They are OKAY. this location is perfect because I can drive within 5 minutes of wanting noodles. Their music was somewhat bothering me. I understand that it is a Vietnamese restaurant but it would be nice to have classical music. I know sometimes it bother customers to have to hear a song that is not in English. When bringing out the vegetables plate , they lack on their servings. If it's 2 people or more, please add more. Some people love eating mints and need more limes. The cashier in the front always forget to give people debit card back. And it's not the first time she has slipped before. I come here often just to get a quick lunch, so I would still come either way despite of how they lack customer service. I ask for 2 kids water, 2 small kids bowl, & my meat to be put on top so it won't over cook. When they brought my food , the kids water was normal water cups, no bowls, and my meat was over cooked. I asked for bowls, they gave me adult bowls. I don't understand why. It was a slow day for them. Only 3 customers. Also, I had order to go and they lack on giving out noodles & soup. The soup was filled only half way had no meat which I had order. So always check on your to go orders! I made a mistake on that for not checking.

The restaurant environment is very relaxing because of dim lighting and super clean tables and serveware. fast and excellent service. I substituted the meat in Banh mi ga nuong for shrimp but it was just a bit tastless. However the avacado smoothie w/o tapioca was SUPER creamy and YUMZ!

Came here Thursfay evening fir dinner.. The place was empty and we're the only table there. We order bowl of ph and stirfried beef with vermicelli... Both were bland and tasteless. The vermicelli was so dried.. We didn't even finish half. First time and also last time here!!!

The place is under new management. It's my second time here and I'm not disappointed. A little annoyed that it took over 20 minutes for my food to come out but the quality and taste of that made up for it. Servers were very friendly and made sure that our meal was exactly what we wantef. Excellent customer service, I give them that. I give them 4.5 stars but rounded down because of the wait. Aside from that, everything else was pretty good.

Walk up counter service with a menu split neatly into cold cut and oven baked sandwiches. Going with the Devito, my mind was thoroughly blown by how flavorful the red sauce and meats were all together, it had a combination of textures from the crusty bread cured cuts that made it fun to chew through every bite. My Stallone was also just such a pleasant mix of flavor with the pesto playing a bigger role on the cold cut options. This is one of the places where I feel like you can spin the wheel and get a winner with whatever fate decides. Things seem pretty easy and affordable here. Portions were pretty big here and around $12-$15 a sandwich, more than enough for a single person with some for a midnight snack later. There's a good bit of seating inside with some red gingham table clothes to eat over. It's worth the visit if your in Montgomery or after a day on the Lake!

I especially love their Signature Garlic Herb bread. It's toasted perfectly where the outside has a slight crisp around the edges and the inside is soft and fluffy. It's really GOOD bread. I definitely prefer it over the likes of something like Subway, Jersey Mike's, etc. It's nice that they offer different sizes of sandwiches. There's the Nug (4"), Pinner (8"), and the largest size is the Blunt (12"). I ordered the Nug. It's just the right size to satisfy my appetite without leaving me feeling heavy afterward. I also love and truly appreciate the diverse vegetarian options on the menu. They're not just the basic boring raw veggies combinations either. It's super casual and laid back inside. Love their fun decorations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a bar in the back with a large TV, allowing you to enjoy sports while sipping on a cold beer or cocktail. After doing my research and seeing food bloggers post online about this place, I decided to try it! We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm - packed! There were no tables available inside and there were people inside and outside waiting for their orders. That's something to be ready for if you come on a Saturday. Our order didn't actually take that long. Or maybe it took a little while and we didn't mind waiting. Either way, it wasn't that bad! Luckily it's located in a shopping area so there's always parking. My main gripe is that they close at 7pm. I'm sure there's a good reason for that but I've wanted to try it multiple times before but they've been closed! I ended up going with the infamous brisket and fried rice. The brisket was super tender - I was able to pull it apart with my fork. I typically shy away from brisket because usually it's tough. But this was delicious - tender and had a nice smoky flavor. Not overwhelming or too salty. The rice had a great flavor too. There were chunks of meat in that as well and the rice had a nice smoky flavor. Not too salty or greasy. It also came with some accoutrements - pickled onions, fresh pickled cucumbers, jalapeños, bbq sauce and bread. The cucumbers and onions stole the show - very fresh and refreshing. We were surprised at the pickled onions - they were soo good! Overall - worth the hype! I'll definitely be back to try ribs, chicken or pulled pork sandwich. I heard everything is good here!!

To my surprise; fried rice was filled with extra brisket and chinese sausage! The pickle Jalapeño's were very tasty. Perhaps both the pickles and pickled Jalapeños are made in house. Only gripe that deducted a star would be the sitting arrangement. I mean there is only a handful of chairs available inside. They do have a spacious outdoor patio; but being almost 100 degrees outside it was not worth my sweat dripping down to the brisket making it saltier. Almost have to wait around and time it, until the next freed up seating is available. Don't recommend to bring young kids or large groups. If I was an angel investor, my money would go to them to expand to a larger location! Pains me to see large chain restaurants be able to afford such a large buildings and serve mediocre food. Eh hemmm.. Spring Creek Barbecue. Support local; Support H-town! Overall definitely worth a try!

This is the one and only location here and a great stop for all kinds of sandwiches. Their menu includes innovative offerings and iconic flavors, essentially the best of both worlds. If you're craving a classic or simple sandwich, you can get that. However, if you're looking for something special or out of this world, you can also get it. Ike's specializes in sandwiches with their Dutch Crunch bread and Dirty Sauce, both unique in its own way. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, vegan, or on a gluten-free diet, their menu has it all. I personally am not a super fan of the Dutch Crunch bread since I find it a bit too harsh on the palate and somewhat dry, but love the Dirty Sauce (make it extra or on the side). I enjoy subbing the Dutch Crunch with either French or Sourdough. With over 300 unique sandwiches on the menu, there's a sandwich for everyone. My favorites have been the Menage A Trois (halal chicken, honey mustard, BBQ Sauce, real honey, pepper jack, swiss, cheddar), Ike's Reuben (pastrami, mack Sauce, purple slaw, gouda), Joker (all beef meatballs, fried zucchini, Ike's red pesto, ranch), and Grant Pinkerton, a Houston exclusive (Pinkerton Brisket, pastrami, BBQ aioli, provolone). All of my sandwiches have been stuffed and tasty, worth it! However, I find some menu items to be subpar in quality and flavor (chicken strips). The service is typically quick, efficient, and friendly. There are more than a handful of tables inside and some out on the patio. The shared parking lot can get very crowded as it is packed with lots of other businesses.

Honestly, in the beginning it was pretty rough, slow service, incorrect orders, and the sandwiches just weren't as good as what I was used to getting in California. That said, I kept coming back every now and then hoping things would improve, and I'm glad I did. My last few visits have been great. The sandwiches have been fresh and really tasty, and the customer service has been solid. I also spoke with Jose, and he mentioned he's been working hard to turn things around, and it definitely shows. Not sure why they don't have more locations yet, but I hope they expand soon!
