I usually get either the #9 Pho Tai Nam or the #25 pork chop with rice. I also like the #41 vermicelli with pork and egg roll. #27 shaken beef is a good portion size, but I've had better. Pho portions are very good--lots of meat. Service is fast and friendly. It is a busy restaurant but I've never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes. They are very efficient at turning over tables. My only negative experience here was eating at the table by the door to the restrooms. At times, especially when people pass back and forth, you can smell the restrooms which isn't ideal. read more

Had a great first time here at Pho 45, I've been meaning to try this place out due to how close by it is and they have pho ga, something I've always wanted to try! They give a LOT of meat, i swear my pho ga was 99% chicken and 1% pho noodles lol! Broth has cilantro + green onions, yum! Their condiment stand has sriracha, hoison sauce, chili oil, and sambal sauce, so you can really mix and match these sauces into your pho and your sliced onions. Service was outstanding- second you step in, you are kindly greeted and get to choose your seat. They bring out your waters, utensils, napkins immediately. They check up on you to make sure you are taken care of if you need anything. 6 out 5 stars for the service, never had this amazing of service like this before at any pho restaurant, major shoutout to the PM crew on 6/9, you guys made our first time experience here AMAZING! read more

I was excited to try a Viet place not in Garden Grove, but this place made me realize that nothing will ever beat the classic spots. I got the Bun Thit Nuong with Cha Gio and it was very bland and underwhelming. I had to ask for extra fish sauce and drown it in the sauce but it was still so bland. The meat was decent at least, but they barely give you any. The egg roll tasted stale and flavorless. The service here is very off putting because the staff is a little rude and side eye you when eating. Overall, super disappointed and will not be returning. read more

The staff is warm, welcoming, kind, and attentive. I've never once had to ask them to refill my water because they're always on top of it. Even while writing this, they refilled my water! This is my fav local spot for pho. I've been coming here for almost a decade & the quality & taste has been consistent for all these years. The best part is the broth. It's served hot (temperature wise) which is a huge plus for me. Nowhere else I've been to serves their broth this hot. I also like that they're generous with the meat portion, onions & green onions although you could always order more on the side. Their spring roll isn't anything special but always served fresh. My husband orders the shrimp fried rice whenever he isn't in the mood for pho. The fried rice is also nothing out of the ordinary but solid. The 5 star review is for the pho. This is a local favorite for a reason, it's incredible. I visited on a Sunday night and it was pretty poppin as always, but not too long of a wait either (about 10 minutes or so). The service staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, the food comes out quickly (but not too quickly, I'd say 15 minutes or so), and the restaurant seating is comfortable and clean. What a find! This place is awesome. Crowded enough to add validation of its popularity but not too crowded to intimidate us for adding our names for a party of 8 to the waitlist (it's a physical paper one). Parking is easy since it shares a big lot with Stater Bros and other shops on the strip. It's a pretty decent sized place that takes up two storefronts so the line moved at a decent pace. The pho itself was delicious; $16 for a huge bowl of filet mignon pho. They give you a ton of beef! As a diehard cilantro fan I was thrilled that we were given a HEAPING plate of self-serve cilantro, a separate plate of onions, and a plate of basil and bean sprouts and limes. I've never found another pho place that generous with the separate toppings. Also standout fact: the drinking water is delicious. I don't live in Southern California so I dread the hard mineral taste that I've come to expect from the area, but Pho 45 must use some sort of filter or softener because it's absent of that weird metallic taste! 6 stars if I could. I got the first combo pho item, which has all different types of meat in it. There was a lot of meat and noodle in my dish, but the broth was not as flavorful as I would've liked. 12/16/2024 - Personally, I think this is one of the best pho restaurants in the area. A bowl of pho here costs $14.99, which I think is reasonable! It may seem like a lot considering how their pho used to cost $9.45 years ago. But I've been to places now that charge $17-20 for pho that doesn't taste nearly as good and sometimes are smaller in portion. We ordered the #1 Pho 45 Dac Biet combo (with rare steak, well done flank, tendon, and tripe) and the #5 Pho Tai Chin (with well done steak and brisket). The pho has good taste overall and comes in a large bowl. They don't skimp out on the meat and the cuts they use are not fatty. We also got the #34 Cha Giao (4-count crispy egg rolls). It came with lettuce you could wrap the egg rolls in and vinegar to dip. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but I did notice that they have more staff working the floor than they need to adequately serve the patrons. That being said, the staff was super attentive and ready within seconds if you needed anything. read more
