    FOOD !

I have always passed by this place and finally have it a try. Super impressed with the interior and how clean everything was. The servers were even cleaning/wiping the sauce bottles (which I'm used to always getting dirty and crusty sriracha lids) They had an excellent separate vegetarian menu with lots of items to choose from! Our server had even memorized the entire menu and knew everything by just the number. She was very knowledgeable about where she worked and the items on it. On the last page of the menu there is a "extra small side order" which all items are under $5 which is great if you have a friend you wanted to tag along who isn't too hungry! I ordered the: 613 - Vegetable thick noodle soup 602 - Vegetable and tofu fresh roll (the sauce was incredible)

Clear noodle with seafood and soup on the side - Hu Teu My Tho - kho

I'm so glad I discovered this place. It's so COVID friendly. There are glass separators between tables, very spacious, and they soak your utensils in hot water - most appreciated!!!! The service is fast on the side near the cash counter. On the other side, they don't see you so a bit slower service, but generally great! Most dishes are tasty and just right! Some place it can be too greasy, too salty or too fatty, but here I have not had any issues with any orders. I go here regularly now.

Food is tasty, legitimate (portion is good and authentic tastes). Pricing is on par with other establishments. Place is clean, bright and modern Where they lost points was lack of service as hot soup was spilled beside my table but there was no acknowledgment, apology or an attempt to clean it up? It is a safety hazard with the oily soup and it almost splashed on my partner's shoes.

I'm always in search of a good place for pho. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in for the first time. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Both times my husband and I've been here we've had excellent service accompanied with a hearty meal. Our test for pho places is always their spring roll and how they serve their peanut sauce. This place was okay. I would've liked the peanut sauce a bit thicker but that's just my preference. Otherwise, it had peanut bits and carrots that made it extra special. I ordered the house special pho the first time and Bun Bo Hue the second time. Both were excellent. Piping hot broth and very aromatic. My husband always order a rice dish and he enjoyed his meal as well. This is my new go to pho place in Woodbridge!

First of all, the papaya and carrot in papaya salad is crunchy but the beef jerky is too dried and hard to bite. Moreover, the dish itself is too salty. Second, the fresh rolls is ok but the meat inside is not fresh at all, the sauce is better but still a little sweet for me. Last but not least, although the taste is good but the noodle in the beef stew is not kind of boring. Definitely never try again.

Ordered from what the description said: 2 LARGE SAUTÉED JUMBO SHRIMP WITH RICE. As well with salad. What arrived was added paste or whatever you want to call it. When I called to inquire what comes with the shrimp she said "shrimp, rice, lettuce, tomato, carrot and cucumber." I said is that all? She said yes. I said well there's something wrong with what we ordered because this other stuff is on top of it. She then said oh and that's a mix of egg, shrimp and some other stuff. Huh? That's not what the description said! Then when I told her the person who is supposed to eat it can't because they have an allergy to eggs, she said we should have said no egg. Lady you idiot the description was clear as day on your menu online and on Uber eats. Don't give me that allergy crap. Oh and what I usually order the rice was cold. Too bad. This was our go to place until they messed this up!

I was so glad to hear that a second location of the infamous Pho place from Dufferin & Steeles opened up in Woodbridge (out of all places)! After several month of putting off my visit, I finally decided to try it. The restaurant is very spacious and there is A LOT of seating, maybe a little too much for the given location. That being said, the decor is crisp and resembles its original location. The menus were already placed on the table when we arrived which allowed us to order quickly. We ordered the Large Pho Xpress ($10.50), Fresh Rolls with Shrimp (S $5.75) and the Papaya Salad (S $8.00). The food came within the next fifteen minutes. The Fresh Rolls were nothing out of the ordinary and the sauce that came with the dish was very watered down & too sweet. The papaya salad was great! I didn't even leave a strand of food on the plate. The Pho was nothing out of the ordinary, I have had better, but I have also had worse. I think the food could definitely use some improvement, as the original location never disappoints. Overall, it's a decent neighbourhood Pho restaurant. I like my Pho broth to have a little more flavour, so I'm not sure I'll return.

