When my daughter suggested Pho for lunch recently, I thought "why not?" and we tried Pho House Deli (first time here for me). This is a recently opened local place for me and I drive past it regularly as it's on the busy Bothell Way street. The outside Lake Washington views at this location are awesome! I wish they would make the entire wall facing the lake into a big picture window or even an outside deck. Maybe in the future? I had the Lemongrass Charbroiled Chicken Banh Mi sandwich which was delicious. It had a good amount of veggies and a slightly sweet flavor to the sandwich. My vegan daughter had the Tofu & Veggie Pho and she had enough for leftovers for another day. My son also had a Banh Mi sandwich but chose the Combo which has Pork, Chicken and Egg). He enjoyed his as well. This seems to be a small family run business that delivers on convenience and variety. The menu seems to have all of the Vietnamese standbys such as Vermicelli dishes, Banh Mi's and Pho offerings. Give it a try!

Very pleasantly surprised how good their seafood pho was. Chicken pho also delicious and loaded with meat. Highly recommend this spot off the Bothell-Everett-highway. Great view of Lake WA was even better at sunset. Enjoy!

I've been craving Banh Mi, so it was perfect when I stumbled upon this spot! It was super convenient, easy to find and quick service. I ordered the pork and chicken combo for $10 and paired it with a Bubble Mango Tea for $6.75. While it might be a bit daunting if you're hesitant to leave the main street but good parking, the place is worth it. The atmosphere is relaxing, with good music, spacious and pretty surroundings, and large windows that let you enjoy the view outside if you are alone like me or couple or friends. The server was friendly, too. If you're in the mood for Pho, this place is worth a visit, even though I only tried the Banh Mi and Bubble Tea, they were both great!

Ordered takeout from here for lunch on a weekday and enjoyed it! I got the veggie pho and subbed egg noodles. Came with lots of veggies, hoisin sauce, and the usual pho add ons! No sriracha but thankfully we had our own. Egg noodles had a $1 upcharge and it was thin, ramen-like noodles (possibly instant?) Packaged well so nothing spilled on the way home! It was ready in about 10 minutes after we placed our order. This spot just opened in Kenmore on 522 so we'll be back to try more!

The basil was fresh but the other vegetables are not even close to edible

The two stars are for the richness of the vegetable broth and the ambiance. Very nice view overlooking the lake. But the food is old and should not be given to customers. Someone will get sick eating here.

Ordered the Pho Bo Vien and Tai! I absolutely loved the everything inside! Wait time was super, duper fast. Everyone, especially the main cashier, was very friendly and welcoming. I found the new order style of going up front first very convenient, especially since we knew what to order coming in. Would definitely come here again to try more of their foods!

Good food, reasonably priced. The pho was good and so were the fried spring rolls. My son liked the beef stew.

Honestly everything is good and I have yet to have a bad dish here. Thus far we have only ordered takeout but the inside is nice too and I would like to dine in one of these days. On our most recent visit we ordered the basil fried rice with pork, pad see ew with beef, and yellow curry with chicken. Rice isn't included so we did make some jasmine rice at home to go with the curry. All three dishes were delicious and if you order them with some spice they do give you some spice which I appreciate! They also give you a solid amount of protein which is nice as well. I definitely recommend trying it out!

It looks like they also have a back patio for outdoor seating in the summer. I tried the Cashew Savory as the cashew stir fry dish is one of my favorite Thai dishes. It was delicious! They include pineapple in theirs which I've found isn't common, but it was a nice touch, bringing a bit of sweetness to the dish. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and I let the staff know when we arrived. They surprised her with a cheesecake with lychee (?) or passionfruit (?). Not sure what the fruit was, but it was delicious and so refreshing. It was such a nice gesture and the fact that they remembered and I didn't have to remind them was so nice. Service was friendly and prompt. If you're looking for Thai in the Bothell area, this is the place to go!

Delivery review In…read moreshort We finally started to satisfy our craving for kimchi fried rice, and theirs is excellent, as is the soup. A little expensive, but they have good specials. You really taste the spice if you ask for it. In long We've been talking about kimchi fried rice for 3 weeks, and finally got an order in. We're trying to cook at home more these days, but we opened the app and we were total suckers for the special. It was just a few bucks off, but when we built the order, it was 2-for-1, so we have an awesome pile of leftovers now. Showed up fast, still plenty hot. Kimchi fried rice Awesome chewy texture, great spicy tart kimchi flavor, savory fried egg on top with extra seasoning just on the egg. We got our 2-for-1 on the rice, and the portion is pretty big, so we will get at least 4 servings out of this. Tofu mushroom soup Ordered 4 stars, and there's actual noticeable kick to it, which not every place does. Excellent flavors. For $25, 2 little cups doesn't seem like much, so if I see that 2-for-1 again I might put it in on the soup instead of the rice. We're trying to think of delivery these days as a rare treat, and this place more than met the mark. We had a dozen other dishes in the cart before we could make up our minds, too. The whole menu here looks great.

