few TVs, a full bar, and plenty of tables. These folks are lucky to be open since they opened the doors 2 weeks before Covid. Slowly their business has been doing better and better. No doubt. When I got home, we attacked the food. The soup was good. The dumplings were the biggest ones I've seen and had in a long while. The taste was better than expected. Great start. The shrimp fried rice had the biggest shrimp I've seen in a restaurant rice ever. Just the way I make it. The chicken was flavorful with a good amount of veggies and chicken. If you haven't figured it out by now, this place is the bomb. Great food, cheap. Good service. Nice place with plenty of parking. Nice owners. I highly recommend this place. First time here. I got the combination fried rice, rocket shrimp, and Thai iced tea as takeout. The food was pretty good and the food was ready when I arrived. The only complaints I have were that the boba in my Thai tea were more gummy than I've ever had, not in a great way. Also when I arrived they were pretty much empty but the only two servers were at a single table, nobody at the desk, a younger girl behind the bar unaware of anything outside her phone screen, and a guy toward the kitchen watching the tv and ignoring he saw me waiting. For a cold and breezy day like today. Soup and wings were the right choice. It was a win-win because it was delicious, tasty and surprisingly fresh! The soup was clear and perfectly steaming hot just right for this weather to keep me warm--at least until I get back outside lol. As for the wings they were lightly breaded, cooked to perfection with a tangy but mouthwatering of spicy and sweet chili sauce that danced at my pallet with enough contrast of sweetness with a hint of spice that married both sweet and chili excellently. We went to Bamboo Garden Saturday evening. We're new to the area and am glad we found such a nice restaurant nearby. The area was very clean, decorated great, but not over done and not "cheesy". My hubs had a combo platter w/3 meats and shrimp I believe. I had a pork rice noodle stir fry. The meats were tender and tasty, the veggies just the right crispness. We had an excellent dinner here. It's Vietnamese with a few other Asian offerings to please the locals. We started by sharing their "soft" spring roll (aka summer roll). We got it with shrimp only (leaving out the pork). It came with peanut sauce. It was tightly wrapped and good. My husband had their pork rice noodle salad bowl -- with lots of thinly sliced cooked pork on top of bean sprouts, salad greens, and rice noodles. The sweet vinegar sauce was served on the side. He liked his dish. I tried one of their clay pot dishes. I've usually had this dish with fish (which they had) but decided to try it with pork. It's an acquired taste - not as spicy or peppery as they say. But more savory. It's basically a lot thinly sliced cook pork and the sauce with a few scallions. It was excellent. A small bowl of white rice was served on the side -- which I used to sop up all the remaining sauce. I'd definitely go back here again -- if ever in the area. So glad to support this local, family-owned business. We were actually the first diners to enter after they opened at 3pm and we were warmly greeted. The atmosphere gives off a relaxing modern vibe with its faintly lavender walls and black and white tiled ceiling. Soothing instrumental music played in the background. There is definitely something for everyone on the menu. They also serve beer, wine, cocktails and Boba tea. We ordered steamed gyōza , orange chicken, and pad Thai. The orange chicken definitely had a very tasty sauce! You could really taste fresh orange and a bit of ginger. However, we preferred the chicken to be cooked a bit less so that it would retain its juiciness. The pad Thai was good, but I wouldn't exactly call it pad Thai. A sudden need for Chinese food at lunch landed us at Bamboo Garden. This unassuming restaurant (located in a strip mall) is actually quite pretty inside and offers a wide variety of Asian dishes. The PadThai was delicious; perfectly spiced with a nice assortment of Asian veggies and a good amount of chicken. My companions were also quite happy with their food.
