As I've been watching it get built on my weekly runs to Wegmans I knew that we just had to try this place for a number of reasons: 1. Closeness in proximity 2. Curiosity bc it's a chain so it's authenticity was iffy for me 3. It's Pho - but honestly it smelled wonderful when we ran in to grab a menu so we decided to stay First things first ... I got so sidetracked with the fact that they had rainbow ice! One of my all time favs from college and it's been a rarity to find for me. I mean I'm talking decades since I've had it. It did not disappoint and the server was gracious enough to indulge my ask for no green jelly (think jello strands). The pic shows green but they did scoop it out! The menu is extensive with so many great delicious sounding and looking dishes - yep I was scoping out other diners orders. There was a dilemma as to whether or not we wanted apps and or the rice plates. I mean seriously it all really sounded pretty good. I know I know Pho-cus on the Pho. We both went for the Pho n decided to order the rice plates next visit. By now my bf and I have tried quite few Pho places to be able to judge one to be better than another. This one doesn't rate as well compared to our top two favorites. I think I liked it a lil more than my guy. He was quite thrown off by the amount of scallions in the broth. He's not wrong it was overkill you can see for yourself in my pictures but I wasn't as bothered by them. He ordered the pick your own protein pho and selected brisket, rare beef and quail egg. I ordered the filet, oxtail and meatballs. I mean hey who's to pass up oxtail. They were on the smaller side and could've benefited from longer cooking time so that they were more fall off the bone and glutinous. That said the bowl was filled with plenty of meat and piping hot broth. I of course would've liked it to have had more noodles! But that's the pastarian in me. One can never have too much pasta! The place itself is huge and has an Asian techno spin to the mainstream pop rock that was playing. They had two large TVs but seemed like they have yet to figure out how to navigate the stations. But hey the place had basically just opened. For a new establishment it did get very busy and for a warm summer like Friday night - I didn't think people would be wanting to be inside vs the outdoors n especially at a soup driven place at that. So all in all we would come back ... yes we would. I mean hey I'm a sucker for that rainbow ice. Plus there's still the rest of the menu to explore! This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We waited 30 minutes, and our food never arrived. The server stuck us in a corner and barely acknowledged us. When we simply asked for tea, they acted annoyed as if we were bothering them. The final insult? We were charged a gratuity fee for absolutely no service. How does that even happen? Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner on a recent weekday. Not very crowded, we received very attentive service. Inside ambiance is great, very clean eatery. We started off with an order of shrimp/pork summer rolls (excellent, nicely wrapped) and spring rolls (good). For mains, we ordered two Pho versions- the chicken and the filet mignon (both were awesome - big portions with lots of meat and tasty broth). Also ordered a vermicelli bowl with pork, beef and shrimp (think it was called the "Today Special") - this was a real winner!! Prices here are average but portions are large. From the moment you walk in, mediocre. you can always tell a good Pho place when you get a blast of pho scent once you open the door. this place was lacking that. the establishment itself was very clean and service was friendly and multilingual in vietnamese and english. right away we got seated since the place is huge, moderately busy on a friday night one hour til close (keep this in mind). something i instantly knocked half a star for was the use of disposable cups and chopsticks. I miss the authentic yellow plastic chopsticks, the little sauce bowls, and hot tea. this place did not serve hot tea. - pho: plenty of veg, the thai basil was very fresh, the broth however, tasted like mama la frozen instant pho that you can buy at the grocery store (if you know you know). missing a spice i can't put my finger in. plenty of sugar. one star - bun bo hue: decent bit of meat and a pigs foot. could have been served with more noodles for the size of the bowl. plenty of veg condiments. and decently spicy. missing lemongrass flavor and pigs blood. 3 stars - bun thit nuong: at $16 a bowl, you get more salad than bun. and iceberg lettuce at that. this dish took a while to arrive so you could tell the meat was fresh grilled. flavor of the meat was good and the spring roll was good. one star for the meat given both broths lacked deep flavor and the time of the day we showed up close to closing, we suspect that the broths were watered down to make a few more bowls for the night. i cannot confirm this is what happened, just our suspicion. may be better flavor earlier in the day, but for us we will not be returning. We were running errands in the area and stopped in for a quick lunch. We realized once we saw the menu that they are part of a chain. Everything was clean, staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered lotus and tofu salad and mushroom pho. We were brought the wrong pho but the error was quickly fixed. The salad was fresh, tofu lightly toasted. Beef pho broth was very very good with a nice variety of mushrooms and bok choy. Looking forward to returning- next time I'll take photos! read more

