This is not my first time coming here to Pho Vy. But it is my first time trying their fried chicken with fried rice. I've always wanted to try this dish because it looks pretty good and when I did try it, I was not disappointed. The chicken was marinated just right. It had a sweet and salty taste to it even though it was fried and with the pickled veggies, they complimented it more. I would definitely order this dish again. The dessert drink with grass jelly and coconut milk is amazing delicious!! I really like the owner here she is super kind and always smiling. I used to really like this place when I came here in the past, but today it wasn't my fav. They won't make grilled chicken spring rolls, which is fine some places will some won't. So I decided to get a ban MI and there was hardly any sauce in it at all, it was really dry. There wasn't much meat in it either. My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast/brunch and we weren't really wanting pho as it was extremely hot. Luckily, we saw that they have other offerings on their menu including Bò Lúc Lắc which has become one of my boyfriend's favorite Vietnamese dishes. He ordered the entree portion with fried rice while I got the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork. It did take some time to get our food which I suppose was fine as we didn't order pho and it seems that they prepare the food fresh. There were several tables taken and a good amount of take out orders coming through since we entered. The food arrived piping out and everything tasted fantastic. I wouldn't say it was the best thing I have had but it was decent for the price. The amount of food was fair too, though the Bò Lúc Lắc definitely could have had more steak in it. I do want to try their other menu items, especially the pho. The inside of the restaurant didn't really stand out to me. It felt like a waiting room more than a restaurant so take that as you will. The tables had condiments for your food as well as utensils. It seemed pretty clean. Although the way to bathroom showed a bit of disorganization as they had stuff all over the place. We ordered the combo and the beef stew pho, spring, spring and summer rolls. The soup base were both very good. The summer and spring rolls were just ok. The spring rolls were a bit malnourished. I would say the thinnest and smallest I ever had. The sauces were a bit watered down. Other than that, I would definitely go back for the pho just not the appetizers. read more

GREAT PHO PLACE! I overlooked this place and I'm glad I finally tried it! The pho was delicious! Noodles were cooked just right and the steak was tasty. I got the large pho with rare steak. The both was full of flavor and authentic. The service was very good. Pho was made very quickly and the quality was excellent. The large pho only costed $12!! The ambiance is cozy. Pho Vy: I stopped going here cause I got big black hair in my food. But I had a friend who was in the neighborhood and wanted some Pho. I only came back because I didn't want to travel to Federal Way. I got the Bun Bo Hue. So disappointing, I didn't get my blood cake meat or pork knuckle like the picture that was displayed in the menu. It was mainly broth and again barely any meat. We came here and they got busy around 1pm on a Sunday. I tried their Bún Bò Huế and it was not as spicy as I hoped it would be but it was fine. It came with a small cup of chili oil and it helped on making it a bit more spicy to my liking. I popped in here for a light bite after my nail appointment and quickly realized what a gem of a restaurant this is! They were blasting old pop songs (think Bananarama), had all the condiments and silverware at the table, kept your water cup full, and brought the food quickly after ordering. The minute I tried the fish sauce, I was sold. I got the B1 - bun tom thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli salad with grilled pork, shrimp, and egg roll). I've been to pho Vy a few times in about 6 or so years. I've tried some of the items on the menu, but my opinion I enjoy their pho more than the other dishes. They are located just around the corner from my house. We've frequented the restaurant that used to be next door until they closed. We try to support small businesses in our city as much as we can. There are a lot of pho places around, so far they are the better ones around. The last time we went to visit pho vy, the service was over the top. Great place for fast Vietnamese Food! This place was very busy with the people eating in and also people picking up their to go orders, which was a good sign that their food was good. The servers were moving quickly to ensure everyone was taken care of. The gyoza was hot and crispy with a lot of pork filling. The garlic chicken wings were finger licking good! So much flavor packed into a tiny wing. The pho had good flavor and came with the usual toppings. My daughter wasn't too impressed by the chicken teriyaki and said it was dry. The absolute BEST fried rice I've ever had in my life (house special in the picture, without shrimp sub beef, and no onion), my mom and I are obsessed with it. I've tried so many other places closer to where I live hoping to find something remotely as good, but nothing comes close, like not at all. I used to live less than 10min away, now I'm 30min, but even still I'll make the drive at least once a week. I don't know what it is, the type of rice (it's obviously white), or how they cook it, but it's so unique and unlike anything I've ever had. They also include and have Chinese sausage, something I've not been able to find at any teriyaki, Thai, or pho place. Once you try this fried rice you'll never want it from any other spot, I promise you that. The house special fried rice is enough for a meal by itself and the portions are huge. For all the protein they include its not too cheap, about $17-$18 with tip, but it's so worth it. Trust me, just go try it. read more

One of my favorite go to pho shop around the area. Service is great and so are the foods. Pho broth is flavorful and the meats tastes fresh. I usually order the pho dac biet (special combo) and it's pretty consistent, flavorwise. They are known for their pho but do try their other dishes as well, they are equally delicious! If you are in a rush or don't have too much time for lunch, don't worry, a bowl of pho usually comes out within 5 minutes of ordering. This is my second time not having the best experience here. They also are still decorated with Christmas decor which is a turn off (when its not the holiday season). This place can be good but the people that work here have such bad attitude for no reason and very very stingy on everything. Only have one napkin and just about a drop of peanut sauce. The pho here is pretty good, but remember that this is a pho shop. Not a very good Vietnamese restaurant. Bun bo hue is horrible and actually is not authentic. My go to pho restaurant in Kent! The owner is super nice and they provide fresh authentic veggies (including ngo gai)with your order of pho. I included a picture to show how they are the only restaurant that slices my short ribs for friendly eating. (I didn't need to ask for this; they just always add the slices.) We stopped by Pho Vy while in between showings during this weekend's house hunting. GOODNESS! This place was so good! We ordered the shrimp fried rice, the spring rolls, shrimp egg noodle and veggies, the beef pho and the veggie pho. The service was great, the food was out quick, and the portions were filling! The worst part of our experience here was that we were in a rush to get to the next spot so we didn't get take the time we needed to finish it all! So good and we will probably go out of our way to make it back to Pho Vy! read more
