Somewhat lowkey restaurant in a small business plaza. I ordered grilled beef and grilled pork spring rolls. Both were delicious. Both beef and pork were marinated well and present with every bite of the spring rolls. Fantastic lunch experience! Service is quick and friendly. I was immediately seated and given a menu. I ordered 3 egg rolls and one regular sized #1 house special (minus tripe). Food came out fast and steaming hot. It was delicious! Broth for the pho had very nice flavor, and they provided a generous portion of noodles. Egg rolls were hot and crunchy with a dipping sauce. 1000000% recommend to come here if you are vegetarian/vegan and craving some quality pho. Their tofu & vegetable pho with vegan broth is the best vegetarian pho I've ever tried. Most other places skimp on veggies or do not have decent vegan broth, but this place certainly does not. Their vegan broth is very flavorful and they use a variety of delicious veggies. The tofu they include is fried, which I find holds up much better than the soft tofu that other restaurants use. It's delicious! I would also recommend their vegetable egg rolls. Very delicious and fried perfectly. Their tofu spring rolls were not the best I've ever had, but really I cannot complain because I love this place. Not to mention their service is impeccable! I've been to this spot many, many times and we are always greeted so respectfully by the gentleman I assume is the owner or manager. 3 1/2 stars. This use to be a Cuban Cafe but they went bust. It's quite small and at lunch sat at the counter since all the tables were occupied. I wasn't in the mood for pho and opted for grilled chicken over rice which came with a salad. The chicken was seasoned right on and went nice with steamed rice and the salad was fresh. I'm glad Pho Whittier is open BC its convenient to home so when I'm craving pho I can get a quick fix. read more

I'm new to venturing out more trying different cuisines and this place to me was fulfilling. I see the reviews all being different, but when you've lived in Whittier all your life (and ironically work in Little Tokyo with a vast growing amount of different restaurants opening up allover out there), you are just happy it's becoming more diverse in choices. I actually liked this restaurant. It's small, but comfortable. The people who waited on us were very attentive and polite. Came on a weekday after work and it wasn't too crowded, but by the time we left, it was a full house. So it appears to be popular w/the locals (oh Yay!). They give you nice sized proportions and we left feeling full. Prices were very reasonable. A special note of thanks to Phil T for his recommendation! I give this place a 3.5 stars. Mainly because service was not that great. It took them 15 minutes to acknowledge me. I ordered the veggie pho. Until I become a pho aficionado, I really don't know how the broth is supposed to taste like, and what's considered authentic or not. The broth tasted ok to me. To satisfy my soup mood we decided to check out this spot. I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a simple vegetarian broth with chicken. It was just the flavor I was looking for, fresh & with minimal salt. I also tried one of their Banh Mi Chicken sandwiches which was another pleasant surprise. Very unethical restaurant. I had given them a heads up telling them to please not make the food as I will be cancelling my Uber Eats order due to a promo issue on the app. As I did not want them losing any money on the order (as courtesy). This happened 1 second after the order went in, so there is absolutely no chance they started on the order. They said OK, please call Uber Eats and have the order cancelled, thank you for letting us know. I call Uber Eats customer support and tell them the owner asked me to tell you to please cancel the order due to an issue on the Uber Eats app. Uber Eats says that they need to call the restaurant to confirm. The restaurant has the audacity to say that they already made the food. Why lie? read more

Just happened to be in Whittier and found this place from Yelp. All the food was delicious. And the portion was huge! Like huuuuggggeeeee! The price was cheap too! I am a huge fan of pho Whittier! This place is so reliable and fast and their pho is always really solid. I usually get the plain pho, my boyfriend gets the chicken pho, and we get the spring rolls or egg rolls. We always get the Thai tea. Sometimes they are out of boba by the end of the night. We order for pickup online and it is usually ready asap. They give so much sauces on the side and don't skimp out! I would highly recommend this little spot read more

Got the brisket and steak pho. It was good but the meat was very fatty and the to-go did not have enough veggies when I asked for extra basil, etc. The price was also a dollar more than price the menus on Yelp. The egg roll appetizer costed as much as a bowl of pho which sounded expensive, but the order of egg rolls was 6 pieces which makes up for it. However, total price of my order is more expensive than other pho places I've been too. There are not a lot of pho places in the area, so I may still come back for the extreme cravings. read more

Unfortunately at least 2x I've found hair in my food, they did take it off the bill mmm no apology or anything just like okayyy...... and they would take the food away. Tried there well done brisket pho and beef springrolls. Both were very good. The bowl is a typical size, I would say 32 oz container. Plenty of noodle and protein, a bit on the fatty side and plenty of condiments. The springrolls were good but it does seem like they could have a bit more beef. Maybe I was just too hungry. Tried pho at many places and there just wasn't anything that made me say this is the best pho I have had, but also not a bad spot at all. I will have to try them again and see how it goes. Party of 4, we all ordered Brisket Pho. The only meat we got was literally FAT! Don't understand why anyone would want all fat in their Pho. They did give us free drinks after we complained. Still an unpleasant experience only having fat in our soup. read more

Good stock, hearty portions, reasonably priced - generally speaking, there's a direct correlation as to the quality of pho (regionally) and its physical proximity to either the 626 or westminister : as a result of this phenomenon I've had some God awful pho this side of la county. I think pho Whittier, and to some extent pho mai (towards sf springs) are the two exceptions to the rule. A nice, beefy, full bodied pho, that's likely the best in the city of Whittier. 4 stars. read more

Ordered Pho ($7.95) because I was hung over. It was loaded with meat and the broth was flavorful. The small is smaller than your other pho restaurants though. The egg rolls ($7.95) came with six. The inside of it had very little filling and was a little too oily than what I'm used to. I would pass on this next time. Service here was okay but it is expected with a Vietnamese restaurant. This is a nice and clean little pho place that I am happy to have visited. The pho was so good here! I ordered the well done steak with brisket pho, large size. The noodles were perfect and the meat serving was generous! So worth the price for how much you get. Way better than the other restaurant "pho & roll" in uptown Whittier. We also ordered the spring rolls with pork and shrimp in them. They were great and so was the peanut sauce they come with. Didnt get to try the eggrolls that everyone raves about though because they were all out. I cant wait to try them the next time I am here because we will definitely be returning. The service was excellent. They seated us immediately and as soon as we had finished looking through the menu, our server noticed and came right over.
