Not too shabby, not bad...not anything to brag about, but fast service, broth is good. Clean area- cute and festive.

This spot is okay! I was craving pho and stopped by and it satisfied my cravings, but there was a lot of room for improvement. The inside area is super messy. There is open storage everywhere, holes in the wall, etc. It's not a very nice area to eat. Next time, I will get takeout, even though they charge $1 per takeout container. I ordered the veggie tofu pho and it was fine. The broth had very little flavor and the menu said it included mushrooms, but there weren't any mushrooms. The veggie chunks were huge and hard to pick up, I would have hoped they'd be smaller. The staff was helpful in letting me know what was gluten free and was attentive throughout the meal. Overall it was warm and lovely but lacked ambiance and some flavor.

Outside - wow chicken pho is affordable here! $12 for small 11.4.23 will def be back!

Love this place! So friendly, so affordable. Neighborhood gem. I'm so glad to have found it!

I found myself hungry and in Woodinville on a blustery day and pho seemed like a good...no, a GREAT...idea for a late lunch. So I popped into Pho Vina and ordered a hot bowl of brothy goodness, aka the #10, which contained steak, brisket, and fatty tendon (my fave). The broth was DELICIOUS. Some pho places don't have a rich broth, but the one here was absolutely perfect. And the bowl was heaping with noodles. I could probably have gotten a small and been just fine. I also appreciated that the little plate of add-ons included LOTS of thinly sliced jalapenos. Some places don't give you many jalapenos but this place did! The service here was quick and friendly, and there was plenty of parking - which I appreciated as it was raining cats and dogs! I'm planning to stop by here again soon and order one of their yummy-looking vermicelli bowls.

Came here on a Tuesday night and there were people there but plenty of seating. Had the pho and egg rolls and had to toss in a delicious Thai iced tea as well. Pho was good and everything else was too. Also they do not give free dessert like some of the past reviews and their website says

A great Vietnamese restaurant in the Woodinville area. The Fresh Spring Rolls and Vermicelli is delicious with great portions and a reasonable price. It's nice to have very kind and fast service during lunch rush. The door outside has a huge sign advertising free cream puffs. After I finished my Vermicelli, I asked for my free cream puff. The waitress said that they haven't had any for years. They definitely need to update their door outside.

Everything you need at the table.

We went for gan jjajang and brisket jjampong, which are not the standard ones that come in the combo meal with tang su yuk, but our server kindly made it into a combo meal. I think these special versions are definitely better than the standard ones which we've tried before here. So much more flavor! The price is quite reasonable and the service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was quite clean! If you're craving Korean Chinese food, I'd recommend here over the newer restaurants in the area.

When we had left just a few minutes shy of 12pm, the restaurant was full and there were a few parties waiting outside. The staff were very attentive and would immediately replenish our radish if we were low. The jjamppong and jjajangmyeon tasted fine, if anything the jjajangmyeon was a little sweet. The fried rice however (without the jjajang sauce) was pretty bland and a bit dry. I don't know if it's intentional because they give the sauce on the side but I'd like to have the rice taste good without the assistance of the sauce. Other than the bland and dry rice, my only other nitpick would be that the jjajangmyeon came out a lot later than the other dishes. Otherwise we paid around $117 (without tip), for five dishes and two appetizers, which I think is pretty good for this area.

Atmosphere: Spacious, average noise, forgettable music in the background that is drowned out by conversation. Service: wait to be seated, you will be watered, you will be given a paper menu and a pen to mark your order at the table, pay at your table via portable checkout with a server at the end of your meal. Menu: brief descriptions and some colored photos. The website has photos of everything. Kid friendliness: high chairs, plastic cups with lids and straws. Sweet and Sour Cucumbers: refreshing between bites of salty foods but I find that the slices are a bit too thin, which gives it a mushier texture. It's also a bit annoying to cut and share with the serrated butter knife that they provide--I think food scissors would be more appropriate. Green Onion Pancake: shrinkflation hit this one hard. The slices are so small these days. Still tastes good and is a classic must have to snack on. Five Spice Beef Shank: thin cold cuts of beef that are a tad on the salty side but go well with the cucumbers! Pork Xiao Long Bao: If you didn't order it, why are you here? (haha) Love the soup in these. Broccoli with Seafood Sauce: had a cooked caterpillar wedged between the florets--was off putting but hey, it happens. Server was kind enough to remove it from the bill. Kale with Sesame Dressing: Love the flavor of this dish. Be warned, it comes with crushed peanuts sprinkled on top but it's not listed in the menu, which I find strange. Minced Chicken Noodles: one of my favorite dishes here. I love the pickled green bean bits and the spice is something I can *sort of* handle. I'm a spice weakling.

We came here last night, and the restaurant was about 60-70% full. The staff looked busy, but they were focusing on clearing and setting empty tables while several "ready" tables were available. We felt like we should have been seated sooner. I'm not sure if this was due to staff inexperience or just the restaurant's process. Then came the second issue: we were told there were no paper menus because they had run out and were asked to order online instead. That's fine in itself, but it added to the feeling of disorganization. During our meal, we asked for an empty bowl. Again, the staff seemed busy, but it took a long time to get something that simple. I could understand if they were overwhelmed, but I noticed empty tables being cleaned and reset while our request seemed to be forgotten--even after multiple reminders. Later, we tried to order more spicy wontons using the QR code, but the website didn't work. Another frustrating point. The food was okay--it's consistent with other locations, which is why we came. However, the beef dumplings fell apart, and all the soup spilled out before we could eat them, which was disappointing. Overall, this was a below-average experience, so I'd give it two stars. I'm not sure if they're still working out their process or are understaffed, but it wasn't the usual Dough Zone experience or quality we've had before.

Chans Place is hands down delicious and has quickly become our go-to family dinner spot. We've only dined in the restaurant (I've heard mixed opinions on the take out) and while we have our standard appetizer order of Firecracker Shrimp and the Cream Cheese wontons, we always mix up the plates. My favorite plate so far is the Hong Kong style pan fried noodles with chicken - it's is delicious. We also love the Pad Thai, lemon chicken, and the chow mein. We always order with chicken, which they cook perfectly. We've discovered that two appetizers and two plates is the perfect amount of food for our family of four. Worth noting - the firecracker shrimp is the stuff dreams are made of. It's the best I've ever had, anywhere. I reccomend planning ahead on weekends as it can get busy. The only thing missing from the traditional bun Bo hue is the pork blood and the banana leaves vegetables. But other than that, it was really good. I didn't see any offer to top off the dipping broth with daishi broth (soup-wari). Not a deal breaker though!
