The bahn mi was good, but I do wish the chicken had more flavor, and the pickled veggies had a stronger pickled taste. I mainly tasted the chicken and not the veggies. I also didn't taste the jalapeño which usually when combined with the pickled veggies really makes the bahn mi unique in my opinion. The Boba was decent. The Tapioca pearls were a bit old and mushy. The broth boasts all the vital & signature notes of anise, garlic, rock sugar, cinnamon well simmered & rendered beef bone stock, onions, cloves, & a perfect amount of salt to marry each ingredient to compliment and layer the dish. Pho is a complex but beautiful symphonic bowl of soul that speaks in every sip, slurp, bite, chew. If a restaurant is not putting out a bowl that is exactly the same each time, it's best to move on to somewhere more consistently passionate.