My favourite pho restaurant has opened a second location near Weston & Hwy 7! So clean and the menu is just like the first location. I always get the *Pho đac biet - classic famous vietnamese soup with errthang *Pho Sate - same classic soup but SPICY *BÁNH CUON - rice noodle rolls with ground pork meat, dipped in fish sauce : my absolute fav appetizer! My friends love the rice dishes and pad thai. This restaurant is so clean and it doesnt have the tacky vietnamese decor you see that other restaurants. I can eat in peace.

Not a bad Vietnamese place but not my favourite. The meat in our pho was bit chewy and the price was higher than other restaurants. The grilled chicken didn't have that char taste either. No complains on fresh spring rolls. Pretty good.

A couple of Wednesdays ago, after work, I had an early dinner at this Pho Anh Vu on Highway 7 in Vaughan, between Keele and Jane streets. I have passed by this eatery a number of times since it opened. It was time to check it out. This location used to be Veg Italiano. There used to be a pho place a few doors down. It is now a Turkish eatery. This small plaza does have some turnover. However, the Turkish place and this eatery have been here for at least a couple of years. I hope they remain. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into a vacant one and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a male staffer. I got to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth by the window. I got menus to peruse. There were two other tables with customers. It was nice. Hot tea came to me with two cups. The hot tea was exceptionally piping hot. I used both cups to pour tea into them and let them cool. I was ready to order. It took a long time to get a server to come over. The woman at the counter noticed that I was ready and flagged the male server to take my order. I got these items: - Soda lemonade - Grilled chicken on vermicelli with spring rolls My soda lemonade came first. It was fizzy, cold, and refreshing. I loved it so much. I would get it again in a heartbeat. It also helped me down my food as I waited for my hot tea to cool down. When my tea was finally at a temperature that wouldn't scorch my tongue, it was fragrant and yummy. I loved the grilled chicken. It was flavourful and grilled to perfection. The vermicelli was generous and yummy. The spring rolls were stuffed and crispy. This dish came with dipping sauce that I ended up pouring on everything. I feel that I needed more of it. I paid at the counter with a debit card. I tapped and was good. This eatery got busy after 4 pm. My guess is that everyone came to watch the Canada-Switzerland FIFA game. It got tense in the place. Eventually, Canada lost this game. I used the washroom before I left. It was beautiful and clean. It's a decent location that serves good food. The tea was too hot. Service started off slow, but was a lot better once my order was place. I'd love to return to try more items off the menu. (280)

The meat-to-noodle ratio was also way off for $21 for a large bowl, it was mostly noodles with barely any meat. The overall taste honestly reminded me of instant pho you can buy at Costco rather than freshly made restaurant pho. We entered this beautiful restaurant and were immediately transported to Vietnamese culture and traditions which we have experienced first-hand in Vietnam on three separate occasions. The seating arrangements permitted different views of this well-appointed restaurant. It was peaceful even though there were many people dining there. It was serene with light music in the background and barely audible. What a pleasure! The Food: We ordered an appetizer plate of popiah. We've enjoyed popiahs in Malaysia, and these were very different. These are a rolled "rice cellophane" wrappers filled with finely chopped lap xiong sausage, vermicelli and fresh herbs served with a side dip (of mostly hoisin). EXQUISITE AND ADDICTIVE. 10/10 We then shared a Bún Chá Hanoi. It has always been one of my favourite Vietnamese dishes and difficult to find in Toronto. This was true to tradition, extremely well-executed and refined in it's preparation and taste. The pork patties did not have a porky taste (bonus points), a perfect char and seasonings. Hubby enjoyed the grilled pork belly. The accompanying "dressing" for the vermicelli and fresh lettuce was refreshing and light. 10/10 My café dā was smooth and strong (as requested). It was served in the traditional Vietnamese style. The Owner brought condensed milk and sugar with it on the side because he thought the coffee would be too strong for me. Of course I didn't need it. I think he was surprised LOL. 10/10. My husband's kumquat drink was delicious and his first time enjoying the taste of kumquat. 10/10. Words cannot describe how much we loved this place.
