Not bad for two full dishes, a side of fried rice, Thai tea and iced tea.

The food is fantastic. The staff are always friendly and attentive but not too attentive. They let you eat. The spot is in a strip mall but it's comfortable and always very clean

So, good! So, today on this sunny afternoon, my mother and her dutiful offspring venture into the culinary wonderland of Lucky Thai Restaurant. My momma, ever the connoisseur of life's finer things, asked me if I could recommend a meal that was a "flavorful spiritual extravaganza." Naturally, I rose to the challenge, knowing full well that Asian cuisine, much like its Mediterranean counterpart, is an explosion of flavors that can send one into a trance, questioning all their life choices. Thus, I had her try four of my all-time favorites, plus dessert, of course. **Fresh Spring Roll**: We kicked things off with the Spring Rolls, wrapped delicately in rice paper and stuffed with mixed greens, pork, and shrimp. It came with four rolls and two dipping sauces - a tasty oil concoction and a delightful peanut sauce. The rolls were generous with shrimp, pork, and vegetables, making them a steal at $10.95. Momma loved them so much she nearly tried to smuggle the peanut sauce in her purse. **Pineapple Fried Rice**: Next up, my all-time favorite, the Pineapple Fried Rice. Now, let's be honest here: they only gave us two shrimp, which is a shrimp travesty considering other places shower you with at least six. But, and this is a big but, the stir-fried rice with shrimp, chicken, pineapple, onions, egg, cashew nuts, and curry powder was so divine, I didn't even think to complain. At $17.95, it's a bit pricey, but hey, sometimes you pay extra for enlightenment. **Pad See Ew Noodle**: The Pad See Ew was our third delight. Pan-fried rice noodles with shrimp, egg, Chinese broccoli, and black soy sauce. Having sampled this dish at over 50 Thai joints, I consider myself a bit of a Pad See Ew snob. This one was good - not earth-shattering, but solid. Let's call it average in a good way. Worth the $14.95 for sure. **Chicken Satay**: Then, there was the Chicken Satay. Grilled marinated chicken with Thai herbs and coconut milk, served with peanut sauce and cucumber salad. It was okay, not mind-blowing, but decent. At $10.95, it's a fair trade-off for some protein, even if it didn't exactly transport us to the streets of Bangkok. **Dessert**: Finally, we reached the grand finale - crispy coconut chips with sesame seeds and coconut ice cream. This dessert was nothing short of a revelation. I've never been a coconut fanatic, but wow! The crispy, delicate chips paired perfectly with the smooth, silky ice cream, sending my sweet tooth into overdrive. A fitting end to our flavorful journey. In conclusion, Lucky Thai Restaurant delivered a flavorful spiritual extravaganza that left momma and me both satisfied and slightly dazed - questioning our life choices, but in the best possible way.

Not worth the price $$$$ and to add tofu it was going to be an extra $5

The ladies were nice but I don't think I got what I paid for. I highly recommend just going to the one near Telegraph rd and Colima

Barf!!! Chicken 40. Pad See Ew DISAPPOINTED

Ordered for Lunch and our Pad See Ew order looked like barf! The Noodles were not distinguished at all, made me sick to my stomach!

    62. Garlic Pepper (Tofu)

Food was amazing! I ordered the garlic pepper tofu with rice and it was very flavorful and delicious. Perfect serving size for lunch! We also tried the crème brûlée for dessert and it was very nice. The price was great too!

    Thai Iced Tea was great!

I would give the food an overall 3.5/5…read more Chinese Broccoli oyster sauce: nicely cooked, not salty or oily at all. I think it is a great vegetable dish. Crab omelette fried rice: the best dish of the night! The crab and omelette are nicely cooked, not overly salty. The rice to egg+crab ratio is great. It is not spicy, the seasoning is just right. I highly recommend this. Mango sweet sticky rice: not bad, just alright. We think the sticky rice is too soft and soggy, not chewy enough. The coconut milk is served on the side so you can pour it based on your preference. The mango is perfectly ripened, very sweet. Tom Yum Noodle Soup with seafood: our least favorite dish. The noodle is very soggy, there's really no texture to it. I know there's the word "noodles" in their name, but we definitely do not remember this noodle option at all. The tom yum soup was not great either, the spiciness is way too strong, so you can't taste much of the sourness. The seafood variety was ok, there are shrimps, fish fillets, mussels, squid, and fish balls. The texture of the squids and fish fillets tasted a bit weird. Their service was nice though we got sorted at a corner, so we had a hard time getting the staff's attention. The restaurant has a very unique decorations. There are a lot of figurines, pictures and statues. Overall, their dishes are either really good or the complete opposite, not sure if I would want to go back again.
