Stopped by for Sunday dinner. We were seated quickly and our server was very friendly. There were several groups eating here which was a good sign. Our table was nice and clean too. They have a large grill area and serving station for the Mongolian bbq. We may come back to try that item. This visit we ordered the house special pho and the house special egg noodle. They provided a good serving of meat for both dishes. My fiancé liked that they cut the tripe into thin strips so it's easier to eat. I really enjoyed the egg noodle. Was also happy to see that the shrimp pieces were large and properly cleaned. They had the crispy chili oil as a condiment on the table which was great because I love crispy chili oil and was able to use a generous amount. Overall a good solid meal. We were having a partial case of the HALT's We were Hungry Angry Lonely - not really Tired So we decided to try Pho Lily and sure made the right decision. My son had the Mongolian kids plate and he almost licked the plate . I had chicken Pho and my wife had chicken and rice. Pho Lily is a solid but ultimately unremarkable option for pho. We ordered the appetizer platter, brisket and steak pho, and the special pho combination with beef rib. The broth was good--comforting and satisfying--but it didn't really stand out from other pho spots in the area. The appetizer platter was mediocre and not something I'd reorder. The beef rib in the special pho was decent, but again, nothing particularly memorable. They also offer Mongolian BBQ, which is interesting, though we didn't try it this visit. Service was hit or miss. Overall it was okay, but one of the servers came off as rude, which took away from the experience. My family and I have been coming here for years. I'll always know this as great wall. I love their Mongolian bbq ayce. Most of the employees will recognize my father. We went here for dinner, and I felt that the food quality unfortunately took a turn for the worse. We got spring rolls, fried rice with salmon, vermicelli with lemongrass chicken, and turon. Note that there's also a 4% surcharge when using a card to pay. In the past few years, the fried rice with salmon was a solid dish. However, the two salmon pieces were a bit small and tasted like they were premade from a freezer as breaded patties. The fried rice was solid. Overall, the dish isn't worth its price. While I was fine with the lemongrass chicken, the vermicelli noodles weren't chilled to my liking. The heat from the chicken seemed to transfer to the noodles. It lacked the refreshing taste I enjoy when eating vermicelli. The spring rolls had shrimp and pork. While they were adequate, the rice paper didn't taste exactly fresh. The peanut sauce was tasty, however. We got the turon after we finished our main dishes. Cut into small pieces and topped with chocolate syrup, it tasted good. Unfortunately, the dinner was disappointing due to the fried rice with salmon; I wouldn't recommend ordering it. Their phos would probably be reliably good menu choices. Came here with a group of three and every single dish was a hit from start to finish. This place is always consistent and the quality is on point! We started with the egg rolls, which are perfect for sharing, it was crispy, flavorful, and they came out piping hot and super fresh. I always order the Pho Dac Biet (Large) and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, the broth is incredibly clean and flavorful. You can really tell the broth is made with care. The other two ordered the Wagyu Rib Pho and the Wagyu Steak Pho. The Wagyu rib portion was HUGE with meat that was unbelievably tender, and the Wagyu steak was packed with flavor and melt in your mouth good. Now for the surprise of the night: the GRILLED BEEF BAHN MI. I normally never order banh mi, especially when I'm already getting pho, but I decided to take a chance and wow. It completely stole the show. It was incredibly filling, packed with juicy, tender, flavorful beef, and paired perfectly with the pho soup. The bread was toasted just right crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. On top of the amazing food, I really love that they keep this place clean and spacious, and the owner is always friendly and kind, which makes the experience even better. I saw that they'll be introducing some new items like Bahn Xeo along with different Vietnamese dishes to their menu which we can't wait to try next time! We discovered Pho Lily and Mongolian BBQ in February 2025 and have returned many times since. Whether dining in or taking out, everything we've ordered has been consistently delicious. This is now our go-to spot for pho and banh mi. On our first visit, we tried SP2 and SP3--the wagyu beef and rich broth were incredibly satisfying (seriously, get SP2!). We've also become huge fans of their grilled pork banh mi--the bread is perfectly crisp+flaky on the outside, soft inside, and the pork is seasoned just right. We haven't tried the Mongolian BBQ side of the menu yet, but based on everything else, it's only a matter of time. The owner and staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. The owner--a sweet lady--often checks in to chat and make sure everything's good. It's clear they value their customers, and that personal touch goes a long way with us. Funny enough, we'd driven past this spot for years, not realizing new ownership took over during the pandemic. A Yelp search for banh mi finally brought us in--and discovering their wagyu pho sealed the deal. Game over. I highly recommend this local business and encourage you to give them a try. read more

My friends introduced me to this spot and treated me to eat here not too long ago. I was encouraged to try the mongolian noodles but I opted for a teriyaki chicken plate and spring rolls. While my food was good, the noodles were exceptionally good, my friend let me sample her plate. I did see all the fresh vegetables, meats, and sauces and spices set up but it overwhelmed me lol so I didn't get it for that main reason, I can get overwhelmed with too many options. The food here is a bit on the bland side. I give them a A for effort but it seems there is something missing in the kitchen. I ordered a Wonton soup a Shaking Beef and started our meal with Spring Rolls and shrimp wrapped in egg roll skins. The wontons in the soup were not good and the filling seemed to be something different than what it said in the menu (chicken). The shaking beef was tastless and had raw onions, bell pepper, and napa cabbage which was bitter because it was mostly the stalk of the cabbage. The soup stock was off. This is my go-to Vietnamese restaurant in La Habra for Bun Bo Hue (Spicy beef noodle soup). It's pretty good. There is only one size for $17. I go here at least twice a month. It is family owned, so everyone is serving customers. I have tried other items, and they taste just fine. But I only come for that one soup. The broth is good and the meat is very tender and good. I recommend this place for this soup. It's the only Vietnamese establishment that offers it. I have recommended friends to come here and they have all enjoyed this place. read more

One time a different lady walked up to our table while we were eating and incessantly ranted about how expensive purchasing the $11/lb beef tendon is now and that's why it's almost doubled in price (a lady actually did this). My wife and I were almost spitting our food out because of the guilt this lady was putting on us explaining the hardships of price increases. Pho Lily has good food that's a little on the pricey side. My suggestion would be to get the food to go because it's worth a try.
