Decent pho place at the Strip District of Pittsburg. It is open fairly late and also one of the very few places that remained open at the late hour we were there. The price I feel was a bit pricey but it was also quite average for the area. Service is fast and they come check on you every once in a while. It is just a small family restaurant through and through. The pho here was good.

This is the first place I ever had pho so many years ago and it's still just as good as that first day. The kindest people with the warmest welcome. Cute and quaint little spot in the strip with authentic Vietnamese food!

After visiting a couple times, I can say that their pho is one of the best in the city. Located in the heart of the strip district, this spot is perfect way to end your Strip District afternoon! Plenty of seating for small and large groups inside, clean, and amazing service. They have all the classic Viet dishes (pho, com tam, etc). I got the brisket pho this past time and it was delicious. Also got the beef lemongrass rice bowl and loved it as well. Can't wait to go back!!

Small restaurant serving freshly made Vietnamese dishes. Ample indoor seating with a few sidewalk tables outside. Basic cafe atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. They serve a varied menu from appetizers to desserts. The shop also other various goods for purchase (bowls, chop sticks, cultural souvenirs). I had the fried shrimp rolls. Petite, crunchy and flavorful. It was served with an savory dipping sauce. Just right for a light snack. My lunch companion had the Fresh shrimp Spring Rolls. 3 large firm shrimp and vegetables wrapped in delicate rice paper. Very good. Serves with a thick delicious peanut sauce.

This place has quick service, good Vietnamese flavors, and hefty portions. If you're seeking soup on a cold day, this is the place. Not pictured is the humongous bowl of bun bo hue that my friend ordered.

Clean restaurant with good music and great service. The food was pretty standard fare and hit the spot although the banh mi's bbq pork was dry inside. Losing a star because I don't think pho should be $18.00 nor should banh mi be $12-14.00, but, for being in Pittsburgh, it's definitely going to satisfy my vietnamese food cravings!

A solid spot for Pho in Pittsburgh. I usually enjoy the brisket as my protein. The cheese wontons are also delicious! The brother is very flavorful and everything is fresh. Service was friendly and quick. Small and causal interior.

Do you love broth? Need something warm on those cold days? Pho Van offers one of the biggest bowls of Pho I have ever seen! If you are from Pittsburgh then it is one of the better Phos you can get. Compared to the other Phos I have eaten, it is good but not amazing. Regardless, the bowl is MASSIVE. Despite the amount of broth, it is not watered down at all. Each sip is packed nicely with beef flavors. My only qualm was that I wish there was more brisket, but that could be the illusion of the soup to noodles and meat ratio. Place is small, and clean. They offer drinks but I did not have any. I heard they were good. Summer rolls are good with the peanut sauce, can't go wrong with them if you like shrimp! Overall a good spot I'd go again for good eats.

I recently ordered takeout from Pho Van. I ordered online and my order was ready for pickup about 15-20 min later. I ordered the seafood soup and a passion fruit refresher drink mango boba. Everything is packaged great for takeout. The soup itself had a great flavor and it was really filling. My refresher was not too sweet and the perfect addition to my soup. Inside, the place is not very large but it was filled up on a Sunday evening.

One of my favorite places for Pho. Not fancy in any respect but very comfortable place and excellent value. Pho is always flavorful rich, aromatic broth with perfectly cooked noodles and fresh herbs. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Staff are friendly and quick. Highly recommend for a casual, comfortable meal, Pho Van is a must-visit!

    Pho Van

We stopped in for lunch today, and everything was wonderful! We both had the pho, and it was absolutely delicious--full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was great, and the overall experience was terrific. I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite!

Happened to find this place in the area for a pirates game. Ordered the C3 noodle soup. The broth was excellent and tasty. Pretty big portion for the price. Check them out!

The pho was just average. It wasn't bad, but it didn't taste very authentic and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for.

Pho Minh is a no frills, small Vietnamese restaurant in Bloomfield. Paid street parking is available out front and no reservations are required nor recommended. THIS PLACE IS CASH ONLY!!! You've been warned. No worries if you do forget, there is a PNC Bank Branch ATM like 2 blocks away. We opted for the fried spring rolls and they were so good. They were also way larger than normal so it's certainly worth their price. Amazing filling and perfectly crispy. I opted for the pho with flank steak and tripe. The broth is amazing. Noodles perfectly cooked. The portion was so big that I took some home for lunch tomorrow but I wanted to continue eating. This place was my partner's go to pho spot growing up and I was so glad I got to visit for the first time. I cannot wait to return!

They have a wide variety of different noodle soups, rices, and vermicillis. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet (Pho Minh Soup), which came with rare beef, beef balls, flank steak, and chicken. The broth was decent -- not the most flavorful I've had, but still satisfying. My partner got the Bun Thang, a vermicelli soup with chicken, egg, pork, and shrimp. Unfortunately, the broth on that one was a bit bland, and the toppings weren't finely shredded. Solid portion size though, since I left very full. The ambiance reminds me of hole-in-the-wall type restaurants - simple, no-frills, and a spot of the locals. Fyi: this place only accepts cash, so come prepared.