Pho and Spring Rolls were good. Very friendly service! So why the "meh" rating??? The carafe of water had a clear plastic lid with a pink hue (mildew/mold). Then the surprise fee they added for using a credit card left me a bit annoyed. (I get that more places are doing that as they are charged by the cc company, but this trend needs to end) So... make sure you bring lots of cash! read more

Every dish is delicious! We love their pho tai, papaya salad, grilled pork. The short rib pho is good for two people!

Food was delicious. Ambiance is modern. Service was ok but friendly. We got filet minon pho and it was ffull of beef.

The pho is so good, comes out piping hot, has amazing flavor and is packed with whichever protein you choose. Also, we love their summer rolls, the peanut dipping sauce is delicious and everything is fresh. One draw back and why they didn't get 5 stars from me, they charge the BS 3% credit card processing fee. This gets under my skin, it's a business expense, not a consumer expense. I was sure to reflect the difference in the tip, unfortunately and will continue to do so if we don't have cash again next time. The extra charge was deducted from the server, unfortunately. Sorry, not sorry, it's ridiculous that these businesses can, in good conscience, dlimpose that charge on their paying customers is beyond me. Without us, they don't have a business. read more

As a Vietnamese person who grew up in South Philly and know Viet food pretty well. I would say this place comes pretty close if not better. Now I can get my Viet fix without driving down to Philly. I had the Bun Thit Nuong and the Com Thit Nuong both dishes were delicious and the pork was grilled and taste amazing. I also had the Rainbow Ice dessert which was BOMB! My wife and I have been looking for a really good Vietnamese restaurant in our area, and we found it. We went to Pho Today and were not disappointed. I have read some negative reviews about poor service and the food not being served hot. Our experience was the polar opposite. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We love Pho so we definitely wanted to check this out. FYI, pho is a Vietnamese soup with rice noodles, herbs, and anything else you feel like throwing in. The place was nicely decorated and the staff were prompt and pleasant. My wife had the Pho with chicken, my granddaughter had the plain Pho. I had pho with beef short ribs (see pics). They were all huge portions, and a big plate of basil, chili peps, and bean sprouts for all to share. I got my fish sauce, sriracha, ready to go. My bowl had a huge short rib on the bone with a nice broth and noodles(pic). Then my server came to me with another bowl containing a bone so big, I had to move my chair back. I'm thinking wtf am I supposed to do with this? I don't want to look stupid by gnawing on that thing when it's simply there for ambiance. My granddaughter used it to prop her phone up so she could see it properly. I think it was the poor cows shoulder bone. I thought the rib could've been trimmed better before cooking. I like fat but the membranes around it were a bit of a grisly mess. The wife liked the pho with chicken and would recommend. I will go back also but I'll order something different. Real durian smoothie!! Immediate 5 stars from me . You really can't get this at many places. Pho at near $20 is kind of wild, but compared to the area, it looks expected out here. Anyway, was a hot day so I ordered rice instead. Flavorful well-marinated meat; tastes just like home :) It's a pretty large restaurant and looks like it can easily accommodate multiple large parties (or typical Viet families). Fish in a clay pot and canh chua are not offered widely, so I was surprised to see it on the menu. May return to try it if I'm in the area. read more

Great atmosphere and clean environment! We have a newborn and pleasantly surprised how fast the service was. We ordered pho with brisket, flank and meatball. The broth had good flavor with lots of side items such as onions, green onions, bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil and lime. Everything a bowl of pho needs! We also ordered spring rolls but the minced pork did not have flavor to it. We will not order that again. Prices are a bit high but with inflation, it is par for the course.
