Grilled pork with rice
Maggie C.

First time trying this place out. Came in and it was very clean and staff were very welcoming. The food was pretty good. One of our favorite dish was the grilled pork with rice. The portion was a very decent size. We were too hungry and didn't get to take a picture of other dishes but we would def be back

Came in on a Tuesday, 5pm and it was empty. Plenty of parking. I didn't like that water was served in little plastic cups. Asked for the summer rolls, but they said they didn't have any for the day, (which I thought was strange considering how easy it is to make) Service was alright, only one server and one FOH, both weren't really attentive. 2 bun thit nuong 1 bun bo hue ~$48

Beautiful interior and very spacious. The service was fast but I feel like they need to work on timing of when the food comes out. Our table ordered two phos and two rice dishes. By the time the rice dishes came out the people with the pho already finished their food. Now the food. The meats for the phos are great! The soups are a bit more savory than what I am use to for pho but still really good! The galbi short rib is ok. The meat was a bit tough. The pork chop was great! 5/5. The sugarcane juice is good and reasonably priced very refreshing 5/5.

I don't know why I waited so long to order here but I'm glad I did today. We ordered takeout. It was well packaged and came with all of the extras you'll need for a good Pho. Everything was still hot when I got home and it was all delicious.

A lot of Vietnamese people were here as we walked in so that was a good sign. Indeed the soup was very good, and the topping was fresh and ample. I did not even have to drink lots of water after my pho meal, which I usually do in other places because of whatever is put in the soup. We were also pleasantly surprised by the quality and portion of the kids meal (grilled chicken rice dish) - way way way better than those generic "chicken tenders" and "mac and cheese" options! Here the kids meals are real, healthy choices, which actually cultivate a good palate in kids. In fact we would go back just for the kids meal, if not for the delicious pho itself. Clean and spacious, and the bathroom is very clean too! Would definitely come back.

Che Thai

I've been to a few of their NJ locations and they really excel in their non-pho dishes. I got the B2 and the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the veggies were fresh and crunchy. The che thai had the perfect amount of sweetness there was a nice variety of fruit and I love any jelly dessert and this did not fall short. Honestly the food was very good but the service was nonexistent. We weren't checked up once which is something I would expect from a no frills mom and pop shop but there were barely any customers and the workers were just talking amongst themselves. Being in the other locations this one lacks service.

I love that there are more Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Pho Today recently opened up in South Philadelphia and now in Montgomeryville. I'm super excited. Their pho is good. I love that they have my two favorites, lotus root and papaya salad. They also have salted lemon drink and durian smoothie which I also really like. I will have to come back for the bun bo hue and banh mi. P.S. Make your own pho is really nice to have as well. P.S.S. Maybe it's grand opening weeks, the service could be better. We only saw our waiter when he took our order. Our appetizer, the calamari didn't come until we asked for it when we finished our pho. Never came to check up on us. We wanted to order stuff to go too.

Perfect choice on a rainy day. Big bright contemporary space, service was polite and prompt. Went with the Special Pho, loaded with all the great proteins and a broth that would be perfect for any palate. Loved the crunchy shrimp rolls that were served with crisp iceberg lettuce and shredded vegetables to wrap the roll in. Not sure I would ever want them any other way.

My friend took me to this Vietnamese spot in Norristown while we were in the area, and I'm so glad…read morewe stopped! The food is authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine, so good and comforting. We ordered the whole platter and the square egg rolls, and there was plenty of food. Everything tasted just like home. The restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the owner is so nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a hidden gem I'd come back to!

Our Summer Rolls were well made, fresh, with decent dipping sauce and ground peanuts. The Roast Pork Banh Mi was also okay, but would have been a big winner had they used a more baguette type roll with proper crisp and crunch. Service was the one area where they really fell short. Perhaps because of the hour 4:00 p.m., we were the only customers in the house. The wait person seemed less than enthused to have to wait on us. She never smiled, nor brought us place settings. We ate carefully to avoid dropping food on the table, floor and our clothing. The serving dishes were too small for that purpose. She never gave us lemon or lime slices for our drinking water as requested. The mamasan was more pleasant in taking out credit card payment, wishing for our return in the future. Just not sure about that. Three pho-gettable Stars.

Great spot! I stopped by for lunch with a friend, and we both really enjoyed our dishes. It was a…read morehot day, so I opted for a banh mi rather than any kind of pho, and it was really good - shrimp banh mi, holding the mayo. The bread was just the right level of crispy, and all the ingredients were right on point. Definitely would come back to try another banh mi, or another dish! They were good about service as well - the server came by many times to refill our water, and when I had a complaint about what didn't look right in my sandwich the first time, he went and made another one. Inside, it's not a huge space, but it looks nice inside and is pretty clean. Probably not great for a big group, but good for smaller groups. I'd be down to return!

The food was not good. Dumbed down. Missing almost everything I expect in Vietnamese/Thai food…read more.. mint, Thai basil, cilantro, fish sauce, chiles, maybe perilla, lemongrass, garlic, ginger, shallots, etc.. Biting into the small summer roll ("Garden Roll") was the opposite of the refreshing crisp, pop-of-herbs & vegetable bite, I expect. Peanut sauce was OK. Banh mi didn't seem to be dressed and had no jalapenos, but did have a sprig (1) of cilantro. Dominant flavor came from the sesame seeds on the roll. Sauce for the salad was a one dimensional - a thin sugar syrup. Another bad meal in a trend of bad meals in this area. So who do I blame - the restaurant or the customers who ensure that bland food like this continues to be output ? Because, after all, a restaurant needs to please its customers to stay in business. Maybe the restaurant should post a warning or offer an option for authentic food. Oh, also... When I was trying to place the order through the website, it tells me orders are not being accepted. Then I'm sent to DoorDash to place the order. Seriously!? I used the phone.
