The spring rims were super tasty and very crisp and delicious. The beef stir fry was good, a few chewy bits but nothing too bad. Flavor was spot on but the heat could have been higher, so I added sriracha sauce. It was clean and comfortable, the pricing is competitive and reasonable. It's hard to find decent noodle soup here in Kitchener/Waterloo, or maybe I am not looking properly! This joint is nicely situated off the HWY7, very busy on weekends. Cannot compared to the places I have been to in Markham/Scarborough/Mississauga, but if you are craving it, it will definitely satisfy your cravings. I ordered their special pho (L), and my friend ordered the bun bo hue (spicy), and we shared their spring rolls. The soup base could use more flavour, and their spring rolls are the traditional rice paper spring rolls. Btw their Large pho is pretty big.. I got two meals out of it! read more

I had lunch here a while ago after it was recommended by a family member, and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. I ordered the Grilled Chicken and Spring Roll Vermicelli Bowl ($10.95) which consisted of marinated grilled chicken and crispy spring roll over vermicelli noodle. Lettuce, bean sprout, cucumber, carrot, and mint leaves. It was delicious, and I would highly recommend it! If you're not a fan of Vermicelli Bowls, then the Green Curry, Pho, and Pad Thai are also very tasty. Really delicious vegetarian pho and Tom Kha soups. We have been to another spot in Kitchener and it doesn't even come close to this spot! The veggies were plentiful and fresh and the flavours were bang on! Soups were served steaming hot with the fresh basil, sprouts and sauces. They give complimentary tea as well which is always a nice touch. The device was very friendly as well. We crave this soup so much! def recommend to anyone! read more

We ate in for our first time here ever and we had to ask for even the menu. The food was excellent but the waitress wasn't there to wait on us I guess. We had to ask for water, our take out containers...the bill. She was very nice but we were not happy with the hospitality at all. Our receipt doesn't even show what we ate or drank just the price. Pho Tran is a beautifully renovated viet resto on highway 7 in Kitchener. To be honest, its in a main street but its not located in a central location so that will hurt them a bit. The food though is really good. Much better than Banh Than in Guelph and other nearby viet restos. The interior is goregous. Service is fast. Dont hesitate to try this place out. 4.5 stars read more

Just had lunch here. The Chicken Pad Thai has that perfect Thai blend of sour - sweet - spice making each new mouthful as tasty as the last. Very generous plate full with plenty of tender chicken and large chunks of fried tofu. I ate my fill and had a nice portion left over for the take out box. So many other places serve Pad Thai that is mostly bland noodles and not much chicken (or whichever meat you have chosen). PHO TRAN does it right! Authentic flavour and no skimping on ingredients. I look forward to trying other items on their menu. BRAVO PHO TRAN. Average Vietnamese Food. Its definitely overpriced compared to the surrounding Pho restaurants without any higher quality or authenticity. We had ordered Beef brisket pho, which had mostly fatty pieces and tendon. If you pay a higher price it should usually go with high quality and more quantity... not true for this place. Hopefully they can improve on this area. The restaurant is definitely clean with good service. read more

My first time visiting this restaurant as I ordered take out. Very nice and clean atmosphere. The place smelled great. Unfortunately when I arrived home I realized something from my order was missing. I called in to let them know and they asked if I could come back. I live ten minutes away and explained that my meal would be cold if I left it and drove back (also not really worth the drive for one small item). The person on the phone told me that next time I order I can get this for free. I asked if they wanted my name/number but they said no, just tell them what happened next time I order. Seemed weird. Either way I won't be ordering again because the food was bland and not up to par with other local similar restaurants. read more
