This place was pretty good, I came here for lunch while out working in the area. It's a little hole in the wall spot. Prices are above average and the staff is nice. What I especially liked about this place is that they make the Vietnamese coffee the old fashion drip way which I haven't seen in a while. The coffee made this way seems to pack more of a punch which I am a fan of. I want to say they definitely upgraded the flavor of their broth from when I had originally tried it several years ago. I'm glad I gave them a second chance and realize now I almost missed out on some great pho. The broth was super flavorful. Broth Grade: A I ordered the XL size bowl of pho because I felt a bit under the weather and I was really hungry. There was plenty of noodles. I did wish I had more basil for the size of bowl I had. The meats were standard. Grade: B Service was pretty good. I came during a lunch rush. I was lucky in that I got the last table. Many people were grabbing takeout orders due to the time. Our kids love this place and we enjoy it too; it's one of those regular spots for a quick, delicious meal, especially if it's chilly out. My son gets the chicken pho, my wife and daughter each get a bowl of beef pho, and I'll switch between pho and vermicelli depending on how I'm feeling. We usually also all share an order of spring rolls. It's all tasty and the service is super friendly too. It's fun to watch whatever Vietnamese cooking videos is playing on the TV during a meal. We didn't come much until having a bad bowl of pho at another restaurant (SC Noodle House) and were looking for a nearby option to get that experience out of our heads. Since then this has been in our regular family meal rotation. Note that the parking lot can be a little tight but usually there are spots. read more

We finally dined in here. The owners and waiters were so nice and attentive. Inside was clean and warm (although the colored loghting is an interesting choice hehe). The large pho was a good size and the broth is good. We loved the imperial rolls which came with lettuce, noodles, and some pickled carrots/daikon to eat with (will definitely get that again)! My husband got the bun w/ filet mignon; it was pricey but the beef was cooked very well and flavorful! Overall I think the pricing is mostly fair and the food is great. This pho was so surprisingly good. I got the Pho Tai and it was delicious. Very flavorful broth that doesn't need anything added too. Although I do like my broth a little spicy so I do pop in a little sriracha. I also grabbed some imperial rolls which were also quite tasty and hot. First off, I'm very picky about my bun bo hue. Their broth was AMAZING that I had to take it home! I never encountered a Vietnamese restaurant that uses pho noodles instead of the usual bun hence the name. I wish they added pork blood just like how other places do. I have so far only ordered Pho to go, but it has been very delicious. They package everything very well and have specific pho/soup to go containers making it very easy to enjoy. I mainly stick to Chicken Pho. The flavoring of the broth is very delicious, there is a good amount of meat and noodles and plenty of fresh onion and cilantro. I came here with friends to enjoy some pho and catch up. Pho Vinh is located in a complex on a busy street and thankfully they had their own parking. We came a bit early so there was plenty of parking available. If you come when it gets busier, that may not be the case. If I could give ZERO stars, I would! This was honestly the worst dining experience I've ever had. We should've known to leave the moment our water came. One of us asked for hot water, but we got lukewarm, cloudy tap water that looked like it came straight from a sink. Gross. Then came the food -- and it only got worse. The pho was completely flavorless, no aroma, and the meat tasted spoiled. The Bún Gà looked like it had been sitting out all day -- dry, tough, and unappetizing. The "fresh" coconut water was a total scam -- maybe an ounce of real coconut mixed with tap water, and the coconut meat was freezer-burnt. Disgusting. The only thing even halfway decent were the egg rolls, but those were obviously frozen store-bought ones just fried up. The interior of the restaurant was as bad as the food -- old, uninviting, and depressing. Everything was overpriced, bland, and poorly prepared. Pho Vinh is owned and operated by a friendly Vietnamese couple. Service is always very prompt and welcoming. Got the bun bo hue here but they don't use the round noodles, but instead the rice vermicelli type which you get with usual pho. That was a bit disappointing. Sadly though, I sent it back after a few bites because there was a sizable gnat in my soup. They offered to replace but it honestly just wasn't good - it didn't have a depth of flavor. I have never seen bon Bo hue pho with regular pho noodles instead of the round noodle. It's missing cha pork blood pork meat and more and the broth is from frozen concentrated broth and mix with water. The way they served their bon Bo hue should be called spicy noodles served with beef brisket tendon and pho noodles. It's nothing like a bon Bo hue comparing to any pho places in SJ. read more

I usually get Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and they never have the traditional thick noodles that is served with them which is disappointing given I love that type of noodle paired with the soup. But besides that, the soup base is decent and flavorful. I recently got their steak and brisket pho and it wasn't that flavorful. It didn't have the strong beef flavor to it that I always look forward to when taking a sip of the broth.