The best thing to get here if you have a larger group of three to five people is the combo meals which include a variety of entrees with the side dishes that can fill you up. I grew up going here when there was a Lamont's Dept store there, hence the escalators inside to take you up to the huge book store and food court. You sit in the common seating for the community stage space. So my cousin eats the same thing here twice a week when he is in town from out of state: braised pork belly noodle soup. He raves about it and is the type of food I adored. So we finally got together to try it as his treat to us. All of us ordered the same thing so no menu pic! Actually there isn't much of a menu as they use the electronic screens over the counter for just pictures??? And the menu is a dingy paper menu off to the side. This is not the typical Asian restaurant as it's a counter run by two young white girls and I'm assuming a chef in the back cooking the food. Ordering was simple and pay at screen. Food came up fairly quickly but you pick it up in individual trays with condiments at the counter. There is really no service here so wonder about tipping beyond standard. We had to take our trays back up before finishing our discussion as they were closing and both ladies were sitting at the other end of the counter scrolling their phones without getting up or acknowledging us really. Yet it was close to closing so I thought this was very odd compared to most Asian restaurants with hardworking staff. The noodles were cooked good and a very tasty rich broth that didn't need the soy sauce packet provided but it did need the chili sauce given! Pork belly was truly tender and the fat cap melted in your mouth. Only a small bit of bike choy which could have been more robust like I'm used to elsewhere. My big complaint is so simple! Little plastic western style spoons! It's so hard to eat all this broth out of a huge ceramic bowl with these and either the plastic disposable Asian spoons or reusable plastic Asian spoons need to be implemented before I come back or I'll bring my own! Really a pain to deal with that without bringing the whole bowl to your mouth in public. After reading reviews of this location vs their brick and mortar mothership in Edmonds, this one gets dumped on because of what's perceived as rude or poor service and high price for experience. Yes this is a little high on price per the experience but not extremely so. And honestly the service and its format was not impressive but I didn't find them rude. Perhaps complacent and disengaged as it's just a counter job for this staff and not real table service etc. After looking at the Edmonds reviews, the product offerings are far more varied then this little food counter and it seems that there's is a gracious owner/operator there and better food and beverage options! I'd prefer eating there I think if it weren't for the fact that I can almost see this food court from our house. 4 stars is a bit generous but they executed a good pork belly noodle soup ultimately.

She gave my daughter a sample and we were sold; she had to have her own. Type of cuisine: Chinese, with dumplings, noodles, and rice bowls. A selection of bubble tea is also available. Ambiance: A "strip mall" like setting, Dumpling Generation is one of three or four eateries inside the building that hosts Third Place Books, and sits directly across the way from the stage and cafeteria seating area. The fluorescent lights above and linoleum floors below, while somewhat vanilla, still give a warm welcome, as the space is bustling with friends and happy faces. What I ordered: We ordered the Tomato & Egg Mixed Noodles ($16) - their signature homemade noodles with a tomato and egg sauce, plus edamame and cucumber atop. What I loved: My daughter devoured the noodles with eggs and tomato as well as the cucumber. I loved it, too, especially considering the coldness of the edamame and cucumber. Tasty and worked surprisingly well together. Why I loved it: The place seems happening with so many to-go dumpling orders. We stuck with the one item recommended to us, but would love to go back and try what they are known for. Cost: Average to high

Yet, it's disappointing to say that we've been sourly disappointed the last 2-3 times we came here. Not sure if it's management change or something happened, but Nakagawa lost its magic with us. 1. The service has been terribly slow and just not inviting anymore. After ordering, we waited easily 35-40 min for the food. I know it takes time to meticulously prep rolls, but after 30 min of just sitting and waiting, you can't help but start feeling hangry. And this isn't just a one-time occurrence - this happened multiple times for us. 2. The bento box quality. I LOVE bento boxes - it was such a treat to dine on so many different Japanese options, like a sampler box of goodness. Ranging from nigiri to sushi, from tempura to the soup, bento boxes have a special place in my heart. Yet, I feel like Nakagawa's bento boxes have sadly missed that mark. The protein (chicken teriyaki/katsu) tastes old and oddly mushy, and the portions are quite small, just leaving me wanting more. Don't get me wrong - the fish is still good. Solid place for seafood, paired with a lengthy wait. But Nakagawa just lost its touch with us, and driving that 30-35 min trek is not worth it for us anymore.
