The owner is there everyday. She is so hardworking and dedicated to her business staying open. This is one of the only good places to eat on the square unlike the rest of the restaurants, when it's authentic and home cooked like it is here it deserves to have that said, the cook in the back cooks amazing and knows what she's doing. It's delicious, welcoming, and delicious. Come on San Marcos, don't let Pho Tran go out of business like the other 2 before this place. New restaurant (as of spring 2021), if you have not been there yet you are missing out on some great food. I have not even tried the Pho yet (shame on me) but I ordered sandwiches a couple times and some appetizers. Normally when I think "sandwich" it's as a second tier option for convenience rather than quality/taste but the Vietnamese sandwiches are outstanding and are leagues above anything you'd get at a regular deli. The bread is perfect, the meat is high quality and cooked+seasoned perfectly, also love the ratio of cucumber and carrot. Finally cost is very reasonable, I order a full meal and food for a snack later (lots of crab Rangoon :) ) Total is under $20 and usually several dollars less than my take out orders from neighboring restaurants. TL:DR The wait is over! Give this place a try if you're around San Marcos and want a great meal! read more

The food is very good, they have Vegan options, handle changes to our orders very well (no bean sprouts or tiny corn please! ) and the wait time to receive our order has always been quick.
