First time dining here and I was blown away. Very close to planet fitness in Covington. There was plenty of parking and the lot was clean. Nice dining room and they paid constant attention to any tables that had turned over to make sure they cleaned it very quickly. I was there for about 45 minutes and they had a steady line of people and food delivery people picking up orders. The menu had a lot of different options. I went with spring rolls and brisket pho. The broth was absolutely incredible. The portion size was perfect, not overly huge like you get at a lot of places. The sliced vegetables were fresh and delicious. The two people waiting on customers were great. Very kind and professional and worked hard to make sure that things were clean and the orders were all accurate. Great Value and I highly recommend it. Well, let me get started....... thankfully, I took pictures this time before eating up all the food! Honestly, I always check out reviews before I go to any place just in case, because as we all know, money can be easily made as quickly as it I spent. One review from SF said that this is definitely an underrated Pho spot!!!! I would say I also agree upon entering the restaurant was very clean, including the restroom. The host sat us right away, granted it was empty when we arrived, but slowly picked up and there were lots of Togo orders. I ordered the vegetable pho minus the tofu and they give the option of having vegetable broth or beef broth. I of course, went with the vegetable broth. My lovely lunch partner, foodie in crime went with the steak pho and finished everything. Nothing was left in that bowl. The vegetable pho was packed full of vegetables, which I absolutely love the flavor was savory, not greasy at all. The steak pho he told me was delicious too! The sides were nice and fresh, including the basil which I honestly have to say I'm very picky because sometimes restaurants will bring out basil that is turning and I end up requesting fresh basil or just more basil. We were not hungry enough to order any appetizers or sandwiches off the menu but for sure the next time we're up in this area I will be happy to order. I live nearby and have been going here for 5 years. Foods really declined. It was really "okay" to begin with but it has gone downhill. I usually order pho and yakisoba. Well. This was a (not so) fun experience **I did use Uber eats for delivery and paid for priority* Kung Poa Chicken It slopped EVERY WHERE! Not the container at all for this. It also was so heavy that it was bending and leaking. Leaked all over the bag so the Pho was inedible. So many things in the kung poa gone wrong. The vegetables were not good plus so many items had burn spots. I've never had kung poa like this...It also tasted like orange. It also was so dry because the chicken was sliced so thin "Chicken Noodle soup" It's pho. The broth was definitely beef. The sprouts were inedible. They smelled bad. The kung poa sauce got on everything and inside the package so I couldn't enjoy the toppings. So like what's the pho point in getting pho? Broth was so bland. Like good lawrd. It's like it was straight from a box. Not your traditional comforting pho. So sad and disheartening that it wasn't good. Thai Tea: This is why it gets two stars instead of one. Every time we go here we spend at least $80 on 2 dishes, an appetizer, 2 drinks and a dish to go for my husbands lunch the next day. I happened to want to try something new and ordered a mango bubble tea. I took one sip and was so sweet my jaw hurt. I went to the counter and asked the girl if I could exchange it for just a Thai tea. I had that before it was fine. She said she would ask her manager. Like what? Usually places are like "sure we'd be glad - to sorry about that". So I was surprised. She came back with the Thai tea and she said her manager said next time they won't do it but this time they will. She then proceeded to say that they don't do exchanges and that the cost of exchanges comes out of workers pockets. Like what?? First of all that's wrong. And secondly, don't try to make your customer feel guilty about ordering g something and it not living up to its expectations and just wanting an exchange. The drinking damn near $10 and it probably only cost them less than $1 to make. Weird and super bad customer service. We won't be coming back. I also regret the $10 tip we added to the bill. I was famished and decided to stop in for take out last week. I ordered spicy chicken wings, in addition to a small brisket with meatball noodle soup. The spice on the chicken wings permeated the car. Devil may care I rushed home to eat. The chicken wings in all it's sticky goodness was so hot and delicious. Finger licking good. Just enough spices not to burn your lips off or your fingers to make them red. They packed me up with more soup, brisket, rice noodles and chewy meatballs than you could imagine. Not your mamma's meatballs. Chewy and springing with flavor. I almost called to ask if they made a mistake on the size. I didn't. I just took the bag with the accoutrements and put it in the largest bowl I could find. Slurping commenced. Next time I'll boil the soup and add the noodles - they lacked flavor. Totally not the restaurants fault. Just the way I put it all together. This is what happens when "Hello, My Twenties." is on Netflix and the girls are eating noodles. Liars and thieves. Zero integrity I would not trust their food. My daughter had lunch there, she accidentally left her brand new AirPods behind. She called the store a few hours later asking the lady to check for the AirPods. She knew exactly where she left them. The girl on the phone said nope, they are not here. But the "find my AirPods" app was telling us, that was exactly where they were. My daughter called again, told her the app is telling us they are there. Again, was told no, they checked everywhere a customer must have taken them. So we decided to drive down, spoke to cashier and the front end girl again, they both said no they are not here. My daughter showed the Find My iPhone app showing her AirPods were 12 feet in front of her, inside the kitchen. They then went in the back with her phone/app directing to the AirPods and came back with her AirPods! We were leaving and all three employees were laughing.
